  Exquisite. I tried it today, liked it, bought it, and haven’t stopped smelling it. It’s a fine, well-crafted vetiver with personality and flashes of tonka bean that ufff… It’s worth the cost. More for men over 30. It leaves an impression and breaks away from what everyone else smells.

  A delicate balance. After searching for vetiver, I found ‘the night of Megève’. The brand’s story and mystery decided the purchase. Vetiver, tobacco, coffee, tonka, and more. I imagined a powerful vetiver with warm nuances and a smoky pipe, but the first impression left me cold: no coffee with musk or the sweetness of tonka I expected, just a bitter taste. Time passed and I insisted again. It begins with a citrus breeze and dry tobacco; the vetiver is the guiding thread, offering citrus, earthy, and smoky nuances. The sweet notes arrive subtly, like a caress, in a complex harmony. It’s a path between two realities: classic and smoky, or sweet and cosy. Everything is subtle, appearing monotonous to those seeking avant-garde, but its complexity lies in subtlety and sophistication. Imperceptible nuances make a fulfilling yet discreet perfume truly great. Good longevity, moderate projection, all thoughtfully considered. Elegant, intimate, and cosy. Does the experience justify the price? It depends. Probably I wouldn’t have bought it without trying it first. Sometimes taking a risk is good. PS: many compare it to Encre Noire and D&G Pour Homme.

  Eight & Bob Nuit de Megève: I finished my first bottle two years ago and was fascinated by the balance, longevity, and projection. I’m a vetiver fan, and here it is unique and well-balanced. The fresh grapefruit, petit grain, and cloves soften the vetiver so it isn’t as earthy as Encre Noir. The tobacco and coffee add weight and complexity, setting it apart from Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver. This balance aids projection and longevity. I applied four sprays at 8 am and can still detect it at 5 pm. I already have a second bottle and it could become my signature. Age: 30+, 100% masculine. Scent: 8.8/10. Sprays: 5-6. Longevity: 9/10 (10h). Sillage: 8/10. Projection: 8/10. Versatility: 8.5/10. Value for money: 8/10. Final score: 8.38/10. Thanks.

  Neither tobacco nor vetiver as claimed. It smells like Uomo Signature by Ferragamo, but less sweet and at triple the price. If you want real vetiver, go for Guerlain or Encre Noire; if you want tobacco, try Havana or Polo Green. These aren’t trifles. After years smelling niche scents, they only sell brand, packaging, and marketing. Very few niches have any charm.

  A classic barbershop opening, but dry and vetiver-focused; on my skin it smells too much like Encre Noire. Masculine, for adults who appreciate 1950s perfumery. Sillage and projection are very subtle, and the price doesn’t justify what it offers; it’s not a niche fragrance. Try it and let it dry properly before buying.

  Agree with OdiseoBcn: this is a barbershop scent with vetiver as the star, green, dark, and highly aromatic, reminiscent of Russian Leather by Memo Paris. Its evolution is linear and it lasts quite a while on my skin. Ideal for those seeking a reformulated retro fragrance with a masculine character and a decisive identity. Original like Egypt, but suitable for everything except extreme heat. The price-to-quality ratio isn’t disproportionate, although there are cheaper similar options available. Rating: 7.5/10. Tested from the Discovery Set.
