  1. Rajasthan is a gem that appears occasionally and slips away quietly, yet leaves an indelible mark with its scent. It opens with a citrusy, sparkling, luminous burst like a ray of sunshine, before revealing its oriental heart: rose, pepper, mimosa and vanilla amber, with a soft, delicate spicy touch. It is a dreamlike and comforting experience that transports you to a dreamlike, unreal India straight from a photograph. It smells of architecture and landscape, not of hustle and bustle or markets. I see it as Italian unisex, for eccentric people (due to the rose and pepper) but spotless, and for an indeterminate age, although logically so given the price and rarity. Best worn in spring and summer, during the day or at dusk with air conditioning, as it has freshness and plenty of florals. It is not for daily wear, but rather for events, travels or romantic dinners, and for self-indulgence. If I were to compare it, it’s like Escaler aux Marquises by Dior, but brighter, more floral and delicate. It is worth it and I will buy it again for a special occasion.
