Descripción
Kouros Tattoo by Yves Saint Laurent is a woody aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2007, this composition was created by perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer. Upon release, bergamot, neroli and mandarin offer a fresh, citrusy opening; the heart and base reveal a woody, spiritual accord with incense, musk and cedar.

One of the many derivatives of Kouros. This flanker adds nothing to the collection except for the bottle’s nice design. It’s a very diluted Kouros, at 5% or less, ideal for summer. It still evokes the scent of the original, but after ten minutes it sticks to the skin with no trail whatsoever, nothing like the real Kouros in that regard. No wonder there are no reviews; there isn’t much more to say. It’s discontinued and not a great loss. Just for collectors.
One of the many Kouros derivatives. It adds nothing to the collection except for the bottle’s design and colour. It’s a heavily diluted Kouros, at 5% or less, ideal for summer. It still recalls the original, but after ten minutes it sticks to the skin with no trail whatsoever, unlike the real thing. No wonder there are no reviews; there’s not much more to say. It’s discontinued and not a great loss, suitable only for collectors.
The difference I notice compared to the original is that at first it smells like a spa, very fresh, so it lasts better in heat without being overwhelming like the original does. On my skin, it lasts about four hours. And watch out: the original Kouros hasn’t been a beast for a decade; with good skin and plenty of application, you might reach eight hours, but anyone saying otherwise is lying or has an old batch.
The difference from the original is that the opening note has a fresh air, like stepping into a spa, making it more bearable in heat compared to the original’s suffocating opening. Lasts about four hours on me. And don’t be fooled; the original Kouros hasn’t been a beast for a decade; at best you get eight hours if you have good skin and overapply. Anyone saying otherwise is lying or has an old batch.
