  • I tried this Guerlain Homme and the first impression is a completely feminine and sugary smell. It has a pleasant scent, but when it dries down it’s very similar to Shalimar. It stays on the skin but doesn’t project much. It’s very soft, ideal for summer because it’s not intrusive. For me, it’s a summery Shalimar.

  • Delicious, citrusy, refreshing, and beautiful. It has that alcoholic vibe that makes me think of a mojito: a drink with lemon and mint. It’s very natural and revitalising. Many people complain about the projection and longevity, but on my skin it works very well: I get 6 to 8 hours, which is perfect. You can apply it as many times as you want; I use up to 10 sprays and it doesn’t feel heavy. Very enjoyable, can be worn at night without issues, formal and informal. A very good option for summer, highly recommended, I love it.

  • “SOFT, FRESH AND REFINED” Guerlain is pronounced guer-lay and is one of the oldest houses. The opening is very fresh and citrusy (lemon, vetiver, mojito, bergamot, mint). Very refreshing, ideal for hot climates. It’s not sweet. Nowadays, there are few fragrances that serve casual, semi-formal, and formal use at the same time. This is no exception! Any setting works well. Very versatile. I find the longevity and projection a bit weak, but since it can be reapplied, it’s enjoyed again. For those over 25. I wish I could smell Guerlain Homme and Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisée, because for me, the Boisée is much better: more interesting and elegant.

The Rozz reviews have already said it all, saving us the trouble, hahaha. I had lost faith in Guerlain after my bad experience with Habit Rouge, but this fragrance has delighted me. Rather than woody-aromatic, I’d say it’s citrus-aromatic. A triumph by Guerlain.

  • Alo Paris! Since I tried it, it’s one of my favourites. It’s citrusy and fresh, yet full of sensuality and elegance in every note. I think it’s right for any occasion. The longevity is ideal for me; it lasts up to 12 hours.

  • I stay fresh all day; even if I sweat a bit, the fragrance remains there to make me feel at my best. It’s one of the best for daytime wear.

  • A sweet yet soft scent, with citrus notes that blend perfectly with woods, mint, and vetiver, plus that touch of alcoholic beverage. Everything is well-mixed; nothing overpowers. Elegant and versatile, ideal for summer given its moderate trail. Suitable for men aged 24 and above. A good option compared to very mass-market daily fragrances like 212, Acqua di Gio, or L’Eau d’Issey.

A youthful and stylish scent, quite a masterpiece! It has everything I look for in a summer fragrance: fresh, citrusy at first, with spiced water notes. On my skin (which smells nice on its own, I humbly admit), it clings beautifully, leaving a trail of woods and soft vetiver, with a pleasant dusty, earthy base. Towards the end, the liquor note takes over, sealing a fragrance that doesn’t give the impression of being for older gentlemen. Extra tip: Pronunciation in Spanish is GuerLAin (stressed on the last syllable); in English, GUERlan; in French, GUERla (all stressed on the last syllable).

A youthful aroma in a stylish bottle. For me, it’s a masterpiece, sublime; everything I could expect from a summer fragrance is here. Very fresh and citrusy from the start, with subtle spiced water and fresh aromas. On my skin, which smells super good without perfume (humbly), it adheres very well, emitting a woody sillage and a soft vetiver with an almost powdery earthy base, very pleasant and harmonious. At the end, the liquor note present in its heart dominates, sealing a fragrance that certainly doesn’t leave the impression of being for older men. Extra fact: Pronunciation in Spanish: GuerLAin (stressed on the second syllable). In English: GUERlan (stressed on the second syllable). In French: GUERla (stressed on the second syllable).

  • Greetings. Since I bought this fragrance, I must say I fell in love with it. It’s not the eighth wonder, but it is very good. It has great longevity, although with moderate-to-low sillage, at least in my case, but on clothes it lasts until the next day. It’s for those seeking something not so common and original, not so commercial and mass-produced as Carolina 212, 1 Million, Invictus, Hugo Boss, Issey, Perry Ellis 360 Red, Acqua di Gio, etc.

  • I liked it. It seems like another fragrance that doesn’t follow trends. It’s very fresh and gives that refreshing drink sensation, like a mojito. I think my taste for Guerlain has changed. My favourite is Heritage, but I could put this in second place, unless I end up liking Boisee more, although I haven’t tried it yet. It’s more versatile and can be used for any occasion, something that doesn’t happen with Ideal, L’Instant, or Habit Rouge. Preferably for daytime use, and I see it suitable for any age. On my skin, it lasted between five and six hours. I see it as perfect for the office, as it’s not intrusive.

  • Guerlain Homme is a refreshing citrus cocktail thanks to the combination of lime, mint, and mojito as main notes, along with bergamot and rum in the heart, achieving a touch of freshness and joviality that few fragrances match. I own the L’Eau de Boisée version, the first one I bought and the one I searched for to find its signature scent. For me, Guerlain Homme is for personal enjoyment, as its sillage isn’t among the most extensive and its longevity leaves something to be desired, but it is definitely a great fragrance. If not for those two details, it would be a masterpiece. I enjoy it for about four hours; afterwards, it becomes very intimate and subtle, almost imperceptible. Ideal for spring and summer, casual and daytime use. You can wear it everywhere; it’s not offensive or scandalous. Between this and L’Eau de Boisée, I prefer the latter, but as a fellow enthusiast said, with just a reapplication, you continue to enjoy this singular aroma. It’s a pity you can’t always take your favourite fragrance everywhere.

