It has a suburban touch and a clandestine anchor that plunges you into a dangerous night where seduction and deceit dance like an aged whisky. Nina Lamaison takes us to a perfect symbiosis, blending pleasure with nocturnal stories where bohemianism clashes with a mafia atmosphere in a moonlit dance. I wouldn’t recommend using it unless you are a big person or of very good build. Apart from that, the truth is I didn’t like it. I detect a very marked note of suede/leather.

The bottle is identical to the rest of the Nina line, as already noted. The whisky opens strong but yields quickly to give way to the tiramisu heart. At first, I hesitated between sandalwood and cedar, but in the end, it’s oud, a note that lends it that dark, mysterious animal quality. Additionally, there’s a very marked gourmand touch, like a cappuccino or tiramisu, adding sweetness and creaminess. It’s a blend of tobacco and leather with that initial accord and the oud in the background. It doesn’t resemble anything I cited (CH Men Privé, No Limits, Ferragamo); it’s unique. It’s predominantly masculine, perfect for temperate or cold climates for night outings.

Wow, what a madness! I’m wearing it right now and can’t stop smelling my arm. It evokes different eras; at first, due to the name, I can’t help but imagine The Godfather. This should have been worn by Marlon Brando. It smells of authority, power, and a gentleman, with notes of whisky, coffee, and sweetness. It takes you to a winter meeting of gentlemen discussing politics with a Cuban cigar and a glass of whisky, topped with a tiramisu dessert. It’s masculine, mature, sweet, and serious. For men over 30, it’s a perfect fragrance.

The box is identical to the other Nina bottles, as I mentioned. Upon spraying, the whisky dominates for a while before receding to let the tiramisu come through. At first, I thought it was sandalwood or cedar, but it turns out to be oud, a note that gives it that dark, animal touch I couldn’t identify until the perfumer confirmed it. There’s also a gourmand side, like a cappuccino or creamy dessert. In summary: tobacco, leather, and that initial accord with oud in the background. It doesn’t resemble anything I’ve mentioned (CH Men Privé, No Limits, Ferragamo); it has its own style. It’s predominantly masculine, ideal for temperate or cold climates for night outings.

Maffia is an excellent fragrance, totally unisex, mysterious and sweet, but without being cloying. A pleasure for the senses; the notes are perfectly distinguished and it is very harmonious. I like the alcoholic nuances it has; it contains oud, whisky, and tobacco, notes that are impossible not to like. It is intense but very versatile. If you like fragrances like Ch Man Privé or Gentleman Reserve Privé, I recommend trying it; although it does not resemble any of them, it has nuances of that style. It also has a gourmand element from the tiramisu note, but not a heavy gourmand, just the right touch.
I own this perfume; it is very rich and very long-lasting, but on my skin it comes across as very masculine, perhaps because I am not used to unisex scents. However, in my opinion, I believe it adapts and looks much better on men.
I bought this on decant and it is fascinating. Diabolically mysterious. Sweet, ambered, and liquorish. It is subtlety and mystery, disguising darkness with a dim light, the hostility of a closed night at a fascinating threshold of smoke and alcohol.
I asked Mauricio Carbajal what quality means in a perfume, and he replied that the notes must be perfectly balanced. Mafia is exactly that: a tiramisu soaked in whisky, with a scent of smoking wood and a pipe. It’s an extract with strong personality, shouting ‘Here I am’, ideal for autumn, winter or crisp days. Its trail lasts about a metre for an hour and a half, with longevity of 10 to 12 hours after six or eight applications, always releasing bursts from time to time. A different perfume to own, without a doubt. A genius creation. Warm regards from Argentina.

An extract with a lot of personality that shouts: “I’m here!”. Perfect for autumn, winter, or cool days. Its projection is one metre for an hour and a half. It is friendly and addictive, ideal for special occasions and, in my opinion, for fresher rather than hotter climates. Along with the perfume, I received a sample of the upcoming launch of Nina, Status Quo. All their work is impeccable and superior. Highly recommended; their perfumes are essential for any collector.
Of all the fragrances I own, I often thought none surpassed the others… until I met Maffia. Yesterday I received this extract and barely tested it, and everything I thought about the others faded into the background. For me, Maffia is pure elegance and the love, work, and effort of its creator. It is exquisite, I adore it, and as people say below (and I agree 100%), it is a work of art. In Argentina, we are proud to have great references in everything: sport, music, medicine, art. Let the award Nina won last year be the start for her to become a world legend in perfumery. It smells very similar to Borouj’s Perlador, although some notes differ, much like with Boss Bottled Absolu.
An absolute beast. The promised notes are exactly what you smell, and they do so with an intensity that leaves you breathless. Upon trying it, my reaction was instant: “I have to have this, I need it in my life!”. It’s not about collecting rare bottles, but because I discovered a scent that conquered me, and in seconds I wanted to become that aroma. I recommend it 100%. It’s one of those fragrances perfume lovers search for: the one that leaves you speechless and surprises you in the best way possible.
