It’s a good perfume if you want to smell fresh and good; I recommend it. I normally wear it during the day; it has good longevity and fixation. It’s ideal for daily use at work; more than one person will ask you what perfume you’re wearing.
It has a herbal and fresh aroma, ideal for semi-formal use on hot spring or summer days; it’s an uncommon scent that’s very easy to identify. Its longevity is around 8 to 10 hours on me and it has a good trail. It’s one of my favourites and here in Mexico it costs about $35, which doesn’t seem expensive given the good quality it has.
A good fresh and youthful perfume for everyday wear. Its longevity is weak if you live in places where temperatures exceed 30 degrees. The trail is moderate, affected by intense heat. Without a doubt, it’s an excellent option for those starting out in this world of scents.
Portfolio is a woody, fresh, and fruity fragrance. The opening is very fruity, reminiscent of Hugo Boss, but it has a distinctive note, perhaps white currant, that lingers through almost the entire development. The spices add freshness and the base is classic, though less distinctive, with good longevity and average projection with four sprays. I’m not sure yet if I’ll go for owning it, but I like it. Its use is versatile; it suits any season, day or night (though it’s better suited for daytime), at work or meetings. The price is low and worth trying; if you like it, don’t buy it. For those with modest tastes who still want to smell good.
Portfolio smells fresh, woody and fruity. It starts very fruity, reminiscent of Hugo Boss but with its own touch, perhaps due to the white currant which is noticeable throughout. The spices add freshness and the base is classic, though less distinctive. Longevity is good and projection is moderate with four sprays. I’m not sure yet if I’d buy it, but I like it. It’s versatile: suitable for any season, day or night (better for day), at work or meetings. The price is low, worth trying, and if you get hooked, buy it. Ideal for simple tastes that want to smell good.
This fragrance has a nose I love, which made me include it, even though it launched back in 2001. It has that nineties touch that fascinates me: a masculine, clean, and sexy scent. While it’s no longer as novel today, it remains excellent for everyday wear, the office, or casual outings. The opening is fruity, with green apple clearly noticeable, though slightly generic, featuring a sparkling top note. I don’t quite detect the white currant; it’s almost an ephemeral accord. A few minutes later, once it has dried, is when I truly fell in love: those floral notes combined with the potency of cardamomo transport me to my office, in front of a vast window, sitting in a black leather chair gazing at the horizon. Perhaps only I see it this way, but given how economical and undervalued it is, it’s a wonderful option for contemplation. Hours later, it softens, sitting closer to the skin, where the musk, bean, and amber really stand out. In summary, give it a try for everyday wear; spring and summer suit it well. It’s not such a well-known scent these days, but it’s recommended if you enjoy fougères with that nineties touch, which were, for me, the best. Longevity: 6 to 8 hours. Sillage: good. Price: $15 to $20.
This fragrance has a nose I love and made me add it to my collection. Launched in 2001, it has that nineties touch that fascinates me: masculine, clean, and sexy. These days it’s not as novel, but it’s still good for everyday wear, the office, or casual outings. The opening is fruity; you can tell there’s green apple, though it sounds a bit generic, with a sparkling top note. A few minutes in, as it dries down, is when I fell in love: those floral notes combined with the punch of cardamomo transport me to my office in front of a huge window, sitting in a black leather chair looking out at the horizon. Maybe only I see it that way, but for being economical and undervalued, it’s a gem to savour. Hours later, it softens, sits close to the skin, and the musk, bean, and amber stand out. In short, take note if you’re looking for something daily, ideal for spring or summer. Recommended for those who love fougères with that nineties twist. Longevity: 6 to 8 hours, good projection, price between $15 and $20.
I’ve worn this for over a decade; it’s a super easy-to-love scent, similar to CH 212 Heroes. The opening is a bit strong, but once it dries down, it becomes sweet, fruity, and soft—not too warm or super fresh. I think it’s perfect: moderate longevity matching the price and highly versatile, neither too serious nor so eccentric that it limits you to one activity. Ideal for anyone starting out in the world of perfumes.
I received this as a gift and hooked on the first spray: it’s classy and super versatile for any season. I bought it twice more until they stopped making it; now it’s a proper unicorn—you can only find it online and getting an original one in 2025 is tough. From what I’ve read, it smells very similar to Chanel Egoïste Platinum, so I might try that or a similar variant since this one is nearly impossible to track down.
