To be honest, I didn’t like it much. They are moving away from being fragrances for young people and becoming adult ones; in my opinion, they feel floral yet penetrating. Perhaps due to the saffron, there’s a soft wood note enhanced by patchouli, and a sweet note that should be vanilla but doesn’t seem like vanilla.
What is this about ‘fragrances for young people’ and ‘for adults’? Anyone who speaks like that doesn’t understand the world of scents and shows prejudice towards people.
I love it, I love it, and I love it even more. I buy every unit I can find in each perfumerie because it’s limited edition and I know I won’t get it again. I adore the entire Black XS line; the only one I haven’t tried is L’Aphrodisiaque because I never found it in Argentina. I’m eager for the Los Angeles edition that arrived recently and haven’t tried it yet; if I like it, I’ll buy it for my collection. Black XS Be a Legend is indescribable, but its scent is so soft it doesn’t tire me. I adore it; I regret they are LE because I’ll miss them over time, just like the Potion edition.
I loved it when I tried it in the store and how it sat on my skin hours later. The bad news is that by the time I decided to buy it, there was no stock left and I couldn’t find it anywhere, as it was a limited edition ☹
I didn’t hesitate to buy it after smelling it in the perfumerie, but wearing it daily was a mistake… it smells like a mature perfume and a bit dusty. It’s a floral and powdery blend, at least for me. It has good longevity and feels very skin-scented.
Blsck xd has had me hooked for years; this particular one is my favourite. It sounds more sophisticated than the original.
