I tried it with confidence after No. 1, and now I just want to cut my hand off. The yellow flowers aren’t for me. I was blinded by the opening, but the ylang-ylang smells more like cat urine than a flower. And the worst part: it clings; it won’t come off no matter how much I wash or rub it.
It’s quite aniseed-forward, subtle, and without a huge sillage. In the dry-down, it reminds me of Burberry Her EDP with a delicious hazelnut twist. It’s versatile and suitable for any occasion. All of Annick’s fragrances have their own personality; none resemble the others.
