  • I address whoever wrote just below: on this page there is space for everyone, for those who can buy niche, designer, or famous perfumes. If brand or Shakira perfumes weren’t worth reviewing, they wouldn’t be here. Not because a perfume is more economical or not by a designer means it is bad. I have heard and had really bad designer perfumes, and very good and other bad famous perfumes. For that person, let me tell you that you have a quite discriminatory and snobbish social concept. This page is not for those people; it is for fragrance lovers who accept that not everyone has the purchasing power to buy Hugo Boss, Armani, or Creed.

  • I’ve never been a fan of Alejandro Sanz, but this perfume has taken me by surprise. It’s been on my wrist for about six hours and it’s still throwing down. It has a lot in common with Halloween’s Man X, except here that coffee note which defines the other is missing. For the price, it’s madness what you get; it’s sweet and very amber-heavy, with that classic touch of amber that remains original. I’d give it between 7 and 10 points.

  • I tried it a few months ago at Mercadona and it gave me even a hint of dizziness. An infectious brew, it’s as if they had bottled the sound of a cat sharpening its claws on a blackboard while your mouth is flooded with an indescribable and cloying fruity, acidic, rusty, and vinegary smell. Like drinking a bucket of mop water in which the Smurfs Makinkers, the gremlins, the Son Gokus, and the goblins of the mountain had vomited after getting intoxicated all night with helium balloons filled with Ambipur for cars and Peta Zetas breaded in fried pineapple juice and Bubbaloo gumdrops.

  • I have never liked Alejandro Sanz, but I must admit he has surprised me with this perfume. I have had it on my wrist for around 6 hours and it still projects a lot. I have Halloween Man X and can say they share much similarity, only that the Alejandro Sanz one doesn’t have that predominant coffee note. The truth is that for the price we can get something quite different from what can be got for that price. The fragrance is sweet, stuck to the amber; it has that very clichéd amber note, but it doesn’t stop being very original. I give it a 7-10.

I went to Suburbia, it’s a quite economical perfume, if I remember correctly it was under 500. It resembles all the supposed Creed Aventus clones; of all of them, the first I remember was Rich Leather from Zara, the sweet ones were quite similar, and I hope to buy it soon because I liked it more than that.

  • Absolutely nothing like Spartacus said. Sometimes you just like or dislike a perfume, but he certainly had a bad day and took it out on it. The scent is rich and sweet, not innovative at all, but far from disgusting.

  • Gastonhee

I share nothing with the first message by a certain Spartacus. A fragrance can be liked or not, but surely he had a bad day and downloaded it with a perfume. The perfume is rich, sweet, nothing innovative, but not to say it’s disgusting.

It was a gift and I was surprised by the scent; to my taste it is completely nocturnal. One Saturday night I went out with friends and wore this fragrance. Days later I saw a friend who had been there and she told me: “On Sunday I smelled your perfume in my car, and that’s even though I only hugged you… very rich”. I was surprised by the comment, which they don’t make with more expensive fragrances. Separate point, I sense an undeclared note of coconut that makes me like the scent even more.

  • pathypooh

A truly exquisite youthful masculine fragrance. The pineapple comes across fresh yet sweet, while the cardamom and suede add a velvety, dark, and sexy touch. I was hugely surprised. It’s economical with excellent packaging. Very well made.

A truly exquisite scent, masculine and youthful. The pineapple comes out fresh but sweet. The cardamom and suede make it velvety, dark, and sexy. I was totally surprised. Economical and with excellent packaging. Very well made.

There are many people on this site who let themselves be led by brands and prices, detesting what is economical. I have countless cheap fragrances I cannot review because they aren’t on Fragrantica, but they have nothing to envy those that cost triple the price. This smells very good for what you pay; in Spain you can get it for less than €9. It doesn’t smell natural nor does it present anything new, but it smells good and performs more than enough. We must have respect for those who cannot buy expensive perfumes or simply collect everything, like me. If you don’t like something, describe it differently, but always with respect. Best regards.

There are many people here who only follow brands and prices, dismissing affordable options. I have countless cheap fragrances I cannot review because they aren’t on Fragrantica, yet they have nothing to envy from others that cost three times as much. This smells very good for what you pay; in Spain, you can get it for under €9. It doesn’t smell particularly natural or bring anything new, but it lasts more than enough. We must show respect to those who cannot afford expensive perfumes or collect everything, just like me. If you dislike something, describe it differently, but always with respect. Cheers!

