It has the same violet potency as Insolence EDP, but here it’s spiced with patchouli. Insolence is much better. The projection is very good and the longevity excellent.
Wonderful… the violets stand out with softness; it’s a sensual, very feminine scent with incredible longevity on the skin.
Violets at their finest, softened by the sweetness of macarons and vanilla. The longevity and trail are astonishing. It makes me feel wonderful. I recommend it 100%.
I’m wearing it right now; I picked it up on offer because I remembered it from the launch. It reminds me of YSL Parisienne; both share violet and peony. To me, violets initially sound like harsh chemicals, like hair dye, but after half an hour they soften. The opening smells of purple fruit and has great presence, though it’s more floral than sweet. It’s a refined oriental floral that lasts over 12 hours. I like it, but I’m not passionate about it and won’t be buying it again.
I was drawn to the violets, but the opening is a disaster: it smells like plastic at first. Despite lasting for hours, it fades quickly until it reaches that sweet, powdery scent reminiscent of macarons—very feminine. The trail isn’t brutal, but the longevity exceeds 12 hours.
