  • Hello La Dame de Noir, I registered after reading your comment. I know Revival, so fashionable in the 80s, with that greenish-blue colour the brand seemed to be Louis Philippe, as was Clio. I’ve seen these colognes but they don’t appeal to me, and it’s strange because Victorio & Lucchino make very good perfumes.

  • I loved it, fresh and very clean without falling into the typical shrill citrus, very green, perfect for summer.

Well, to be honest, very good. A delightful lotion with reminiscences of classic Nivea cream, hand cream, body milk, and toiletries; the scent of classic feminine hygiene turned into a cologne. The smell of mother. It opens with a lovely iris note, a very pleasant aquatic lily, soon joined by a citrus note with a caramel-like aftertaste, I suppose from the clash of pear with the citrus. My favourite phase is when the lily, which doesn’t quite fade, clashes with the ivy, a note I love and which is rarely used for no reason; here it has more bergamot than ivy. I found this No. 3 amusing; my sister had it and I tried it without expecting much. It’s an EDT that moves between something comfortable, sometimes aquatic or ozonic, sometimes talc-like, creamy, lactonic and sweet, but also transparent. It doesn’t smell synthetic because it shines just like the cross between a classic Sanex or Nivea body milk and those ozonic, clean fragrances from the mid-nineties. In the end, an undefined aroma prevails where nothing stands out; I visualise a blue tin of Nivea cream in the fridge, because it has something of talc and fresh at the same time. We know Victorio & Lucchino are in decline, their brand is non-existent, and the days of competent colognes like Carmen or Abril are long gone. Also, this line of light waters has a poor finish with knock-down sprayers, and so it is given the state of the brand and the prices. But it would be unfair not to rate this No. 3 properly; it seemed a pretty and easygoing EDT that will please women who enjoy light and simple fragrances; this one delivers what it promises. PS: Poor sillage, regular longevity, maybe it grips better if applied on clothes. PS: In the Glow JLo vibe and similar perfumes based on creamy, cold musks with memories of body care and showers.

What a lovely composition of ivy and iris, ideal for spring. It’s a pity the longevity and sillage are so scarce. Still, I recommend it for a country walk or to smell divine after a shower. I’d encourage the perfume house to turn up the volume on these waters, meaning improve the sillage and longevity to turn these colognes into proper perfumes; they are very good and I think they would sell very well.

  • My friend Perfumate con JL recommended it, and honestly, it’s a real winner. It works like a perfect all-rounder for spring and summer: fresh, green, slightly aquatic, relaxing, and very pleasant. I mostly wear it at home, straight after a shower, or for morning errands. It smells like wearing a crisp white shirt on a sunny day. It has moderate sillage and lasts 4-5 hours on my skin. The price is fantastic; I might try others from the line. Rating: Scent 6.5/10, Longevity 4.5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 8/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 5/10. Would I buy it again? Maybe.

  • Victorio & Lucchino No.3 Luminous Iris is a little gem that conquered Eva and me as soon as we got home. It starts sparkling and lively, with green, wet and aquatic touches, but also floral, light and talc-like. It’s the first time I’ve smelled ivy and I’m already a fan; it smells green and wet without being like grass, more like green tea leaves, very relaxing. The iris, one of my favourite notes, is the protagonist: floral, talc-like and green, you can smell the flower and the stem. The citrus and pear create a creamy, fruity and citrusy aroma that I find delicious. The key notes are the iris, the ivy, and the mix of pear with citrus. The longevity is cologne strength, about 3 hours, with strong projection for the first hour and soft but perceptible sillage. Ideal for spring and summer in the morning, super versatile though not for long outings. It’s totally unisex, perfect for the whole family. • Victorio & Lucchino No. 3 Luminous Iris. What a wonderful cologne they’ve pulled out of the hat; the very day I got home, Eva and I fell completely in love with it. The fragrance starts sparkling, very lively. It smells green, wet and even aquatic but also floral, light and talc-like. I hadn’t heard of any perfume with the ivy note before and I declare myself a fan. It feels green and wet but doesn’t fall into the smell of grass. It reminds me more of the scent of green tea leaves, very relaxing. Iris also plays a starring role; it’s nothing like Dior or Prada; here we have a floral, talc-like but green iris; you don’t just smell the flower but also the stem. Finally, the role of the citrus and pear stands out; together they form a creamy, fruity and slightly citrusy aroma that I find delicious. In my opinion, the three main notes are iris, ivy and the pear-citrus blend. Its longevity is that of a cologne… 3 hours with projection for perhaps the first hour and a soft but perceptible trail from the start. Undoubtedly recommended for spring and summer by day, it’s a bright and luminous cologne. As for occasion, I think it’s super versatile, though due to its longevity I wouldn’t recommend it for long outings. Unisex? Totally; I’d put it in the centre of the scale. Wearable by a man, a woman and even a child, so perfect for the whole family. If you want to see more related content, visit my YouTube channel to see if you like it: Perfúmate Con JL.

