1 Million Lucky by Rabanne is a woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by perfumer Natalie Gracia-Cetto. Upon release, it unfolds with plum, ozonic notes, grapefruit and bergamot; the heart reveals hazelnut, honey, cedar, cashmere wood, orange blossom and jasmine; while the base settles on amberwood, patchouli, vetiver and oakmoss.

Call me crazy, but it smells exactly like JPG Scandal for women to me. It’s a very similar sweet, but this one smells about 1% more masculine.

  • Barras_fragancias

Okay, when I started buying fragrances, this was one of my favourites; however, now that I’ve used it quite a bit, I couldn’t say the same… it smells very well in its opening and dry down as well, yet I feel it’s an annoying fragrance to a certain extent, too cloying. Whenever I wear it in a place that isn’t open, I get an immediate headache, due to how extremely synthetic it is… that said, it does get compliments and many, truthfully, but I don’t usually wear it much. That’s because the claim that it’s ‘versatile’ is a scandalous lie; it’s 100% for night use and in open places; in enclosed spaces, people have even told me it’s annoying (despite only using 3 sprays). Its projection is very good, but in the sense that it’s loud, it doesn’t leave a delicate and pleasant trail; it’s more like a perfume begging for attention… in short… is it a good fragrance? Yes… is it as good as they say? No… it’s a bit overrated… Yes, I don’t think it’s the ‘best designer perfume’. 6/10.

  • I love perfumes that give a creamy sensation, even though I don’t usually wear them. The notes of honey, hazelnuts, and plums are delicious; at certain moments, they remind me of freshly baked cookies. It’s one of the perfumes that has given me the most compliments over the time I’ve used it, just like Invictus, which remains in my repertoire, and 212 Heroes. Anecdote: a friend of my father approached me directly to compliment my perfume, and while smoking a cigarette with her, we commented that it mixed very well with tobacco. If you have the chance to try it, do so. Women of all ages seem to like it very much.

  • I have a decant, it’s nice, sweet, and creamy. By the end of the dry down, a very masculine woody note is felt, which I assume is the vetiver. I don’t detect a honey scent, perhaps I haven’t deciphered it well yet. What I can say is that in my case, it’s not worth paying the high price it sells for while discontinued; it doesn’t last me more than 4 hours, and if I’m looking for something sweet and creamy, I prefer an Invictus Victory Elixir for example.

  • I bought a decant and it’s quite nice, pleasant scent, it reminds me of popcorn, and to my surprise, it dries down to be quite more masculine; I thought it would be fairly unisex, but no, in the dry down you can already note the hint of vetiver added to a caramelised sweetness, likely from the honey and hazelnut blend. Nice but nothing that will blow your mind. Now, I didn’t find the performance great, about 4 hours on skin and medium projection; that said, I think it’s overrated and I wouldn’t pay more than the retail price.

  • I’d smell it all day without getting bored; the honey scent is delicious. A pity they discontinued it :/

  • It’s a delicious and very sweet fragrance, but not cloying. It has beastly longevity, lasting 8 hours, and for me, it projects at a noticeable distance for 4 to 3 hours. The scent is very sweet but charming; I would wear it for a date or an informal winter event. In my opinion, there are slightly better options, so I give it a 9 out of 10.

  • Yoshuacaffe

The only good thing is that they discontinued it ☹️. It smells fresh like a clear sky; half an hour later, you notice sweet honey notes, and finally, a base of nuts like cold coffee with nuts. Longevity: 8/10 (5-6 hours). Projection: 9/10, I parked the car and my mother said it smelled outside. Value for money: 9/10 (100ml for $65). Scent: 10/10, versatile, recommended for dates and if you’re young for semi-formal events. Conclusion: 8.9; if it lasted longer, I’d give it a ten 😈👻.

  • One Million Lucky review: The most magnificent, exquisite, sweet, and sexy PTM, yet youthful enough for young people (and lucky for me that I am one, haha). Incredible opening, citrusy, fruity, and fresh, with a beautiful, sweet dry down of honey, amber, and very prominent hazelnuts. It’s so lovely I only wear it for special occasions. Price? Always look for the best deal as it can be pricey. Rating: Scent 9/10, Longevity 7/10 (lasts several hours on clothes), Projection 7/10. Give it a like if you enjoyed the review!

