Descripción
Pure Brilliance by Celine Dion is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2010, this composition was created by perfumer Harry Fremont. The olfactory pyramid opens with top notes of pear, Granny Smith apple, freesia, and green accents; the heart reveals honeysuckle, valley lily, and lily of the valley; and the base settles on peach, musk, and woods.

I tried this fragrance and I loved it: it’s clean, fresh, soft and elegant. On my skin it smells floral and citrusy, even though it doesn’t have citrus notes. Very delicate and feminine, ideal for spring and summer. Delicious and a good price, if you’re looking for something like this, try it.
I tried this fragrance today and I truly loved it. It’s a clean, fresh, soft and elegant scent; on my skin it feels floral and citrusy, even though it doesn’t have citrus notes. Very delicate and feminine, ideal for spring and summer. Delicious, if you’re looking for something like this, give it a try, it’s a good price.
I tried it with little hope and made a face of disgust at first, not knowing what scent it was. I waited a few seconds… a delight! It smells fruity, citrusy, with lemon and peach. Very similar to Moschino’s I Love Love or the citrus notes of D&G’s Light Blue. A delight that lasts hours on the skin. Economical and with excellent longevity.
I tried it with very little hope. I made a face of disgust not knowing what scent I was being sprayed with, waited a few seconds… and simply: a delight. Fruity, citrusy, with hints of lemon and peach, very similar to Moschino’s I Love Love or the citrus notes of D&G’s Light Blue. A delight that lasts hours on my skin. Economical and with excellent longevity.
I went for something acidic and fresh, but the opening smells of pure alcohol that takes a while to fade; then a shy pear and the valley lily emerge, which I mistook for violet. It’s neither Moschino nor Light Blue, luckily I bought the small size. After an hour the pear is light and the jasmine appears, similar to Lanvin’s Mary but less soapy. I own Pear Glaze by Victoria’s Secret and this is lighter and less sweet, ideal for the heat; it holds up well in humidity and is noticeable even in the wind. At first I wasn’t convinced by the alcohol, but for unbearable heat it lasts better than other higher-quality EDTs that vanish in an hour. Still, it’s not what I expected. Edit: now that I wear a mask so much, the pear skin scent is very pleasant between the heat and my masked face. The spray is horrible, terrible quality, I’m moving on to my second bottle, the 50ml is better. Edit again: I bought Annick Goutal’s Petite Chérie and I’m surprised how similar they are; perhaps this is a bit more synthetic and the Petite rougher, but the dry-down notes dry out exactly the same.
I went for the reviews thinking it would be acidic and fresh. The opening seemed like pure alcohol that took a while to fade; then a shy and sweet pear emerged, and barely the valley lily, which I mistook for violet leaves. I wasn’t expecting so much, nor does it smell like Moschino or Light Blue. Luckily I bought the small size. After an hour, the pear feels light and watery, and the jasmine appears, similar to Lanvin’s Mary Jane but less soapy. I own Pear Glaze by Victoria’s Secret and this is lighter and less sweet; for the heat it’s more tolerable and holds up well in humidity. Other higher-quality EDPs faded within an hour, so it’s not what I expected. Edit: now, with so many masks due to the pandemic, I use it a lot; the pear skin scent makes it pleasant between the heat and my masked face, although the spray is horrible, terrible quality. I’m moving on to my second bottle, the 50ml is a bit better. Edit again: I bought Annick Goutal’s Petite Chérie and I’m surprised how similar they are; perhaps this is a bit more synthetic and the Petite rougher, but the dry-down notes dry out exactly the same.