  • “DNA of one of the Le Male flankers”. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. I heard about it from reviewers and bought it blind. The opening is as described: pineapple, cardamom, and apple. It lasts a few minutes, then in the heart phase the tonka bean (of JPG quality) takes over and stays until the end, accompanied by juniper and an undeclared praline that makes it quite sweet, similar to JPG. The dry down loosens up in the mid-notes, with the first to be felt being the moss, giving a smoky tone. Then comes the suede, amber, and an undeclared black vanilla that is noticeable (just like in JPG) and lasts until bath time, giving it that “sugary” character. Acceptable longevity (6-8 hours) and projection of 2-3 hours with presence. A gourmand. Its weak point is versatility; after 15-20 minutes, that sweetness limits its use (it would be a crime for sports, temperatures above 20 degrees, or enclosed spaces). A very good alternative without emptying your wallet. Hard to find a quality gourmand this accessible. Excellent choice. Notes: don’t buy blind, test on skin and paper first. Like JPG, some will love it and others will reject it outright. Scent: 7, Quality: 8, Longevity: 6, Projection: 8, Versatility: 3.

  • A DNA of one of the Le Male flankers. It has truly surprised me. I discovered it through reviews and bought it blind. The opening is exactly as described: pineapple, cardamom and apple… It lasts only a couple of minutes before the tonka bean (of JPG quality) kicks in to stay until the end, accompanied by an undisclosed juniper and praline that give it a sweetness similar to JPG. In the dry down, the notes open up and the moss adds that smoky tone first, followed by suede, amber and an undisclosed black vanilla that lingers until bath time, giving it that “sweet” character. Lasting power is acceptable (6 to 8 hours) with a projection of 2 to 3 hours with presence. It is a gourmand. Its weak point is versatility; after 15-20 minutes, that intense sweetness limits its use (it would be a crime for sport, heat or enclosed spaces). A very good alternative without emptying your wallet. It is difficult to find a quality gourmand so accessible. Excellent choice. Notes: – Not for blind buying, test on skin and paper first. – Like the JPG Le Male, some will love it while others will reject it entirely. Scent: 7 / Quality: 8 / Longevity: 6 / Projection: 8 / Versatility: 3

  • What a wonderful scent! It’s soft, nothing like the Ultra Male; it feels like a blend of the classic Le Male, less vanilla-heavy, with a touch of Le Male Le Beau. But very, very soft. Smells like talcum powder and slightly sweet, totally unisex. Ideal for mild climates; I don’t think it would work in intense heat. Give it a try, it’s brilliant.

  • After a few days, I can confirm it has a resemblance to Kenzo Homme Night. It’s good and a fair price. If you like a soft, pleasant, and romantic aroma, this is your fragrance; it’s well worth it.

  • Mi Acorde has a synthetic fruity opening, highlighting the pineapple; I don’t notice the apple alone. Then cardamomo appears, it warms up and sweetens with tonka and amber. It has a minimal herbal touch. It’s not cloying, it’s a soft sweetness (the opening is potent). Ideal for autumn, winter, and perhaps spring; I wouldn’t use it above 25°C. It lasts 5-6 hours, acceptable for the price. The projection is scarce but there is something. It pleases and you’ll surely get compliments. Despite being cheap, it’s not mass-produced. Ideal for dates or intimate situations. I see it as youthful, for 20 and above. In conclusion, you lose nothing by trying it blind; for the price, it delivers without more. As one user said, it’s honest. Recommended.

  • After trying it, I love its sweet and soapy scent, and the price is excellent. Although it stays close to the skin from the start, for €7.95 it’s very honest. It’s pleasant and doesn’t invade, perfect for the cinema or home. You won’t overwhelm anyone and will cause curiosity; if there’s rapport, people will come closer. Ideal for intimate situations.

  • Spectacular. The downside is that it stays close to the skin, although you can tell how long it lasts, about 4-6 hours. At first it’s tropical fruity, then it becomes woody and amber, very sweet and rich on the skin. The worst is that it doesn’t project further; the best thing is the price.

  • Pablojr921

A brilliant fragrance for the price and what it offers. It outperforms the generic market. It reminds me of my father’s Armani Code. It has an undeclared coconut note that gives it a clean creaminess. The sweet amber base is ideal for cold weather and evenings. Highly recommended.

  • It caught me off guard; it smells high-end. The longevity and trail are moderate, but for the price… what a fantastic fragrance.

  • pache1107

For Argentinians, it smells exactly like merengado biscuits. It wasn’t surprising, although there are better options available.

