  • They removed the cinnamon and leather from the original and boosted the mandarin. On the first spray, it smells too citrusy and stays there. It’s more for summer; it doesn’t remind me of the original, but personally I don’t like it. I find it too basic to be such a successful flanker. The longevity is low, a maximum of about five hours.

  • You can tell it’s a One Million flanker. Pleasant aroma, fruity at first, I’d say unisex, and as it dries down there’s some woody trace, but it doesn’t make it very masculine. I was surprised it’s not very projecting like its siblings, though it’s easy to wear. Eleven out of ten people will like it. Total blind buy, especially if you’re between 20 and 35 years old.

  • The repetitive One Million flankers are already tiring me out. They’re practically the same in another bottle, just changing one or two notes. The only ones that surprised me were the Parfum and Royal versions. Flankers should add something interesting. This is a boring launch without a joke. A generic scent you forget. It’s the One Million with tropical air freshener notes like mango and passion fruit, as in Le Beau or some Invictus and Phantom flankers. I also detect woody notes giving it an old-man touch. It’s a strange chimera, perhaps for young people due to the trendy sweet and fruity notes, or for those wanting to look elegant like ‘Bustamante Muy Mío’ and ending up in no man’s land. It’s as if the most pretentious kid tried to pick up in a club full of teenagers.

  • Forget that 100ml costs nearly an endodontia. The scent is a semi-chic woody aroma, more artificial than Berrocal’s breasts. Seriously, the One Millions have always been a bit ‘meh’, but this one has no charm. It sounds like the bosses said: ‘let’s make a One Million for the loyalists who have matured and want something more adult’. Until you smell it. Anyway, one of those unnecessary flankers. If it was ever necessary, that’s where the trend of cloying synthetic sweet perfumes began.

  • I came across this novelty yesterday and decided to take a risk on my skin. I was pleasantly surprised. I noted a fruity opening (I even thought it was feminine) that turns spicy and smoky in 3-5 minutes. I don’t find strong reminiscences of the original (of which I used many bottles until I got tired), nor excessively chic notes. I perceive it as mature, nocturnal, and elegant. The spice combination is good, and on my skin, I perceive it as superior quality to the original.

  • The best in the line, stepping out of the classic DNA of its predecessors. It’s fresher, keeping that chic and spicy vibe but more versatile thanks to the mandarin, cedar, and sandalwood. It delivers a delightful mentholated nuance reminiscent of classic Le Male and a touch of 212 Sexy Men. Quite striking, rich, and sensual.

  • It’s okay but lacks innovation; sandalwood dominates and it smells like other PUIG fragrances. Would I buy it? No, there are better options.

  • I tried it on my skin in-store yesterday. I can’t give many references, but I liked it quite a lot. It reminded me a lot of a perfume I owned and miss, now discontinued: Gentleman Only Intense by Givenchy. If anyone owned it, would they find it similar? Best regards.

  • A good fragrance; I do not understand how all the comments here are positive and it only has a meagre 3.36 rating.

  • RicardoPowa123

I do not understand how they say it is similar to Santal 33 and others to Paradise Garden, as these fragrances are not alike at all 😅🥲

  • I like it very much. A girl can wear it too. It feels floral-herbal. It opens with jasmine and laurel, initially very similar to Le Beau Paradise Garden, but after a few minutes they differ quite a bit. The Million moves towards a sweet sandalwood with a slightly vanilla floral heart. It is a kind perfume, neither projecting nor beastly. But you feel like smelling it all the time.

  • Reminds me a lot of a classic like Burberry Touch, with good longevity and projection on par with the One Million. As for the scent, it is a sweet and rich part, but another gives a sweaty sensation; I do not recommend buying it blind.

  • oliverochoa

Sounds just like Santal 33 and who would deny it? Where have I heard it before? It adds nothing new.

  • After trying it with all its flankers, it is very similar to the discontinued 1 Million Intense, with the only difference being that Intense has a rose while this one does not, but rather more wood. The scent is good, although in performance Intense takes the crown; this Million Gold barely reaches six hours. On the other hand, it has nothing to do with Paradise Garden; I do not know how they can compare it to that aroma, and with Santal 33 it might have something, but it is quite distant.