  • Gentil vagabond

The only thing holding it back is that it smells like One Million, but if you ignore the name, it’s a masterpiece. It smells fantastic, seductive, and I guarantee you’ll receive compliments; it’s not a common scent and everyone loves it.

  • I bought it on the recommendation of internet forums (I had the original One Million and loved it). Upon receiving this, I realised it was totally different from the original One Million. A fruity scent that feels heavy (to my taste), but with which I have received many compliments. Despite it not being my favourite, I’d say it leaves one of the best scents on clothes of any fragrance in my collection.

  • I’ve had it for about 4 years and decided to smell it, and the truth is I love it; a very notable hazelnut scent but also fresh, sweet, and woody. Totally a safe blind buy, with good longevity of approximately 7 hours and projection for 3-4, but it also depends on your pH. It works excellently in warm weather, but its strength is cold. In my opinion, it’s a very versatile fragrance that smells very youthful and sweet. The only bad thing I see is that it has been discontinued, a pity; the best One Million created.

  • Imagine this in a Parfums de Marly bottle and it would be brilliant. As mentioned before, it carries the weight of being One Million, but in my opinion, it’s the best of them.

  • The best in the One Million series… nothing more to add. It’s an all-rounder, suitable for any occasion: office, going out for a drink, going to class… less so for going out to a nightclub as it’s not a beast mode fragrance, to say the least.

  • Fernando100#

This fragrance is rich, fresh, and charming. I find it well-balanced; its aquatic notes with that sweetness are not cloying like the others. In my opinion, it’s the best for summer, especially for cool nights.

  • The closest I’ve come to being able to smell this fragrance was with its Arabic clone by definition. If it resembles that, it’s quite good. From my latest searches, I see it can be bought on the Paco Rabanne website, within the exclusives. At a price of €103 for 100ml. Is it back or are they taking advantage of the hype to clear old stock at a golden price?

  • I have the 2019 batches (clear glass) and the 2021 ones (dark glass). They are exactly the same: a slightly acidic plum that gives it a sparkle, and yes, after a while it reminds me a bit of caramel popcorn. At the end of 2024, the bottle design changed. Edit: I tried the new ones from June 2025 (new ‘Rabanne’ logo), they smell the same, last well, project strongly, are sharp, and the dry-down lasts until the next day.

  • Samuel Iglesias

Love at first sniff; the perfume that has given me the most compliments. Longevity is over 7 hours, with moderate projection for about 4 or 5 hours using 8 to 10 sprays in open areas; 6 sprays in a closed room is perfect. I wouldn’t recommend it for night in temperate or cold weather, but in my opinion, it’s the best One Million.

  • El pseudo perfumista

At first, I was disappointed; I swore it didn’t last and thought it was my worst purchase, until I saw a t-shirt still impregnated with it days later. Definitely a short-range fragrance for luck, hehe, but the longevity is decent. Just the projection is low. Still, it’s a proper stinker that keeps you in an exquisite bubble, sweet woody, an 11/10.

  • Thank God, this comes out of the scent of all its Million brothers. It smells rich, moderately sweet and has charm. The last part is hard to find. If I say it’s unisex, it’s a bit more inclined to the masculine side, but if you don’t know it and you smell it on a girl, you’ll surely drool. Very suitable. A definite 10.

  • Together with the Elixir, these are the best One Million by far. It’s a pity they discontinued Lucky, it’s my favourite in the line. It lasts quite a while, 8 to 10 hours, and I get lots of compliments; it’s one of the ones that make me feel most confident. It has a very rich hazelnut scent and the perfume is sweet.

  • It was a gift from my grandfather and it’s simply the best gift they’ve ever given me. It’s about to finish but it lasted years and is still perfect. By far the best perfume I’ve ever had and my favourite by a long shot… it lasts a long time on the skin and works for all possible occasions. Sweet but not suffocating.