  • Cheap and exquisite. I’m already on my second bottle. It smells distinctive, sweet, and dark, with a soapy and citrusy note at the start. I’ve received many compliments. I compared it to Givenchy Gentleman and they are similar, but this is more mature and sweet. I still prefer Mi Acorde. Recommended.

  • For the price, it’s a beast in its category. It starts citrusy but fades quickly; then it wraps you in warmth. It’s the cheapest and simplest way to find something fruity without going overboard, with good longevity on clothes thanks to the tonka bean.

  • FaustinoAtino

I tried the fragrance without reading the notes and at first I smelled mango, sweet and ripe. After reading the notes, I knew how to separate the pineapple, apple, and cardamomo. It seemed it would be a projection bomb, but no. In less than a minute, that fake mango (pineapple + apple) goes away and a smell like spicy coconut sunscreen appears. Again, there’s no coconut on the list; it must be the tonka bean with juniper creating that effect. When it dries, as they say, it amberises and you notice a soft, sweet suede-like leather. Well balanced, the sweet and leather create an effect of warm, soft skin that invites a caress. On me it lasts 12 hours on skin and up to 24 hours on clothes. I’ve smelled it on women, so I classify it as unisex. It’s very seductive, or at least girls like it a lot, so much that they use it themselves. Anecdote: when I bought it, I atomised the tester and when paying, the shop assistant gave me puppy eyes; I was twice her age. Another day at work, I wore a Sunday jumper and the female sector of my office noticed the change from a spray that fell. For the better. I use something very ‘grey’ for the office. Great buy for 9€. Presentation is very good, very giftable. I recommend it if you want them to think you smell like something fuckable. If you don’t wet the churro, it’s not the perfume’s fault nor Alejandro Sanz’s, it’s because you’re an idiot.

  • I was gifted this low-cost perfume by Alejandro Sanz, which I had never heard of, but wow… The important thing: after the pure alcohol evaporates, the notes come out well differentiated (that’s good): ripe pineapple with apple and harsh spices. Then it takes a medicinal, sweet, and slightly resinous path. I perceive soft woods that attenuate the sweetness and then a creamy moss that closes it. There’s a very good cardamomo amidst all that resin. It follows current trends without more, but it’s very accessible and has a certain depth. You can’t ask for more.

  • It’s delicious. If it had more longevity and projection, it would be a masterpiece. The first time I bought it in 2021 it was better; I bought it again in 2023 and it seems more watery. You can tell it has been reformulated; it no longer lasts or projects the same.

  • The Wind Waker

Very good perfume by Ale Sanz, economical and with an excellent aroma. In a video they say it smells like Christmas and they might be right; it’s warm but not suffocating. I bought it on impulse, lasts about 4-5 hours, feels strong for the first hour and if you’re generous, half an hour more. Afterwards it accompanies you in waves and then fades away and dies. It was super cheap, you can’t ask for more.

  • 111maxi22

If this lasted, it would be in my top 5 perfumes, but the longevity is practically a sigh, a detail that cannot be forgiven.

  • To be honest, this perfume is for keeping in the car to save yourself from an embarrassing situation due to not having put on deodorant. A few quick sprays and you’re sorted to get rid of the bad smell. In itself, it smells good, quite sweet. I don’t detect pineapple or apple; it’s a synthetic sweetness that doesn’t disgust me. I have a very sensitive nose to tobacco and I notice the tonka bean a lot when it dries. For the price, it’s fine, but I wouldn’t include it in my main collection.

  • When I first tried it, I loved it. Now I only use it to finish the bottle because it’s very cloying and has never complimented me. It doesn’t last at all and goes unnoticed.

  • Luis Marizcal

Although cheap is nice, this fragrance doesn’t convince me. It’s not bad, but it smells very simple and generic, nothing special in either scent or longevity. At best, it projects for an hour, nothing more. That’s my personal experience.

  • Review of Alejandro Sanz’s Mi Acorde Él: Caught me by surprise, but in a good way. It’s one of those budget perfumes that really stick. At first, the cardamomo takes over with a fruity touch (I think pineapple), then it blends into middle and base notes I can’t quite identify, perhaps moss. What stands out most is that cardamomo, which is delicious. Projection is average, lasting about four hours. It’s pleasant, versatile, and suitable for everything, but I wouldn’t recommend it for night due to poor longevity. It hits the three B’s: good, beautiful, and cheap. In short, it smells like rich cardamomo, it’s economical, and works for any occasion, preferably in intermediate seasons.

  • Actually, for how cheap it is, it smells absolutely fantastic. It’s very attractive, and if your budget is tight, it’s a choice that never fails.
