  • Trussardi’s Sound of Donna is volatile: a potent floral-fruity opening that by the hour turns thick due to the whipped cream. The only flaw is that in the dry-down it smells a bit soapy. Without those pulpy fruits, only green almonds, chestnuts, and mandarin give a fresh and gourmand dry-down. The bottle is pretty, fuchsia with purple waves, musical like the campaign with Annalisa. It represents the chicest Trussardi girl, ideal for a spring afternoon in Milan with an Italian boyfriend.

  • Opening similar to Poison Girl EDP: sweet hazelnut, a bit cloying. Fixation and sillage are good. Solid performance. The neroli note stands out in the dry-down, wrapped in that dessert-like touch that Sound of Donna has.

  • A different gourmand that isn’t cloying, at a good price. Lasts over 8 hours with moderate sillage. Citrus and almond opening, then chestnuts appear, reminiscent of This Is Her. It’s softer than my favourite but with the same warmth. On the skin, it leaves whipped cream. 8/10 aroma, 8/10 longevity, 7/10 sillage, 8/10 value for money. Yes, I would buy again.

  • Sound of Donna is a distinct gourmand that isn’t cloying, and it’s available at a very good price. The longevity is excellent (over eight hours on my skin) with a moderate sillage. At first, there are the citrus and almond notes, followed by the chestnuts; this phase reminds me of Zadig & Voltaire’s This Is Her. I think it’s ideal for those who find This Is Her too intense; it’s softer and sweeter but retains the same warmth. After a while, what remains on the skin is predominantly whipped cream. Scent 8/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 7/10 Value for money 8/10 Versatility 8/10 Packaging 8/10 Would I buy again? Yes

  • I was looking for a This Is Her by Zadig & Voltaire, but Sound of Donna smells more like Club Nuit by Armaf, though with sweeter notes, surely due to the whipped cream. Lasts about 5 hours (longer on clothes). I would buy it again. Super recommended for lovers of high-level gourmands.

  • I bought it expecting it to smell like my all-time favourite, Zadig & Voltaire This Is Her, which is so hard to get in Chile; when Sound of Donna arrived, I was surprised. It’s delicious but differs significantly from my true love. To me, it smells exactly like Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man, which I also adore, with the difference being that this one has sweeter notes, I imagine due to the whipped cream. It lasts around five hours, a little longer on clothes. I would buy it again, yes, and I highly recommend it to those who enjoy top-tier gourmand scents.

  • What a marvel!! I had my doubts and bought it blindly, but it’s spectacular. It reminds me of Azzaro Wanted Girl, Poison Girl (the opening), and This Is Her. The perfume is fantastic, along with its longevity, sillage, and price!!

  • What a wonder! I bought it blind and it’s spectacular. It reminds me of Wanted Girl, Poison Girl, and This Is Her. Fantastic perfume with good longevity, sillage, and price.

  • This perfume changes with the temperature. In summer it becomes dense and patchouli-heavy; on fresh days it’s almond-y, milky, and super cosy. To get the most out of it, use it in autumn or winter. I don’t recommend it in summer; it has the vibe of Poison Girl and This Is Her.

I bought it at a good price for autumn/winter and got it right. It’s sweet and warm, perfect for the cold. I loved the chestnut note. Now it’s summer and I’ve put it away. Edit: climate change has brought hot winters to my country. I tried using it with some chill, but it overwhelmed me, so I returned it.

  • I’m impressed; it’s an intense sweet scent yet delicate and elegant. What was going to be my secondary fragrance has now become my primary one. I love it!! 🤗 ❤️ Edit: After tripling my collection, it remains one of my favourites, plus the longer my bottle ages, the better it smells. The deeply sweet and well-crafted depth of this makes me close my eyes and feel teleported to a green forest beside a river where the sun and breeze caress my face, or a walk on an island with paradisiacal beaches, or being at a romantic dinner, just as much as attending a summer party where everyone is dressed in white with smiles on their faces and tanned from enjoying a good holiday. This perfume makes me feel all these things. It’s magical for me, with good longevity (especially on clothes) and a good sillage; quality and price are excellent. 10/10

  • It has impressed me: intensely sweet yet delicate and elegant. It moved from a secondary scent to my favourite. Edit: although it tripled my collection, I still love it, and the older the bottle, the better it smells. It transports me to a sunlit forest by a river, a paradisiacal island, or to romantic dinners and summer parties. It’s magical. Good longevity (especially on clothes) and value for money. 10/10

  • I kept it for winter, and with the rain came, it was spectacular. Smells like cream with nuts, a gourmand that isn’t cloying. Lasts 8 hours on skin; in warm weather the patchouli is more noticeable, but in the cold it becomes super creamy, almost with tonka bean notes. It gives a sense of a warm coat. If you’re looking for whipped cream, don’t hesitate. 10/10

  • Exquisiiiitooo!!!! A totally gourmand perfume that places whipped cream at the height of its glory, alongside chestnuts, almonds and vanilla, even though Fragrantica doesn’t list the vanilla… I see it as very similar to Girl of Now (just less intense), Poison Girl, BonBon de VR, and the Juicy Couture scents… A good alternative since the aforementioned perfumes are expensive in many countries… The longevity is very good, around six to eight hours, with a moderate sillage… Ideal for autumn and winter… Highly recommended 100%.