Instant seduction. So instant that I bought it immediately. It leaves me with the sensation of Chanel’s Allure Homme Édition Blanche; they are very similar, except this one has a firmer base, making it more long-lasting. The citrus feels very natural, a honeyed citrus aroma. Some people say it smells like ‘little girl’, haha.

The opening is sparkling and cheerful with refreshing lime and mint, plus a soft bergamot. The heart deepens that impression with the mojito note (white rum, sugar, peppermint) and I didn’t smell much rum when it dried down, nor did I detect the floral. At the end, soft cedar and vetiver. It’s a soft woody-aromatic, fresh, ideal for summer or spring and daytime use. It achieves the freshness of a sip of mojito. The vetiver feels younger than in other Guerlain proposals. It gives a sense of cleanliness, like just coming out of the shower. It’s not very intrusive and serves for working in enclosed spaces or for professionals who can’t use potent fragrances. The trail is medium to weak, but the longevity is good, around twelve hours, although the last few hours are felt close to the skin. It works better with a known partner who gets close to appreciate the residual scent.

Sparkling and cheerful opening with lime, refreshing mint, and soft bergamot. The heart deepens that impression with the mojito note (white rum, sugar, peppermint), and I didn’t detect much rum on its own, plus there’s a soft floral touch. Finally, faint cedar and vetiver. It’s a soft, fresh aromatic woody scent, ideal for summer or spring, for daytime use. It achieves that mojito drink freshness. The vetiver feels younger than in other Guerlain offerings. It gives a sense of cleanliness, as if just out of the shower; it’s not intrusive and suits working in enclosed spaces or professionals who can’t wear potent fragrances. The sillage ranges from moderate to weak, but the longevity is good, around twelve hours, although the last few hours are skin-scent only. It works better with a close partner who can get near enough to appreciate the residual aroma.

  • A perfectly crafted mojito. It smells exactly what it is: lime, mint, and mojito. Obviously, it’s for younger people and casual evening wear. It’s well-blended, neither too strong nor too sweet. For me, it’s not that masculine, but that’s normal for that niche. It lasted between four and six hours on my skin. I like the top notes, but not the base. 7/10. To be honest, I think Guerlain could have done a better job with this.

  • Excellent fragrance, very fresh with a natural sweetness. The mint and lime blend is reminiscent of a mojito, and then the sweet, woody base kicks in. It’s a work of art; with body heat, it activates when you think it’s running out. It lasted eight hours on my skin. The sillage isn’t the best, staying moderate to low throughout the day. I recommend it wholeheartedly; it’s unique and one-of-a-kind.

  • Smells good, with an explosive and citrusy opening, but the only thing that doesn’t suit me are the dry-down notes; they seem like those lemon fly swatters. After a few minutes, it softens with faint woods and a hint of mint, like an infusion. Try before you buy. Sillage and longevity are moderate, leaning towards low. My rating: 6.

  • Guerlain has earned its place in my collection. Among the house’s men’s fragrances, this is one of my favourites: it has good longevity and a medium sillage (which is perfect for me). It’s like a high-class butler: always there when needed, without making a fuss or being intrusive. You can tell the ingredients are quality, fine, and in harmony. I wear it in summer, spring, and autumn. Someone on the forum said Guerlain didn’t intend to make high-sillage fragrances (and that’s rude), and I agree, but it’s there when you need it. Is it sophisticated? Personally, I think so. It’s a great fragrance. Versatility: 8, Sillage: 6, Longevity: 8.

  • Guerlain has firmly secured its place in my collection. Among the entire men’s line, this is one of my favourites: good longevity and a moderate sillage, exactly what I need. It’s like a high-class butler: it appears when asked, without making a fuss or being intrusive. The ingredients are of high quality and blend harmoniously. I wear it in summer, spring, and autumn. A fellow enthusiast noted that Guerlain doesn’t aim for massive projection (and they’re right, it’s about good manners), yet it’s there when you need it. Is it sophisticated? For me, yes. A great perfume. Versatility: 8, Sillage: 6, Longevity: 8.

  • The word ‘Homme’ in Guerlain implies a great commitment, as it defines the brand’s image and philosophy towards the male gender. In my experience with my second bottle, it’s a scent that puts people in a good mood around it: it’s not intransigent or loud. Its mint and citrus are perceived as a Mojito served in a wooden glass, with a clean, slightly floral, relaxed, and positive aroma. It’s fresh, almost luminous, with a bitterness achieved thanks to the musk and geranium. Projection is medium-low depending on each person’s pH. It’s almost for all seasons, although I haven’t tried it in winter yet and it seems too fresh for then. Guerlain Homme is a great fragrance, a tremendous proposal well described by others. Highly recommended and, if you collect, almost mandatory.

