ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! YEARS PASS AND EVERY TIME I WEAR IT, IT FEELS LIKE AN ENERGY SHOT!!! I LOVE CITRUS SCENTS, AND THIS PARTICULAR ONE OBSESSES ME BECAUSE OF SUCH A UNIQUE BLEND. IT’S NOT JUST ANY CITRUS; IT’S VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE REST!!! I MUST SAY THE FRAGRANCE IS INTENSE AND VERY LONG-LASTING, AT LEAST ON MY SKIN.
It’s my first Etro and, to be honest, I’m left with some doubts. It’s citrusy and, as expected, doesn’t last long, but for the price I would have hoped for more longevity and originality. It smells great: it’s a fresh cologne without pretensions. A potent, green lemon emerges over a herbal blend of petitgrain and fresh rosemary with a dirty vetiver base that later gains body. The result is refreshing, earthy, and with a nice smoky touch. Eventually the citrus fades, leaving an ethereal vetiver over sandalwood. It’s fresh and pleasant, but for me, it’s neither here nor there. I like the scent, but the longevity is that of a cologne, and at this price, I can’t justify it. It lasts about six hours, starting strong before fading to skin scent. If it were cheaper, it would be a good cologne, but it doesn’t seem fair. It’s suited for warm climates and daytime use; perhaps it would work better with more heat. I’d only recommend it to citrus lovers who test it on skin first.
A citrus-woody fragrance with a Mediterranean soul. The name is deceptive: it doesn’t smell like sorbet lemon, but rather sun-drenched hills with rosemary, thyme, and resinous woods. It has a vintage vibe that pairs perfectly with shirts, trousers, or even a suit. It’s unisex but leans masculine thanks to those green, herbal notes. Ideal for daytime or formal events, though there are better options for seduction. It’s for enjoying alone and lovers of luminous scents. Note: don’t mix it, as Etro clashes with layering.
