Descripción
Pleats Please L'Eau by Issey Miyake is a floral musky woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this olfactive composition was created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard. The olfactive pyramid opens with a top note of wild rose, giving way to a heart of neroli, Bulgarian rose and pink pepper. The trail settles on a base of white musk, cedar and patchouli.

Very fresh. Ideal for summer.
Delicious, special for summer, very cool and light. I recommend it, though it’s always different on each skin, so always test it first.

Soft yet long-lasting, fresh and light with citrus notes. It gives the impression of a rose freshly washed with water.
Soft yet long-lasting. Fresh, a bit light and citrusy. It feels like a rose freshly watered.
Delightful, citrusy, a little sweet, slightly powdery. It doesn’t have a great sillage but it is very long-lasting.
A fresh rose, very green, with plenty of pepper. I love wearing it in spring showers; it has an almost aquatic freshness. However, in dry heat it can become slightly nasal and turn very dry. It’s phenomenal for humid climates.

I bought it recently this summer in San Juan, in the middle of winter… warm and lovely days. I could try it on there. It’s clean, not as fresh as some say. My husband thought it was ‘creamy’ and yes, after that fresh but subtle floral opening, bordering on shy, it evolves into a very rich cream, though nothing extraordinary. Is it good? No. Is it bad? Neither.
Fresh, very soft and pleasant, cheerful. Simplicity and freshness for the day. Notes of fresh flowers, something citrusy, green leaves, and it even seems I can smell a bit of cactus. Sophisticatedly fresh.

Smells of roses and freshly cut grass. I use it a lot in spring, on those windy days that are neither cold nor hot. It smells like a watered garden, very fresh, green and floral, with a musky dry-down. A clean scent. As it is very floral and green, it’s not my absolute favourite; there are days I love it and others I don’t quite, but it stays in my collection.
Smells of roses and freshly cut grass. I use it a lot in spring, on those windy days that aren’t too hot or cold. It smells like a freshly watered garden: very fresh, very green, very floral, with a powdery dry-down and a clean scent. Being excessively floral and green, it’s not one of my favourites; there are days I love it and others I don’t quite, but it stays in my collection.
I detect citrus notes with a ‘green’ rose that fades quickly, leaving a sober, dry citrus trail. In the end, it smells like clean, distinguished soap. Sometimes I don’t notice it until I move and suddenly it’s there, a pleasant scent that makes me turn my head to see where it’s coming from, only to realise it’s me. Good longevity; noticeable the next day close to the skin.
A youthful, carefree floral fragrance, though a bit dull and short-lived. A splash would be better.
