Arrived just recently and the name triggered my impulse buy. It’s from Amouroud, an American house with some fascinating niche lines. I started with this for that mysterious vibe of the title. Picture this: I’m unboxing it, admiring the bottle, and upon applying a drop to my wrist, my shoes stick to the floor and I launch straight into the sky. Wow! What a scent, what complexity, what quality, what darkness. I never imagined this from a USA perfume. Saffron, pepper, suede, and a touch of tobacco—it’s an electric shock straight to the brain. As it settles, very soft fruity notes and some incense emerge. The full blend sounds like a Wagnerian symphony, with cannon blasts and violins. It’s brutal. Scent 9.5/10, Trail 9/10, Projection 9/10, Longevity 8/10. A little gem worth discovering.
The leather mixed with fruity notes gives a sensation of cleanliness and elegance at the same time. I would definitely wear it with a suit, though it is a different kind of scent. 9/10

I tried it on my skin and it didn’t convince me; it smells like the tip of a pencil, and I can’t see myself wearing that scent.
An American reviewer said this could be a vampire’s signature scent due to its sophistication and allure, and I agree. The composition works by uniting the darkness of Laos oud, softened by the warmth of tobacco-amber and enriched with a sweet point of spiced fruits, nothing gourmand; that fusion creates an intriguing and seductive smell, perfect for the night and cold weather. Longevity is around 6-8 hours. The projection isn’t a beast, but moderate, yet it invites intimacy, meaning the scent draws people in to smell it more closely. The only drawback is that I’m not sure if it’s discontinued, but it’s already hard to find in Chile.
A US reviewer said this smells like a vampire due to its class and hook, and honestly, I agree. The blend works: the darkness of the Laos oud is soothed by the tobacco-amber and gains sweetness from the spices without becoming gourmand. It’s intriguing and seductive, perfect for night or cold weather. It lasts about 6-8 hours; it’s not a beast in projection but is intimate, making you want to lean in to smell it. The only drawback is I’m not sure if they’ve stopped selling it; here in Chile it’s already hard to find.