  • Woody cookie? If that’s what a textured cookie smells like, believe me if you have one, think of that. A cookie with a sweet plum crumbling. Well, Lucky is a great fragrance, very yielding and attractive. For me, it would even seem versatile because of that fruity-woody touch it leaves. It’s not as sweet as I thought, but well, do you know something? I’ve never been praised for this fragrance. I don’t know if I have a bad face, but I’ve never had a compliment or a comment, and even though my social circle usually gives compliments and even my girlfriend does too. In my personal case, I love the scent, but I seem to have a bit of bad luck and a bad face, I suppose. 7.6/10.

  • I just managed to get three sealed 50ml OM LUCKYs from a friend, batch from 2018, and opened one to add to the collection. IN-CRE-IBLE! Nothing to do with the One Million DNA, this is something totally different. If you’re from Argentina and want an approach to the DNA of this perfume (and at the price it’s excellently achieved), buy the Monique Black Fire Rock, I think it costs around 25k pesos (20 dollars). What I feel most is a plum with honey, quite high on the sweet side, and then the hazelnut which makes it feel like a hot dessert. Incredible, best purchase of my life and I have two more perfumes for the future.

  • I don’t know if I’ll be the only one, but this perfume smells like Christmas to me. A very pleasant, woody, fruity and slightly sweet scent. I like it a lot, super pleasant, but literally I only wear it from mid-December to early January. In my head it’s a scent associated with that date, I don’t know why, it doesn’t suit me in other situations. Performance is satisfactory.

  • Eugenio444

Well, look, it was the first one I bought from the OM line, a week ago at a department store. It’s discontinued and luckily the store brought me the last bottles they had stored in a warehouse. I had been looking specifically for this OM Lucky fragrance for years, so I hope this acquisition turns out for the best. I bought it for several reasons, but the most important is that it seemed like an original fragrance. It still has the OM DNA, but I think it’s the one that deviates most from the entire OM line and that’s what I like. I still need to test it and get to know it a bit more on my skin to give a more concrete opinion on projection, trail and longevity. I’ll let you know soon.

  • Juan Marín

I’m going to say it and I don’t read complaints: it’s the best One Million, even I don’t know why they discontinued it. I have a 1.1 replica, exactly similar to the original, and I don’t expect you to judge me because the fragrance was discontinued and I haven’t been able to get it physically; I don’t risk buying online for fear of another replica. But it does smell very similar to the original, as I have a friend who owns one and yes, I would say it smells woody, sweet, a bit warm and spicy with amber. It can be worn at any time of day in spring, autumn and winter (not summer). I say any time because it’s not showy; it smells moderately and you don’t get tired of the scent. Unfortunately, the original is no longer available, but if you find an original or a high-quality replica, smell it first and if you like it, don’t hesitate to buy it.

  • I love it! I still remember when I bought it right in the middle of winter. Since I first smelled it, I fell in love. I couldn’t stop bringing it to my nose again and again… it smells delicious! It was impossible to resist. I used it every day, accompanied me everywhere, and whenever I felt it on my skin, I would smile. It was like carrying a piece of happiness. Now, with the heat, it’s not enjoyed quite the same for daily use, but that doesn’t stop me from continuing to wear it. Sometimes I spray it into the air just to feel that scent again, which transports me back to those cold days when everything felt cozier and more special. It has become a memory, a feeling that always lifts my spirits and makes me long for that winter period.

A Sweet Pleasure That Captivates: Let’s be honest, 1 Million Lucky wraps you from the very first second with a fruity sweetness, like those ripe, juicy fruits. The ozonic and floral notes, in my opinion, fade into the background, almost like a whisper. Curiously, that blend reminds me of my old Le Male maceration, one of my first loves in perfumery. They aren’t twins in terms of power, but Lucky has its own charm and holds its own on the sweet side. Over time, the fruit mellows to reveal a very present honey note with a smoky touch, as if the sugar were caramelised. Do you get it? It’s a sexy sweetness, without being cloying or tiring the nose. Does it smell like cookies? I don’t know which ones, but if they exist, they must be delicious! To my nose, it’s more of a fruity caramel bath. In the end, the woods come in to prolong that sweetness, giving a warm and lasting base. I think it’s unisex, suitable for any age and perfect for standing out on special occasions. With its relaunch, it’s well worth buying blind. I’ve read about similar ones but haven’t tried them. In summary, 1 Million Lucky takes a 9.5/10. An unforgettable sweet pleasure.

