A wonderful perfume… perfect for classic, elegant ladies. The bottle is beautiful and the fragrance is very well made.
I received a complimentary sample and have tried it four times, but I simply can’t stand it. It’s a fragrance dominated by violet and lilac. Although it doesn’t list iris, I detect a powdery, soapy, slightly spicy note, presumably from the combination of vanilla and musk. It’s a floral, warm, classic, and formal scent. It’s neither fresh nor youthful; those who enjoy this type of aroma should stay away. Best for autumn and winter days. Longevity is no more than three hours with moderate sillage. I don’t like the bottle; I love classic horror films and it reminds me of The Fly. The cap looks like the insect’s eyes, which is rather repulsive to me.

Although it doesn’t quite thrill me enough to buy it, I’ve quite liked it. It’s soft and delicate, like a floral caress. To my nose, the heliotrope and creamy amber stand out, giving a sensation of very light, ethereal body cream, like an aerosol. It’s refreshing and creamy at the same time, quite wearable; it conveys lightness and comfort. The vanilla note is just right, barely noticeable and appropriate to keep it soft, without becoming sweet or cloying. I agree with Gioconda that it suits classic, elegant women; in my case, I think it’s for any age. It seemed very spring-like to me, even usable in summer. I also agree with Wilkairene that it can be good for daily use, in work environments or less formal situations. For lovers of soft fragrances with a hint of body cream, it’s an option to consider… Sillage and longevity are moderate.
My Name is one of my top 15 favourites: a subtle breeze of elegance, so neat, intimate and yet irreverent, because it makes a difference and doesn’t conform to today’s loud, sweet scents. It smells like Nivea cream on the skin; it must be the heliotrope and the musk that give that aura of impeccable cleanliness. I imagine a British aristocrat in a starched white Victorian shirt walking across the green English pastures with this perfume. In conclusion, it’s a lovely gamble by Trussardi that has surprised me. NB: By the way, the face on the advert is Gala Trussardi, sister of Tomaso Trussardi, both models and granddaughters of the founder of the house.
NB: If you didn’t know, the cap of this fragrance and its other flanker, My Scent, can be used to scent a room. According to the trainer at Idesa Parfums, you can spray it inside a wardrobe or over a piece of furniture to infuse the air with its aroma.

I absolutely love how tender this fragrance is. Its enveloping, powdery scent is super pleasant and delicate. I use it a lot during spring and summer showers, though I do notice the scent fades quickly in the height of summer or winter. It is elegant. Edit: Now that we are in autumn, it performs much better, lasts longer and leaves a stronger trail.

I was gifted this perfume and I am delighted; although I never paid much attention to violets, it is very pleasant and balanced. It goes perfectly for work due to its moderate intensity and subtle sillage. It reminds me of a bride due to its sweet and romantic touch. It is a beautiful mix of heliotrope, lilac violets and vanilla with ambroxan and light musk. It reminded me of a lilac perfume by Yves Rocher, but more delicate and elegant.

I have tried it several times in store and I have mixed feelings. The opening is lovely, floral with soft and velvety vanilla, very wearable. But as it dries down it mutates until it smells like a wet wipe or hygiene product. That is why I would not buy it.
Wow, what a beautiful thing! If fairytale princesses had a universal scent, it would be this. It is a girl/good woman essence; I get images of long hair, rosy cheeks and floral dresses. It is powdery, floral and feminine; it leaves a cottony and pleasant sensation. It smells clean, soapy, like a luxury fabric softener or cream. It is a hidden gem, perfect for feeling like an elegant princess in any season, although it stands out more in autumn.

The bottle is pretty. It is a talc-like fragrance where violets and lilacs stand out. It is clean, with plenty of musk but without dry sweetness; it feels soft and delicate, not invasive. I call it ‘silk’ because on the skin it smells like soft floral talc. It’s in the style of Kenzo Flower or Issey Miyake A Drop, but without copying them.
