This One Million smells of oud, leather, and wood, with a potent scent typical of its Arab origins.
It’s like The Blazing Mr Sam and Halfeti from Penhaligon’s with added sweet steroids, as if they’d been given a jar of caramel. A more wearable, youthful, woody, warm, and super resinous take. In the dry down, sweet sandalwood dominates with leather and nutmeg. It leans towards evening wear, but I love using it on fresh days.
A darker version; in the dry down it smells of coffee, dark chocolate, honey, and a tamed oud paired with a patchouli reminiscent of Man in Black, Tuxedo, and similar scents. Interesting for being a One Million.
Holy cow, this is brilliant! Weather Kid with the DNA of One Million. For people over 25 if they can get their hands on it. Alongside Parfum and Prive, it’s undoubtedly the best in the line.
It’s a very olfactically pleasing perfume. It differs from the One Million; if you’re looking for another one, this isn’t the option. It’s not extremely distinct: its notes are leather, black pepper, saffron, and patchouli. I don’t detect oud; it’s spiced and warm. It’s liked, generates compliments, has good projection and intensity at the start. I have it in a tester, so my opinion may be biased. It suits formal or smart-casual occasions. Honestly, I’d wear it in both heat and cold; it’s that fragrance that’s a safe bet. The dry down smells delicious and, in my view, is much stronger there. Given that it’s Rabanne’s bet for the Middle East, it’s not as Western as their other fragrances, nor is it the most Oriental. It could be a missing link between both hemispheres.
