Marine, complex, sophisticated, and elegant. It begins spiced with bitter citrus, ginger, and cardamom. As it dries down, an amber base with woods emerges, making the experience pleasant. After an hour, in the development phase, it becomes a delight with earthy notes of patchouli, vetiver, and that salty touch. It’s not like Acqua di Gio or Acqua di Sale; it has something distinct, a creamy and talc-like sensation with immense depth. From the White Woods collection, it’s one of my favourites. It’s versatile, usable all year round except in winter. Ideal for an energy boost, completely unisex for those over 25, perfect with a white linen shirt on a spring or summer afternoon. Scent 7.5/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Projection 6.5/10, Longevity 7.5/10.

It’s a fragrance that evokes summer, super fresh and comforting. Have you ever tried grapefruit soda with salt, lemon, and lots of ice? Well, this is a living ‘Rusa’, with that fizzy sensation. The only flaw is the price, quite expensive in Mexico, and that the projection is low. Nevertheless, it’s one of the best perfumes I’ve ever tried; I’m even thinking of buying a spare bottle. 10/10

  • This scent takes you straight to the beach; the smell is incredibly interesting as it literally smells of sea rock up close, but in the air it resembles a drink called ‘Rusa’ with grapefruit soda, salt and lemon. Lasts very well on my skin for 10 hours with a projection of 3 hours after four sprays.

  • This fragrance transports you to the beach. Up close, it smells literally of marine rock, but in the air, it recalls a drink called ‘Rusa’ with grapefruit, salt, and lemon. The longevity is excellent; on my skin, it lasts 10 hours, and the projection reaches 3 hours with just four sprays.

The name says it all, but the experience is more complex. Imagine standing in a covered courtyard under a torrential downpour, with humid air that isn’t suffocating. Upon application, you detect soft citrus notes that fade quickly, giving way to an avalanche of Calone smelling of sea breeze with a floral touch. While it’s never sharp, the notes feel a little soft. Ginger and cardamom add aromatic freshness, evoking a rocky coast with vegetation and a woody base that provides acceptable depth, featuring green-herbaceous facets and a hint of oud. The good thing is it doesn’t smell of rotting algae or anything strange; it makes me feel good. Frankly, I don’t think it’s much better than some designer aquatic costing half the price.

What a particular perfume, Wet Stone; for me it’s like receiving the breeze from a rocky cliff by the sea, with a very marked mineral scent wrapped in ginger, orange and cardamom. A show that leaves you feeling incredibly fresh; it lasts between 6-7 hours but I don’t mind reapplying, it’s one of the best I’ve tried while exploring the world of perfumery.

A truly unique fragrance; although it shares notes with Oud Minerale, this is the radiant and luminous side, whereas the other is the dark one. It’s jovial, serious and has a lot of presence, certainly not ‘sweet’. If you like masculine, salty and woody perfumes, it’s an essential option!

What a particular perfume, Wet Stone. For me, it’s like receiving the breeze from a rocky cliff by the sea, where a very particular mineral scent stands out, wrapped in ginger, orange, and cardamom. It’s a spectacle; it makes you feel very fresh. The performance is 6-7 hours, but I don’t mind reapplying. It’s one of the best perfumes I’ve smelled in my discovery of the world of perfumery.

A truly unique fragrance. While it shares a path with Oud Minerale, this is like the dark side and Wet Stone the radiant, bright, and luminous one. It’s jovial, serious, and has great presence, certainly not ‘sweet’. If you like masculine, salty, and woody perfumes, this is an impermissible option.

  • A good perfume, very pleasant to wear; its scent is relaxing and gives a sense of well-being. It has moderate projection and sillage, ideal for the office; you’ll smell very good and fresh. The longevity is about six hours, which isn’t bad, although there are others in the same style that perform better. Price 7/10 (can vary, sometimes there are promotions). Scent 9/10. Projection and sillage 7/10. Longevity 7/10. Final rating 7.5/10.

  • I see who voted for a similarity with Oud Minerale and they’re right; it happened to me too. The opening smells rich and original, but the dry-down on my skin didn’t work for me: it smells like someone has just had a bath in the Dead Sea (due to the salt left on the nose) in a rather unclean area of the beach. The name fits perfectly; it’s as if you’ve run, sweated, and then bathed in a sea that’s too salty with algae, carrying that salty scent but not a clean one. Oud Minerale by Tom Ford was similar, but I think this Wet Stone is slightly more pleasant or better composed.