  • The fragrance is brilliant. It smells of iris with green notes of ivy, very clean and without those ethyl maltol sweetnesses that are in fashion now. It has body and goes perfectly for laid-back people and informal clothes. I wear it during the day and to work, it’s pleasant and, best of all, the price. Well done. A harmonious iris.

  • The fragrance is splendid. Splendid in aroma, performance for a cologne, and price. Smells of iris with green ivy notes, giving it a clean, green character without the trendy ethyl maltol sweetness. It has body and suits someone with a carefree air and informal clothes. I also see it for day wear and work. It’s pleasant to smell and the best part: the price. A job well done. A harmonious iris.

  • A somewhat unisex fragrance, very soft and delicate, conveys a sense of cleanliness, recommended for people who don’t want to overwhelm or attract attention.

  • Perfumesjuveniles

It was a gift, smells very well but it’s an EDT with poor fixation and longevity. For me, it’s well balanced, smells fresh and floral; I love iris so it’s perfect. It’s good for post-shower or if you live in extreme heat and can’t stand a strong perfume, it’s very light. I think I’ll use it more in summer when I feel heavy or on hot, stifling days. Longevity is one or two hours and projection is very low; if it had a higher concentration, it would be my summer signature.

It was a gift, smells good but it’s an EDT, poor fixation and longevity. It’s well balanced, fresh and floral; I love the iris, so it’s perfect. It’s good for coming out of the shower or if you live in extreme heat climates and can’t stand strong perfumes, it’s very light. I’ll use it more in summer when I feel heavy or on hot, muggy days. It lasts one or two hours and the projection is low; if it had more concentration, it would be my summer signature.

  • Exquisite fragrance, fresh, cheerful and feminine. Pity it has little trail and nothing on dry skin. I bought it for my wife and I don’t even notice when she wears it.

  • It’s a rich fragrance, smells clean with lots of flowers and green notes; personally, I like it for post-shower but it’s not for everyone. I feel they’re aiming at a wider audience, so I recommend trying it before buying. It’s definitely the best in this Victorio & Lucchino line, perfect if you like fresh and very floral perfumes.

  • If you like Chanel No. 19, this is for you. An elegant, fresh eau with a beautiful iris.

Looking for a cheap summer scent that isn’t the typical hesperide? Here is number 3 from Victorio & Lucchino. It smells of mandarin, but it’s a green juice with ivy, very fresh and light. I’m a fan of iris and here it shines like a reflection in the sunlit water: crystal clear. The pear doesn’t take my fancy as much; I’m not one for strong fruity perfumes, but here it’s a San Juan pear, crisp and cheeky, which blends brilliantly with the amyris wood and amber as it dries. That dry-down is perhaps the phase I like least, not because it’s powdery but due to its sweetness, yet it’s such a transparent eau that it never becomes bothersome. It smells more unisex than feminine and is a great option for spring and summer. It has a splendid price and is my favourite from the house’s Floral Waters collection. Elegant, aquatic and… fleeting. I wish they made it with more longevity, even if it cost more, the fragrance deserves it. P.S.: Fragrantica should add Alexandra Carlin and Gregorio Sola to the perfumers list.