  • Rabanne’s Million Gold arrives as another flanker to the family of golden bars. If One Million was the gift for the teenager just discovering the world of fragrances, Million Gold seems aimed at someone who has grown a little, without losing the commercial and easy-to-please spirit of the line. Here, the notes lose the vibrant explosive sweetness of the original and become warmer and more mature, yet without risks. Instead of that sharp mint and grapefruit opening, it opts for a softer, more restrained approach, with a woody and amber profile that leaves the youthful spices to make way for a more enveloping and earthy structure. Amber and woods predominate, and although there is still a touch of sweetness (it is Rabanne, after all), the overall impression is more neutral and less playful. Who is it for? Perhaps for someone who has been with One Million for a while and wants something similar, but not so invasive or bright. Million Gold does not have the same youthful energy, nor is it particularly refined. It stays at that middle ground, perfect for gifting to someone who has passed thirty, who still enjoys striking fragrances but prefers something more discreet in their maturity. A success? Well, at least the bottle will please the person you gift it to.

Brilliant! It lasts a long time on skin and clothes. Undoubtedly, a fragrance for the night and the cold.

  • I tried it by chance without knowing it existed, and upon smelling it, I thought: ‘It smells like a typical Quentin Bisch’. Indeed, it has that unmistakable touch of the perfumer. It’s woody, leaving me a faint memory of Lucky with a honeyed note that makes it very different from the original One Million line. Very pleasant, brutal performance, I wouldn’t take it off. It fell on my jacket and the next day, without remembering I was wearing it, it was still giving powerful bursts. I can’t comment on the similarity to Santal 33 because I’ve never tried it, but I recommend trying it because it’s novel in the line (within the commercial/young demographic) and reminds me of Lucky without being the same.

Million Gold demonstrates its quality from less to more, and it certainly surpasses its predecessor, Royal, which was an aromatic bomb.

  • Million Gold from Rabanne balances freshness and depth with great elegance. The mandarin opening is citrusy and refreshing, ideal for autumn, and then cedar and sandalwood take over with a warm woody trail. Its longevity is top-notch, hours on the skin and more on clothes, versatile for almost everything, though it can be intense in the heat. In summary, a thoughtfully blended mix of citrus and wood that leaves a mark without annoying.

  • Truth be told, my favourite in the One Million range along with the Eau de Parfum version; a sweet, warm, and exquisite aroma.

  • charlotinable

What a pity this fine Exquitez left me; it smells and screams total luxury. A mystical, magical, ancestral sandalwood with a unique elegance belonging to its star note, which shines splendidly. The cedar gives it character and strength, plus spices with a just and balanced sweetness. I want it, I’m going for it; it has left me enamoured. I, who love sandalwood for its powerful and sensual mysticism; a divine fragrance, great craftsmanship, and that is appreciated. It reminds me greatly of Santal 33, Le Male, and a little of Ultra Male. Beautiful, delicious.

  • 1 Million Gold is an aromatic, woody, and spicy fragrance. Its opening is fresh and aromatic, with citrus and an ozonic note, as if carrying violet leaves, which adds appeal. Over time, the spice aroma increases and a very pleasant sandalwood accord comes through, maintaining itself until the end. This version of 1 Million is more aromatic and fresh than previous launches, therefore more versatile; it could be used in all four seasons except extreme heat. Its aroma suits casual or formal situations, parties, work, or school. Its longevity was eight hours with me, but I will use it again because I liked its aroma very much and will update the time if it improves. The trail is regular. I can’t say it’s the best 1 Million version in recent years, as it’s subjective, but it is the one I’ve liked most since 1 Million Prive was launched, to the point where I’m seriously thinking of buying a bottle.

  • It might be a different beast; it smells like a fragrance for an empowered person or a boss. Its trail is potent, but not the kind that annoys you. It smells like a forest on a good weekday. Honestly, I liked the direction Paco Rabanne took with this version. Its longevity is excellent, over six hours. It’s not for the young.

