I’ve just bought it and it’s an exquisite, delicate scent – a juicy bouquet of roses with a touch of soft wood, but the absolute queen is the rose leading the melody while the other ingredients provide a beautiful chorus. The boozy amber, powdery musk, and a hint of saffron give it a handmade, million-dollar luxury feel. They sold it at a bargain price and it smells incredible; it left me utterly smitten.
Full-on rose. The longevity and projection are literally another level. On the skin, it’s impossible to wash off with soap or scrub; it becomes etched in. On clothes, it becomes part of the garment itself. It smells odd, hard to explain. Love it or hate it. I think so much intensity just confuses things…
