First time I bought an Armani and the truth is, I didn’t like it much. I would use it for work, it gives an image of being over 30. It smells of intense praline mixed with sour raspberry and patchouli, it’s like bitter chocolate. The bottle is very pretty, I have the 30ml, but I consider there are better options. Even the Britney ones smell richer.
It was tucked away in a drawer. I took it out for a bargain and at first it wasn’t what I expected; I was looking for something sweet, gourmand-style. But now, in autumn, I adore it. To me, it smells of sugary and dusty violets, very feminine. I get many compliments. It’s ideal for going out at night in winter, a beautiful fragrance, long-lasting and with a powerful trail.
I tried it again after a while, and look, it smells of violets, but bitter ones, nothing sweet. I let myself be carried away and bought it without smelling it, and that’s where it stayed forgotten because it didn’t convince me. Sometimes I use it when it’s cold and I don’t want to smell as gourmand as usual, but I already remember why: it has something, is it the patchouli or the lily of the valley that makes it so bitter? I don’t know, but the longevity is weak and I was disappointed again.