  • Exquisite! It’s a pure gourmand where whipped cream shines brightest, blended with chestnuts, almonds, and vanilla. It reminds me of Girl of Now (just less intense) or Poison Girl, making it a brilliant alternative since those others are pricey. Lasts 6 to 8 hours with moderate sillage. Perfect for autumn and winter. 100% recommended!

  • I adore it; if you like gourmands, it’s impossible not to like it. It’s sweet, soft, and fresh: sweet mandarin and magnolia at the start, and whipped cream, chestnut, and sandalwood as it dries. Wonderful! It’s for sunny but fresh spring mornings, although if you over-spray, it becomes cloying.

  • I bought it because I found it at an incredible price on my last trip to the Canaries. It must be said that it’s nothing unique, nor very complex, nor does it have a dazzling evolution… on the contrary, the aroma is simple and fairly linear, but I still like it. I’d categorise it as floral-fruity-gourmand. It opens very fruity with a sweet mandarin, nothing acidic. Shortly after, in two minutes, the florals emerge, highlighting heliotrope, one of my favourite flowers. As it dries, it becomes creamier, milky, simulating a sweet dessert. In this phase, it reminds me a bit of This is Her. The patchouli doesn’t stand out on my skin and I barely smell it; there is a certain woody creaminess from the sandalwood, but it’s not the protagonist. I see it as feminine and versatile. It’s sweet but not cloying, clearly noticeable without being ‘beast mode’, so it suits many occasions and months. I think it shines in moderate temperatures (the cold dampens it a bit and extreme heat makes it heavy). Performance is quite good in duration and projection, especially considering the price. In summary, it’s not a groundbreaking proposal; there are many with a similar vibe. But I like it because it’s an uncomplicated aroma, gourmand but light, very wearable for daily use. And the current price makes it worth it.

I love it! It smells of almonds with cream, delicious, impossible not to like. It’s a cousin of Girl of Now, it’s 98% similar and 95% like Biografía Asignatura. All three are beautiful. Of course, you must really like the sweetness and almond. You can smell the almond, chestnut, and whipped cream from start to finish. It lasts 8 hours, ideal for autumn and winter. I recommend it!

Without bragging, I own many perfumes, but this behaves wonderfully on my skin; I simply adore it. The base is rich, and I can clearly smell the scent of chestnuts wrapped in cream. This house has wonderful perfumes.

  • Perfect for showcasing the whipped cream note. Almonds and cream sustained by flowers that balance that intense sweetness. The opening is pleasant due to the floral freshness, but in the end, it smells like pure custard. It’s made for whipped cream lovers (Tamara from Tamarita’s things would adore it 😉 sweet, creamy, and very gourmand. Like a custard tart decorated with flowers.

  • Paniperfums

Indeed, it reminds me of Poison Girl, but they are very different. It smells clean and creamy due to the whipped cream base and almond, although the latter sounds a bit synthetic and dry. I didn’t expect so much lactonic from the sandalwood, but it balances well with the cleanliness. It has a moderate sweetness and, for the price, it’s very good value with medium quality. If you like clean, creamy almond, start here.

  • I had my expectations sky-high, thinking it would be an exquisite gourmand, but no. The sample in the shop seemed dusty, and the scent… hmm, I don’t know what happened. It reminds me of someone much older. Well…

  • I was absolutely blown away; I hadn’t tried it before and it’s a delight. Soft, clean, and those notes of chestnuts with cream and almonds give me warmth in this Chilean winter. On my skin, it lasts about 8 hours with a moderate trail. Its best moment is winter, and the bottle is gorgeous.

  • SolMartinezL

I bought it blindly on sale and fell in love at first sight. It projects well and blends flowers with dried fruits as it dries, all very creamy. I adore it, even if it doesn’t last long. Whatever, I just reapply and it’s perfect for autumn and winter.

  • Lucky it’s affordable, though it smells like something familiar, like a more mature version of GON. It’s floral and creamy, perfect for mild climates, but I feel it lacks a bit of strength to last all day.
