Trussardi began in Bergamo in 1911 with a leather glove workshop founded by Dante Trussardi. In the seventies, Nicola Trussardi expanded the business to bags, scarves and accessories and opened a boutique in Milan. The greyhound became the symbol of the house in 1975.
The current perfumery includes lines for women, men and proposals without a defined gender. Trussardi Donna and Trussardi Uomo appear in the catalogue alongside new creations, with Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette. The catalogue links the perfumes to fashion and accessories.
