Sylvaine Delacourte is a prominent perfumer and fragrance entrepreneur, captivated by the world of scent since her earliest years. Delacourte’s passion and talent for creating exceptional fragrances have paved the way for her success in the industry. Sylvaine Delacourte began her career in the fragrance industry as Creative Director of Perfumes at Guerlain. During her 15-year tenure, she created more than 70 perfumes, including Insolence and the first version of La Petite Robe Noire. Delacourte was also responsible for designing Custom Design Perfumes for Guerlain’s VIP clients. Some of the most popular fragrances composed by Delacourte include Guerlain Insolence, Guerlain L'Instant Magic, Guerlain Insolence Eau de Parfum and Guerlain Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin. Her approach to perfume creation focuses on evoking emotions, surprising and seducing those who wear her fragrances. Her style includes faceted, refined and delicate scents, as a contrast to potent and overpowering aromas. In 2017, Sylvaine Delacourte launched her own brand with an innovative concept in the industry. Focusing on the most iconic raw materials, she presented each in five original and unexpected forms, giving them new and unique personalities. This approach resulted in surprising combinations, such as Green Musk and Spicy Vanilla. Sylvaine Delacourte’s fragrances are made 100% in France, cruelty-free, and are composed of more than 80% natural ingredients.