  • I picked up a bottle of One Million Lucky (the black back one, not the old transparent one) and, although I’d already smelled it, I’m still enchanted by it. I like the sweet and addictive side; it has a special juicy, hazelnutty point that sets it apart. It’s modern, youthful, and hooks you from the first moment; you can’t stop smelling it. I do notice this recent version smells a bit more synthetic compared to the previous one, perhaps less smooth or natural on the opening, but I still like it very much and am glad to add it to my collection. A very different fragrance within the One Million line, certainly one of my favourites for autumn and winter. I give it an 8/10.

  • A perfume that enters the category of perfect, or at least gets very close. On the opening, it’s a piercing combination of plum, honey, and nuts, almost spicy. Then it settles into a pleasant honeyed aroma and afterwards seems to leave a trail of chocolate biscuits. Very good longevity, presence projection for about three hours. I’ve heard the new batch is less potent, though I haven’t confirmed it. If you can get the previous version, don’t hesitate (it’s possibly the best flanker, rivaling the Elixir).

  • I have the 2018 batch and this perfume smells like a party. It’s sweet, fun, and different. First comes hazelnut with honey and fruits, very rich, almost like an expensive dessert. Then something softer and woody appears, but the sweetness always remains. Ideal for night, going out, a date, or a get-together. It catches attention and many people will tell you you smell good.

  • I smelled this perfume in-store and, honestly, it’s rich, very rich. But it reminds me of ‘A Mi’, a lot like JPG’s Paradise Garden. What I don’t like is the atomiser, but I think I should and must buy it… although I say it seems very similar to Paradise Garden, and in that sense, the latter is better.

  • emporioblanko

Tested and very easy to analyse. It smells good, it’s not a bad perfume, but it doesn’t surprise me at all. It’s let me down compared to the hype people have around it. It’s typical sweet biscuit, not cloying, but mega overdone. It’s very similar to Azzaro Most Wanted Black, about 60% alike. The Azzaro is much better: sweet but aromatic and very wearable. It also has similarities with Invictus Parfum minus the soapy aspect. Of all the notes, I only detect honey and hazelnut, but it smells of sweet biscuits, not the declared notes. This isn’t the best One Million. The Privé is the most different and rich, with a very comfortable apple-tea note. The Parfum is good but a bit sticky if overused. The Elixir is sweet but with apple and olive, more wearable. These three are better than the Lucky. The original is better, although I used it at 17. The Royal could be better. The Lucky isn’t bad, but it’s flat and repetitive. It projects about a metre; you have to spray it 20 times to last two hours. Note: Scent 6. Smells good but unnecessary. Longevity and projection 6. A youthful, party perfume for clubs. For people under 25. I don’t understand how they put it on a pedestal. It makes me feel like I’m 17, smelling like everyone else. Tired of it already. I used it again, fresh for the first 10 minutes, then super flat and biscuity. I’ve sold it, it’s out. If anyone wants it, let’s talk.

  • It will always be my favourite. I’ve had it since 2019 and although I’m running low, I still love smelling it from the bottle. It’s an addictive scent; women love it. I’ll try to get another one.

  • I just tried it in-store, the new batch… What a disappointment. It smells like something you could get from Mercadona. Cashmere, wood, and ozonic notes dominate, all sweetened with honey and a hint of hazelnut. It’s half fresh, half sweet, synthetic, and absolutely unmemorable. Generic and heavily copied by cheap perfumes.

  • I tried the new batch on Druni and, honestly, it’s much sweeter and more scandalous than before. It seems they’ve reformulated it, just like with Black XS. It’s not the one I remember. Perhaps it’s because there are already several very similar ones with honey or hazelnut gourmand notes.

  • metroidsoldier

One Million Lucky smells like sweet gold, a blend of honey, hazelnuts, plums, and an ozonic touch. Ideal for any occasion.

  • Lapalmaisland

Sure, you’ve probably seen the other message. No buying or selling is allowed here; that’s for the forum. Just in case, this perfume is back on Druni for €54. I repeat: this isn’t a place to buy or sell.
