Personally, I perceive it as floral and fruity, with a fresh and sweet touch, suitable for any occasion. I consider the trail moderate and the longevity on my skin to be around 7 hours. It’s a good perfume and I regret it has been discontinued. On my part, I will continue enjoying my bottle until it runs out. ❤
I’m reading everything because I found a good promotion and I remember a friend had it and it smelled lovely. I read that it’s said to resemble a Lolita and a Black XS, two perfumes I owned and liked very much, especially the Lolita. These reviews convince me, thanks for the specific descriptions. ♡ I’ll see my own experience later. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint me; I hate that happening with perfumes, it happened with the Hot by Ralph Lauren.
They gave it to me and I loved it. I used it and bought it again. I don’t know what happened afterwards, but I couldn’t finish it. I ended up giving it away. I don’t know what happened to us.
I bought it blind and at first we didn’t get along because the scent is hard to describe, but it’s elegant and sophisticated and I ended up falling in love with it. The only downside is that on my skin it doesn’t last at all, at most two hours. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t repurchase, even though I love it and it’s very cheap online because it’s discontinued and not in high demand. It will remain etched in my olfactory memory due to its personality; it’s a special scent, it just doesn’t settle on my skin. On clothes, it lasts all day.
I don’t know why I bought it if I don’t like sweets much. I ended up giving it away; I found it very overpowering.
I bought it cheap two years ago during those deals that don’t repeat. I smelled it in the perfumerie and went back more for the price than for the scent itself. I’ve liked it. The 50 ml bottle lasted me a breath. It smells sweet, fresh, mysterious, and unlike anything else. It pleasantly surprised me. I wouldn’t buy it again because it hasn’t blown my mind, but it has good longevity. It’s not invasive and it sat well on me, which I appreciate. Greetings from the wonderful Mendoza, Argentina.
Ricci Ricci is my personal perfume, the first imported one I owned, and six years later I’m on my third bottle. Whenever I wear it, I get compliments. It’s delicious, sweet, and acidic; rhubarb dominates, followed by patchouli and neroli. It’s very original, attractive, seductive, and characterful. On my skin it lasts more than 8 hours, which is easy. I wear it morning and night and it’s still detectable. It lingers on clothes for a very long time. For me, it’s a 10/10. I will definitely keep buying it because I simply love it.
A unique and refined fragrance. It reminds me of a girl strolling through Paris after the rain, carrying a bouquet of fresh white flowers and green herbs with dew. I love it.
I adore rhubarb and patchouli, but here it smells like freshly cut pine; it’s not unpleasant, just unusual to my nose. Later it settles into something fresh, soft, and youthful. I like it, but not enough to go all out.
I picked this up in 2010 as it seemed like a cool scent that suited my skin well. The evolution is acceptable, with a soft trail and medium longevity, lasting around 6 to 8 hours. It’s predominantly floral with a sweet touch, and I can detect the neroli on my Casio. It lasts all day and in any season because it’s not overpowering. I liked it for being sensual and cheerful, but it didn’t win me over, so I haven’t bought it again.
It’s an intense, fresh, sensual, and bold perfume. The rhubarb note gives it a mysterious touch. When I apply it, I feel like I’m smelling a mint leaf mixed with rose petals and bergamota. After five minutes, the citrus becomes sweet but not annoying, almost sparkling and slightly acidic. When I wear it, women compliment me. I think it’s for special occasions.
Besides having a delicious aroma, it has an admirable sillage and astronomical longevity. I’ve received several compliments when wearing it, which I love. A fabulous creation, from the elegance of its bottle to the strength of this fragrance. It’s in my collection and it’s staying there!
This perfume transports me back to my teenage years when I started using sensual yet youthful fragrances, and this was one of the first. To me, it smells a bit like a biscuit. It’s a sweet perfume, but the scent isn’t generic. It has a sparkling note thanks to the patchouli. It’s lovely and has great longevity.
This perfume smells so delicious I don’t want to use it for fear of running out. It has been discontinued. It’s fresh and distinctive with that rhubarb and bergamot note; it’s lovely, not overpowering, and then leaves a different floral trail compared to what I know, mixed with sandalwood. It doesn’t seem like roses; perhaps it’s datura. It’s a beautiful floral. It can still be found for those who like it, so grab one to stock up; the bottles are very pretty.
I was complimented on this perfume back in 2009 when it launched. I loved the advert and the bottle, so I ordered it without smelling it first, and from the very first moment I was hooked. Over the years, I’ve bought it several times. What a pity it’s been discontinued, but it’s great that the price is so affordable now. It’s a straightforward white floral-fruity scent. During my university years, people often asked me what fragrance I was wearing when I wore it :).
I found a sample of this perfume at home and fell in love. My only disappointment was seeing it discontinued… Does anyone know of safe online stores that still sell it?
Hello Carm! It depends on the country; in Chile, it’s still available in department stores or alternative shops, around 40,000 Chilean pesos for 80ml, give or take 😄. The scent is superb—potent, sweet, intense, strong, with smoky and spicy notes. It has great personality and is highly recognisable. Its best moments are in cool climates and at night. I love it; it lasts forever, easily 12 hours.
It’s sweet and fruity, but I love that it doesn’t become cloying; even when dry, it feels fresh. It’s quite rich, easy to wear, and very versatile. I found it on a brilliant promotion, which makes it perfect.
One of the best I’ve ever tried. What a pity it’s no longer available.
