A very nice perfume. I knew of it years ago; a friend wore it and I loved it from the first moment. The raspberry and lychee give it a perfect opening, very sensual, feminine and distinguished, with great projection. Then the woody notes make it unique. I love it.
I loved the scent at first, but after a while it gave me a terrible headache. I simply can’t stand lychee, even though it sounded delicious.
I liked the smell at first, but after a while it gave me a terrible headache. I can’t stand the lychee. Still, it smelled very nice.
Extremely cloying and overwhelming for my nose. I thought it would settle, but it didn’t. The lychee and the raspberry with amber are too much; it left me feeling powdery and cloyingly sweet, like food. The same thing happened with the summer edition.
Extremely talcky and overwhelming for my nose. I thought it would settle, but it didn’t. The lychee, raspberry and amber are too much; it left me feeling very powdery and sweet, like food. The same happened with the summer edition.
Sweet yet special; it smells of strawberry gum. The scent is very pleasant and unique; no perfume smells like this. It’s not common, 100% recommended.
Rich, rare and different. It suits me.
Distinct from any other scent, very characteristic and full of personality. I love it; it’s one of my favourites. It has that talc note that clashes with me. If you want to escape common, boring aromas, this is your option.
It doesn’t suit me, but it’s a rarity like no other. It’s unique and makes a difference. It projects hugely, so at least it’s worth the price in the shop.
It’s not to my taste. Although it’s unusual, it doesn’t resemble anything else. It’s unique and makes a difference. It’s very long-lasting, so it’s at least worth the exorbitant price in the shop.
IT’S RICH VERY SWEET. I THINK IT’S FOR NIGHT. IT SMELLS DIFFERENT. IT’S NOT ONE OF MY FAVOURITES BUT IT’S NICE!!
They gave it to my mum but I thought I might like it. On the contrary I felt it was strong but not feminine perhaps due to many citrus notes in the background. It gave me the impression of being unisex. The scent is different yes but it’s not one of my favourites.

It’s an exquisite perfume for women ideal for afternoon or evening. Its price is still exaggerated… I compared it with Dream by La Rive and it’s identical. I won’t talk about clones but it’s extraordinary: same longevity and quality. As I saw in Europe it’s sweeping markets at a price that will surely make this fashion house tremble.
I received this perfume as a gift years ago and didn’t like it: too sweet it made me dizzy and gave me a headache the first time. It’s a very different scent and lasts a long time. When I got dizzy I ran to wash my wrists and the scent stayed on me all day.
Emporio Armani Diamonds used many creative ideas without falling into extravagance. As the team said: ‘we used the rose in gourmand mode like an edible rose’. The advertising ideas were good with Beyoncé versioning ‘Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friends’ coherent and fun. But the perfume itself isn’t great. It seems a quick response to the success of The One by Dolce & Gabbana (sharing lychee vanilla vetiver lily and amber). It’s a less synthetic and sugary alternative to The One. It starts with an acidic breeze almost citrusy and chilly raspberry which refreshes the juicy red lychee. Then comes a warm sweet and gourmand rose with a chypre base and floral notes (here the vanilla enters). The base is pure vanilla with residues of the previous notes (I don’t feel amber or vetiver). It seems like a prelude to later fragrances reminding me of lighter versions of La Vie Est Belle or Si Intense by Giorgio Armani. Honestly it seems like a trial experiment before fame and it was never very popular. In its misfortune it’s not memorable or transcendent nor innovative or eternal. Its pastry-like trail marks it as a trend fragrance. It doesn’t stand out for trail or longevity. The scent is natural better than several mentioned but its lack of temporal finesse caused its oblivion. Giorgio Armani seemed to get ahead of the fruitchuli gourmand fashion trend. I theorise that when launching the Si line their commercials thought: ‘Now? Now!? Can we do it now?!’). The men’s version is almost the same with minor crude differences. It hasn’t been relevant either.
I love this perfume. I’m already on my third bottle. For me it’s a different scent from the rest and has long-lasting power.
Update 18 Feb: Definitely for cold winter days. After a cold front here the difference was abysmal: from hating it to loving it. It became my seasonal favourite for being uncommon. I loved it and hope to find it cheap again. My husband found it for 180 Mexican pesos on Amazon and without hesitation bought it. I didn’t know it saw the reviews and they convinced me due to the notes (wood amber raspberry). I still don’t tolerate it well I don’t know if it’s the lychee but it’s overwhelming as often happens to me. It lasted hours which doesn’t happen with the perfumes I adore. Haven’t tried it at night or on clothes yet. On the plus side the longevity. It’s an Eau de Parfum not very common. I’ll update the review when I can.
I took a risk buying blind guided by the notes which sounded good to me but I avoid synthetic rose at all costs. I didn’t like it: it was overwhelming hard to wear very strong and intrusive. On my skin the vetiver stood out a lot. For me it could be unisex.
