As rightly said, it’s a synthetic cherry but it feels fantastic. Everything is perfectly balanced. Of the Rabanne range, this is the one that suits me best.
With Paco Rabanne, it’s hard to go wrong; I think they have something for everyone. Although they’ve had signature scents before, this has all the makings of one, though perhaps it needs a little more to confirm it. I tested it in a store almost a year ago, but it never arrived in my city, so I’m not sure if it left me as cold as the first time I smelled it; it doesn’t seem that bad. Being different, it doesn’t quite reach what I expected from this line… a pity, but time will tell, maybe in the end I’ll like it.

I discovered it thanks to a decant and I love it; I don’t think I would have known it if the sample hadn’t arrived. It’s a delicious, deep cherry, nothing sugary or like cheap taffy, but a savoury cherry blended with benzoin and darkened further by incense and oud. I’m already thinking about buying the full size.
Very surprised because I rarely like anything from Paco Rabanne. Here, a cherry (somewhat synthetic, but one I’m already used to with red fruits) takes centre stage, incensed and spiced with oud. It’s like mixing Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry with Oud For Greatness and Kayali Amber 23. It also has a performance similar to Baccarat Rouge: it feels light in the air and sweet, but with very strong projection and longevity. Over 12 hours.
