  It was my first Delacourte purchase and it was a wonder, as I had tried the discovery set of their Vanilla collection. I already knew what to expect and it was fantastic to have it in a 100ml bottle. If you like citrus and gourmand vanilla, this is a must-have. It opens with an almost edible fruity sweetness. Also enjoy the dry-down if you like its notes: osmanthus, orange blossom, mandarin, tonka… and that intense, organic vanilla. Here there is nothing synthetic, forced, or off-tone. The trail is moderate to wide, never cloying, but quite the opposite; you want more and more. It is an Eau de Parfum with several hours of longevity, no more than 7-8. I am super happy; the bottle is a dream, with a heavy and fine cap. You can see the care and dedication. My definitive favourite among Sylvaine Delacourte’s vanillas.

  Divine, warm, and modern, with supreme quality that smells like a synchronised yet free dance. It’s like a charming music accompanying the day with a regular and lasting rhythm. An appreciated vanilla among acidic notes that give freshness and that sublime essence of white orange blossom. A bit addictive because of how rich it is. Out of the thousands of vanillas that exist, this is the dream one. I adore it.

  The opening doesn’t quite suit me; it’s fruity but has an old-world air, probably due to the osmanthus, something that happens with several fragrances for me. The dry-down is indeed an exquisite and elegant vanilla, with warm tonka and a barely perceptible touch of tobacco. On my skin, it doesn’t project much; only the first half-hour is noticeable, but the delicious dry-down clings to the skin to be enjoyed in private or if someone comes close to smell it. It’s a lovely vanilla, but with so many similar options these days, I wouldn’t buy it.

  At first, I thought it was olive, and then, boom!, osmanthus. I can’t stop noticing that olive note.
