Montblanc is the house of my favourite lotions (the only one I didn’t like was Emblem). Legend is my favourite from the brand, but this special edition seems a bit better than the original: more versatile and fresh… I even wore it at night for a first date and it performed brilliantly. Fortunately, I managed to get another bottle and am using it to maximum effect as it’s in my top five fragrances.
It’s a fresh fragrance that delivers on its promise; don’t expect extreme longevity as it’s moderate, typical of Montblanc. Its citrus and green notes make it ideal for any occasion or time of day. Over time, the florals emerge and blend beautifully with tonka bean and mint, while the sandalwood adds character and presence. Not a bad buy if you catch it at a good price; you can buy it blind and it won’t disappoint.