I first encountered this in my teens; I barely smelled it and instantly fell in love. For a long time, it was my only perfume because I adored its intense, rebellious scent and felt so identified with it. It had excellent longevity and sillage; whenever I wore it, someone always complimented me. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been sold in Argentine perfumeries for quite some time ☹️.
I bought it blindly and it was too strong for me. I use it very little, preferably in winter and at night so it doesn’t overwhelm me. Please send decants!! hahaha
A gem. Sweet, fruity, citrusy and floral, with a very wearable green note. What a pity it’s been discontinued. The bottle is gorgeous.
If you like it but can’t find it anymore, try Bella by Nina Ricci. It has a similar vibe due to the rhubarb note. Bella is more modern and fresh, easy to wear for everything, whereas Ricci Ricci is more of a night scent.
It’s a great fragrance, a collector’s gem. It makes you feel super feminine and empowered. It’s an excellent investment with very good longevity.
Ricci Ricci is sweet and intense, you can tell there’s a spicy touch and a bit of heat (like a rose berry effect). It’s a good perfume, but it doesn’t speak to me, I feel you fans. I adore the bottle design, it’s a beauty. Perfect piece for collecting miniatures.
Citrus and sweet opening… but where are the other notes? They gifted it to me saying it was a tester, but… either they tricked me and it was a copy, or it’s the worst performance from a Nina Ricci I’ve seen. In the end, I gave it away during a move because it made no sense.
Among my eighty-plus perfumes, Ricci Ricci is the king. Harmonious, sparkling and youthful thanks to the rhubarb and bergamot which last eight hours! In the end, the pink neroli and sandalwood round everything off. It suits any time of day, even formal events. It’s unique among all I’ve tried. I love it with all my heart, but I can’t find it anymore because it’s discontinued 😭.
I picked it up in 2009 and used it until 2017. Now it’s hard to find, but I’d use it again without a doubt. It’s my favourite fragrance for that blend of citrus and sweetness. It’s a collector’s gem from Nina Ricci. I’d give it 10 out of 10.
It drives me wild, I feel like it’s my signature scent. It’s super intense and sweet, so if you’re not a fan of that kind of perfume, it might not suit you. I buy it every Christmas, although I haven’t managed to find stock this year 😢. It’s very unique and people always look at me with envy when I wear it.
Back in 2011 I tried it on a dupe and it didn’t take my fancy. Today I was gifted the original and they smell identical. The only thing I notice is the neroli, and to be honest, it doesn’t quite hook me; I don’t see that magical charm other perfumes have.
Half woman, half feline. Ricci Ricci is sensual and mysterious. When night falls, it tries to disguise its wild side with innocence, but it doesn’t fool anyone and catches everyone. Perfume for the determined woman, something impertinent, who knows what her seduction weapons are and won’t hesitate to use them.
I have a decant, I’ve been using it and I love it. It’s very sweet and youthful; to my nose, it smells like expensive shampoo and I don’t know why I also sense coconut XD. Edit: I love it!!!! I already have it with me because I loved it. It’s so beautiful; I always feel put-together when I wear it and it has very good longevity, more than six hours on my skin.
I bought it in 2009 and I still have it! It’s no longer sold in Argentina 😔😔😔. This is my go-to page for buying new perfumes.
Well, another one I have because it came in the miniatures they gave me. I don’t like it. One of the ugliest perfumes I’ve ever known. I have it intact; I only like the little bottle.
Compared to other Nina Riccis, it’s the most mature (in a good sense), at least of those I know. When I first encountered it, I was a teenager; the Nina Apple and its flankers were in fashion. It sounded too childish to me and seemed discordant when I smelled it on older women. For me, Ricci Ricci is a perfume that a teenager can wear to formal night parties and that adult women can also wear calmly.
It’s my favourite perfume; I wore it throughout my adolescence and now I have a bottle with barely a spray left that I haven’t used because it’s the only one I have. I’ve seen that several people have it and don’t like it 🙁 please, if you’re from Mexico, I’ll buy it for you. I’m a serious person; it brings me good memories and I’d like to have it again. Hopefully, someone can contact me here or via email… [email protected]
It’s a fantastic and rich fragrance. It lasts a long time and has a lovely trail without being heavy. Besides, it has original notes. I don’t understand how they discontinued it; I miss it.
I met this lovely scent in 2022; it was a blind buy but a pleasant experience. From the first spray, I felt the rhubarb with the floral notes and liked it; the evolution is very rich. At first, the rhubarb stands out over the bergamot, then the neroli take centre stage. It’s a floral scent without being too sweet, but very striking. I find it versatile; it can be worn all year round. The bottle is very pretty. It was cheap, so the value for money is excellent. The longevity on skin is also good, more than six hours. Would I recommend a blind buy? If you like florals, yes; if you’re a gourmand, no. This isn’t sweet, despite the patchouli.
Intense, acidic, sweet, and finally powdery. In short: a strident, discordant Ricci Ricci, like dressing a four-year-old in goth and dropping her into a techno club. I don’t detect any cypress or green; the rhubarb is too domesticated by a shrill bergamot. The flowers, especially the neroli, are too sexual and don’t add any roundness. I’ve always found it disturbing, with an incredibly potent trail. I didn’t like it, although I recognise that, alongside other olfactory sweets like the Lempickas, it had a loyal following. A want and inability between childishness and maturity; it wasn’t for me, although I didn’t mind smelling it.
First comes the acidity of the rhubarb, followed by that touch of ‘woodiness’ like pencil shavings that dominates the rest of the journey. Suddenly, a sweet, ill-defined floral note appears. It’s nice and the bottle is monochrome, but nothing more. There are others from that era of the house that left a deeper mark.