  • The word ‘Homme’ in any brand implies a huge commitment: to give image and presence, to project the brand’s philosophy and its view on gender. If we combine Guerlain and Homme, this is what we have. In my personal experience, with my second bottle, it’s a scent that puts those around me in a good mood. It’s not intrusive or loud. Its beautiful blend of mint and citrus feels like a mojito served in a wooden glass: a clean scent, slightly floral, relaxed and positive. Fresh and almost luminous, with a well-achieved slight bitterness thanks to the musk and geranium. The projection is medium to low depending on each person’s pH. It’s almost for 4 seasons, unless there’s a better opinion; I haven’t tried it in winter yet and it seems too fresh. Guerlain Homme is a great fragrance, a tremendous proposal already well described by several. Highly recommended and, if you collect, almost a must-have.

I have the luck of owning a bottle of this scent, with that aluminium part on the label indicating it’s an old version. It went unnoticed for a long time until it captivated me. At first I felt it was simplistic, but then it develops green, slightly peppery, mentholated, and citrusy nuances on the skin. It’s soft and delicate, but very long-lasting. In the background, it smells clean. It’s easy to wear and makes you feel good. Note: with over-application the result is interesting.

  • The intensity and longevity are moderate in a fragrance that hasn’t won me over. I associate the Mojito strongly with peppermint, and here there’s little trace. The rum, as usually happens, doesn’t come across very realistically. Everything rests on a base of musks and woods, with those chemical scents that create custom profiles. It’s not a disaster, but simply it doesn’t work for me.

  • The opening is confusing: in the first few seconds you think you’ll love it, but then it smells strange, almost like food. After half an hour it stabilises and turns out to be citrusy but odd. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s hard to define; it seems like a cheap cologne trying to look expensive or an essence experiment. Then it’s very pleasant, but that deranged opening might make you discard it immediately.

  • It has a very confusing opening. In the first five seconds, you think you’ll love it, and then instantly you don’t know what you’re smelling because it becomes something strange, almost food-like. After half an hour, it stabilises and looks much better. It’s citrusy but mostly odd. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s hard to define: it seems like a mix between cheap cologne trying to look expensive and an essence experiment. Then it’s very pleasant, but that deranged opening could make you discard it immediately.

  • Guerlain Homme opens with the Mojito accord: sweet lime, mint, and rum. It’s pleasant and arouses interest. Then the rum takes over, and cedar and vetiver enter, adding complexity. Imagine a beach bar where alcohol drips over cedar and vetiver under the sun; the scent is intense in waves. The dry down is sharp but becomes subtle. The trail is low after the first hour, although longevity varies between 3 and 6 hours. It doesn’t work with intense heat; better in spring. The woody notes and rum also make it suitable for cold weather. Elegant and distinctive. Rating: 3.5/5.

  • For those seeking something fresh with a woody twist in its evolution. When it launched, the advertising and the fame of including the Mojito attracted many curious buyers. It sold well, but it wasn’t and isn’t groundbreaking. It’s citrusy with cedar and vetiver giving it a generic classicism. Ideal for the day and the heat, perfect for work. It’s wearable and will please, but it lacks sensuality and warmth; it’s not for seducing and has no edge. Thierry Wasser is a good perfumer and gives it a classic nuance, but calling it youthful and groundbreaking is another story. I bought it years ago for the heat, but that generic woody citrus doesn’t suit my style. It will please vetiver lovers. In the end, it’s the scent that remains on my skin: classic, daytime, and formal.

  • I bought it in 2014 and smelled it again today; it has changed immensely. It no longer lasts or projects as before, nor does it even smell the same. The old version always won me compliments; it had that touch of L’Instant de Guerlain when dry: one of hazelnut and chocolate, the other citrus, but with the same essence.

  • Krishnamurti

An underrated fragrance I stumbled upon in a exclusive US store. Its opening is potent, alcoholic, and straight to the point: it’s like rubbing the essence of a Mojito on your face. It then evolves into sweet citrus, green and earthy vetiver, and a rum base that completes it. It’s a linear blend with an exquisite trail but little volume or longevity (around 2-3 hours). It doesn’t smell like perfume, but like an experience: a beach bar, sun, breeze, and positivity. A friend asked me to buy it for him at a barbecue, but I refused because it’s original and hard to find. Do you need a holiday or an alcoholic aroma? If you’re looking for something fresh, herbal, and classic, and you can find it cheap, buy it without hesitation.

  • In short, it’s a pure citrus fragrance with a very realistic lime note and a sweet touch, over a base that recalls a barbershop. Very pleasant and masculine; I see it as perfect for the heat. Longevity is moderate, let’s say light, but the scent is ten out of ten.

  • uruguay(2018)

Guerlain Homme is an olfactory luxury: citrus, mint, rum, and wood blend into a sublime experience. The problem is that it doesn’t last long and lacks projection; it’s ideal for a shower, a quick application, and then enjoying it in solitude for a while. I love the brand, but this fragrance disappointed me regarding its longevity. I’ll keep it to let it oxidise until the end of the year. Best regards.
