Watani Intense, as the name suggests, is truly intense. It’s a vintage perfume, strong and dense. Sweet, spicy and warm. Unlike other Arabic perfumes, it shows all its potential from the first spray and stays the same for hours; it’s linear and a bit one-note, but without losing its punch. Given the price, the intensity and the beautiful bottle, it’s worth it, though it should be used with moderation and in cooler climates.
I agree with the previous reviewer: this is a first-class vintage perfume. That blend of notes leads me to say it lasts forever, never changing and remaining intact from the very first spray. It smells of exquisite talc, spice, and is very distinctive. I’d put ‘POWDERY’ as its top note. It’s an absolute luxury.
I’ve never experienced this with another perfume. At first, the initial spray bewildered me and I thought I wouldn’t like it, so I set it aside. But the next day I tried it again and it gradually won me over until it became addictive. It’s unique, a real luxury. I don’t feel it’s aggressive; it’s intense and I simply love it.
