  Wet leather that dries into an amber and resinous scent, with a cypress freshness that makes it fruity, like a sour grapefruit. Very wearable and unisex.

  Delicious and spicy: tobacco, amber, cinnamon, sandalwood, tonka, benzoin, and honey. More versatile than it seems; Dries Van Noten perfumes are perfectly balanced, subtle, and long-lasting, nothing ‘beast mode’. Ideal for frequent use, although the bottle invites you to keep it. They don’t tire and have no gender. I use it in layering to add depth to florals. I would like Rock the Myrrh to feature more of the floral accord, as the rose and iris get lost. The honey is subtle and contributes to the amber character.

They are very wearable and don’t tire, suitable for men and women without gender bias. I use it in layering to add depth to floral scents. I would like Rock the Myrrh to feature more of the floral accord, as the rose and iris get lost among the notes, although the honey subtly contributes to that amber touch.

  It’s now my second full bottle. At first, with the discovery set, it didn’t convince me at all, but I gave it another chance and it won over my complete attention, even surpassing others I preferred. It is strong yet soft at once: an intense, mysterious, and sophisticated scent where myrrh leads a dance with resins and patchouli. Despite this, it is light, nothing invasive, and super versatile; you can wear it to the office or a dinner without anyone feeling overwhelmed. The downside is that the longevity and sillage aren’t the best. Think of it as an intimate piece of art.

My journey with this perfume was interesting; I didn’t like it when trying the discovery set, but I gave it another opportunity and it completely won me over, choosing it over others I liked more. It is strong and soft at once: an intense, mysterious, and sophisticated aroma with great texture, where myrrh dances with resins and patchouli in a fascinating way. Despite everything, it is light, nothing invasive, and very versatile; you wear it to the office or a dinner without anyone feeling overwhelmed. Its counterpoint is that the longevity and sillage aren’t high. Understand it as an intimate and subtle piece of art.
