Descripción

Lumiere (2000) by Rochas is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 1984, this composition was created by perfumer Michel Almairac. Its olfactive structure unfolds with an opening of aldehydes, neroli, violet, and bergamot; a heart evoking rose, honeysuckle, neroli, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, jasmine, lily of the valley, and iris; and a sweet, woody base formed by vanilla, tonka bean, cedar, and vetiver.

  • Come back Lumiere please! How incredible so ethereal and unique. It has no comparison with anything I’ve tried. Fresh with presence but nothing intrusive; a fragrance that doesn’t tire. Powdered delicate and super feminine. The trail and longevity are moderate needing reapplication every five hours but I’ve been complimented immensely. I’m sorry it’s discontinued here. Greetings from wonderful Mendoza Argentina♥

  • The first one fair enough I’ll just say: I’VE COME BACK!!! Come back Lumiere please. So incredible so ethereal so unique. It has nothing to do with anything else. Fresh with presence yet nothing intrusive; a scent that doesn’t tire you. Powdered delicate and super feminine. The trail and longevity are moderate; you need to reapply every five hours. But I’ve been showered with so many compliments. I’m sorry they’ve discontinued it here. Greetings from wonderful Mendoza Argentina♥

  • One of the ugliest rose accords ever created. The Lumiere by Rochas version from 2000 is a crime; I’ve rarely seen a rose so rat-like and sickly. It smelled of a rose with a cloying dirty aftertaste and insecticide punctuated by horrid musky morning breath like sniffing a used tissue. I remember the simple crystal bottle the orange and silver box and the magazine ad featuring a model having an orgasmic romp on the beach at dusk. I tried it and was deeply disappointed. There was none of that sensual modernity here. The opening was washed-out a very soft citrus but once it gained body horrid aldehydes and wild flowers churned my stomach smelling of a mixture of insecticide and depilatory wax. The worst was the rose which turned everything into a musky flower radiating dirt dust old false teeth and carded blankets. A horror. Not even God bought it because that modern promise vanished upon spraying. What it carried was something old and antique like a musty catalogue perfume in an older woman’s dressing table. I’ve seen it in the Madame Rochas bottle before not sure if it’s the new version or the original from the eighties and I haven’t bothered to check. If anyone wants to try a rose accord with a cricket cage and rancid sweat aftertaste go ahead.
