  • At first, it’s a sweet floral, but nothing gourmand; you can only detect the violet leaf. Very pleasant, almost identical to Aura Sensuelle. As it dries, it smells like fondant dough, and that’s when it becomes a floral gourmand.

  • It truly smells of violets. I only detect the violet leaf note at first, whereas many descriptions say it smells of violets. I wouldn’t dare buy it blind with that doubt, as I love everything that carries violet flowers.

  • I really liked it. The opening clearly features the violet leaf, but as it dries, the neroli mixed with violet emerges, very refined. The downside is the longevity, as happens with all Qissas which don’t last long.

  • A blind buy that turned out well, but with peculiarities. I’m a fan of violet and Guerlain’s Insolence, but Qissa Gala has a different DNA. It opens retro, like a romantic 80s classic or those single-flower Yves Rocher florals from the 2000s. However, in the era of Arab gourmands, it evolves into a creamy base of coconut, musk, and vanilla. It smells of violet, but not like typical French ones; here, plum replaces the red berries. I think it’s top for layering and its longevity is quite good.

Rare, I swear. It opens herbal from the violet leaf and creamy from the ylang-ylang. On my skin, it transforms into fruity coconut (not pastry) with a green touch. As it dries, the vanilla becomes more noticeable. I love that when I move, it leaves a subtle floral coconut trail; with that leaf and fresh coconut, it’s unisex for me.