  • Fuentesrosales

It smells like a luxury hotel in the middle of the jungle, ideal if you like sandalwood. To me, it seems very fresh and relaxing; my wife only likes this one and the original. After weeks of use, I say it doesn’t last more than four hours.

  • I’m not going to bore you with a long, flowery review. I picked this up with some scepticism, being a Rabanne and from the One Million line, which didn’t start well. For me, it’s a life-saver that works: a deflated mandarin, neither too sweet nor too sour, with woods that turn creamy as the spices soften, very balanced. Ideal for a young adult, over 30. Projection is low to moderate, a personal bubble for about two hours, then skin-scent until the sixth hour, fading away by eight. I’ll see how it evolves over time. I’m giving it a chance; don’t trust the notes, I think it’s undervalued and penalised for not innovating (but come on, designer perfumery is like that, same perfumers, same scents). It’s rich, creamy, luminous, pleasant, attractive, perfect for compliments. 8.5 out of 10.

  • I tried this perfume yesterday and it definitely smells like Santal 33, projects and lasts a lot, 10/10 in that aspect. As for the scent, I give it a 4/10 for being nothing innovative

  • Gian Arévalo

Good perfume… Firstly, it has all the sweet base and DNA of the 1 Million, then quite a bit of sandalwood that reminds you even of niches, but it’s the fixative accord QB uses in most of his creations. It performs well, projects aggressively for two hours and then lasts until you shower; even after exfoliating the skin it lingers… I like it, but if I look for the negative, it’s that although it’s very different from the line, it doesn’t break from its origin, a typical designer scent that anyone who knows (surely many) will immediately ask if you’re wearing a PR. Ideal to be your signature in autumn and winter

  • Well, it’s my take after a blind test, so I might not be right, but this 1 M Gold EDP moves away quite a bit from the potent sweets that preceded it, making it more serious and mystical, as @Charlotinable correctly noted below. Mystical due to that smoky sandalwood incense touch and intense spices without being aggressive. The opening is a mature mandarin citrus and the overall scent is woody, citrusy, and spiced, with a certain oriental sheen of incense and smoke. It has nothing to do with the others; it stands out with its fresh yet smoky incense and wood vibe. It’s youthful too, but not partying or overly complex; it does show an intense spicy facet just like the wood and incense. Without a doubt, it’s something new in the line; perhaps not potent or conquering, indeed, I’d dare say it seems like an old-school feminine powder. Woody, floral, spiced, incense, vanilla. Not for me

  • Despuesdel8

I like this perfume; I got a sample with some I bought and it surprised me for the better. I expected something similar to the rest of the One Millions, and to my surprise, not a bit. There’s something like a wooden floor with wax, but in a good way. My girlfriend wasn’t crazy about it, she said it was okay; I like it quite a bit. It could be used from the office to elegant situations. Not for a club, it’s a 7.8 out of 10

  • This is like if Santal 33 and Le Beau Paradise Garden had a child; I love it. It’s like a sweeter Santal 33

  • In my opinion, this perfume breaks from the classic. The opening is strong and a bit aggressive, but once it dries down it becomes pleasant and softer. It’s a bit floral, to the point my wife said it seemed feminine and would suit her better, and she’s right; I tried it on her and it looks great. Frankly, I’ll use it very little and only in fresh times; most likely I’ll gift it to my wife

  • Felipe Ignacio Flame

I think it’s quite good despite all the hate thrown at Paco Rabanne. With two sprays, the longevity is brutal, and if sprayed on clothes, it lasts for weeks, even after washes. I like that mandarin note, one I appreciate greatly and believe is undervalued. Better try it yourselves because tastes are subjective

  • Of late, here in Mexico, Santal 33 has had too much hype due to a song and seems very overhyped. I’ve heard it on the street many times. Million Gold is a good alternative: a very similar DNA but with something different that makes it stand out. It’s like a sweeter, creamier, spicier Santal 33. I loved that strong, dry mandarin note in the opening that gives it body and makes it feel a bit more wintery, though it works perfectly for mild days too

  • Oh my goodness, what a fragrance… it smells like a movie. On clothes and paper you detect sandalwood and mandarin, but on my skin it turns spicy. Totally worth it