It was the first expensive gift my husband bought me at my request. He won me over with that fruity blend of raspberry and sweet vanilla. I asked for 30ml and he got it right because although it seems youthful and far from the Armani line it’s intense and lasted me years when worn alone at night in winter. Potent scent but moderate trail. I bought it again a few weeks ago at a good price to remember happy times. Armani’s ‘Because It’s You’ reminds me of this a lot but it’s softer and without lychee. It doesn’t appear here on Fragrantica but I miss the Beyoncé video from the first advert.
It was the first expensive gift my husband gave me, at my request. He nailed it with that fruity touch of raspberry and sweet vanilla. I asked for 30ml and he got it right: although it seems youthful and distinct from Armani, it’s intense and lasted me years, perfect for cold nights. It has strong longevity but a moderate sillage. I bought it again a few weeks ago at a good price to keep those memories. It reminds me a lot of Because It’s You, softer than Diamonds and without lychee. It’s not available here, but I miss the Beyoncé video from the original advert.
This perfume is a chameleon: in the cold lychee and raspberry dominate with a comforting fruity aura; in the heat patchouli and amber take over though once it settles it becomes sweet again. It’s very rich with a moderate trail and a longevity of around 6 hours.
I bought it a while ago and I didn’t make a mistake; it’s a wonderful and unique delight. Its rich, warm vanilla with rose and patchouli is what lingers on my skin after the raspberry and lychee, which I don’t detect at the end, but I do sense the freesia and vetiver. It’s simply delicious with a majestically long-lasting trail. I love it because it’s equally pleasant and always very welcome in both cold and hot climates. Armani is wonderful with its creations.
It was the first perfume my then-boyfriend, now husband, gave me because he liked it 11 years ago. It’s a long-lasting, sweet fragrance and, as I’ve read above, ‘chameleon-like’: it suits both warm and cold climates and women of all ages. That said, it’s very hard to come by.
It was the first perfume my ex-boyfriend, now husband, gave me because he liked it 11 years ago. It’s long-lasting, sweet and, as I’ve read, ‘chameleonic’. It suits both warm and cold weather, and women of all ages. That said, it’s very hard to get hold of.
Very floral and stately for my taste, it didn’t last long on the skin. At first it smells acidic, perhaps due to the lychee, but once dried down it has a rich fragrance. I regret buying it for the price and its poor longevity.
Very floral and stately to my taste; it didn’t last at all on my skin. At first, it smells very acidic, perhaps due to the lychee, but it has a very rich fragrance once it dries down. I regret buying it for the price and its short duration.
Charming, elegant, slightly sweet and very seductive. According to my nose, it has the freshness of lychee at the start, vanilla sweetness with patchouli, and the rose and freesia give it great femininity, while cedar and amber add warmth. If I consider it for a romantic dinner, I think ladies aged 25 and up will appreciate it more. It has good longevity, eight hours, with a moderate trail on me, but I invite you to try it.
Charming, elegant, slightly sweet and very seductive. It smells of fresh lychee at first, then vanilla with patchouli, rose and freesia give it femininity, and cedar with amber add warmth. Ideal for romantic dinners, for women aged 25 and above. Good longevity, eight hours, moderate projection. I invite you to try it.
I bought it blindly in a department store without smelling it, and it was a mistake. My tastes are different: it smells strong, woody, amber and bitter, with a floral note I perceived as bitter. The longevity and sillage are good and the price is moderate. I didn’t like it, but someone snatched it from my hands and adores it.
I bought it blind in a department store; I didn’t even ask to smell it, which was a mistake. My tastes are very different: it’s a strong, woody, amber, bitter scent with some floral notes, but I sensed a bitter aroma. Its longevity and trail are very good, and the price is moderate. I didn’t like it, but someone snatched it from my hands when I said I didn’t want it. She loves it.
On me, it’s an elegant rose with vanilla. I like it very much and its performance is three hours with a moderate trail. I quite like it.
One of my favourite perfumes!!!!! I just love it.
I love it! It’s original and different from the ones I know. I had it about 13 or 14 years ago. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued and I can’t find it anywhere.
Definitely I like it. It’s as feminine as it gets; what a pleasure to wear it. It develops well on my skin; it’s not overly sweet, just a soft little sweetness. It’s sophisticated; you can wear it with jeans or a black dress and heels; it’s sexy, powdery but not talcky. No one asks what I’m wearing. It’s different, not another one of the crowd. You have to try it; I bought it blind and got a pleasant surprise. It lasts long, six hours or more on skin, much longer on clothes.
Definitely a favourite. It’s as feminine as it gets and I adore wearing it. On my skin, it develops beautifully: not overly sweet, just a soft sweetness, very sophisticated. Wear it with jeans or a black dress and heels; it’s sexy, powdery but not dusty. No one asks what I’m wearing… It’s different, not another one of the crowd. I bought it blind and was pleasantly surprised. It lasts a long time; the trail is divine: six hours or more on skin, much longer on clothes.
I tried it for a while and I absolutely love it! Anything with lychee suits me perfectly. If you like Lancôme’s Miracle, you’ll enjoy this too. It’s versatile: in winter for day and night, in summer only for evening. It’s elegant, not overpowering, giving a clean sensation without being citrusy, which is rare for a few notes, yet it has a special touch. It’s not common in Latin America where everyone seeks the sweetest scents; this one is a bit drier.
