It took me ages to track it down while it was discontinued, but now that I have it, I’m more than happy. It’s a very special perfume: at first it’s fresh and intensely green, transporting you to a Greek field on a summer morning. Over time it shifts to floral, with exquisite jasmine, a juicy orchid, and I think cyclamen too, as if the field suddenly bloomed. Finally, a perfect sweetness arrives with tonka bean and vanilla, with a woody touch. Undoubtedly it’s for summer, fresh yet sweet; it seems like a marvel, the scent of a Greek goddess.
I adored this fragrance: fresh and elegant. It’s a pity it’s been discontinued; I hope they bring it back or I can find an identical substitute. It was perfect, except that to achieve that scent and longevity, you had to apply quite a lot, so the bottle didn’t last long. Nevertheless, it was one of my favourites.
Of all I’ve tried, this was my absolute favourite. I can’t find it anywhere now, what a shame. I really hope they launch something similar; I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
A great perfume from the 90s and one of my favourites. I still don’t understand why the men’s version is still sold and not this one. A few years ago I managed to get a new bottle but it was already oxidised, a real pity. Fresh and fruity, a true classic.
A true 90s classic and one of my favourites. I don’t understand why they still sell the men’s version instead of this. I managed to get a bottle years ago but it had already gone off, what a shame. It smells of fresh fruit.
A wonderful trip back to the past, to an unforgettable decade. A perfume that reminds me of brilliant moments, friends who are no longer with us, endless nights where the queen was darkness, real music, and the urge to eat the world. Precious nights squeezed to the maximum, where everything was about enjoying melodies, friends, loves that drove you mad, and forgetting the week’s troubles. And there was her and this perfume. Describing this emotion, even though much time has passed and our paths diverged, still manages to move me. I was in love with everything about her, from how she spoke to how she smoked a cigarette. When her lips touched mine for the first time with Sculpture, I felt like I was the protagonist of a fairytale and nothing else existed. I felt a knot in my stomach, a racing heart, extraordinary happiness. The magic of this perfume, with a warm opening, subtly floral and fruity, before turning into a sweet cheesecake with vanilla. In my opinion, it’s superior to the men’s version, with more natural notes, a strange blend of salty tarragon mitigated with sweet fruits. It seems to jump from place to place as it settles on the skin. It’s not unpleasant, but different. You can feel it like a lemon falling into whipped cream with green sprigs, slightly floral, powdery and dry, but all moderate and harmonious. Towards the end, a light, warm sweetness with lots of vanilla sugar. The dry-down is warm, rich, and full of ylang-ylang, like being wrapped in soft sheets, offering sweet and sparkling freshness. Longevity is 8-10 hours, perceptible until the very end. If you can find a version from 1994-2000, you’ll love it. Don’t forget it’s totally feminine, nothing unisex; in my case, it’s astonishing to discover how a perfume can make you relive lost sensations.
I’d never heard anything like it, and judging by the notes, I wouldn’t have expected much, but I bought it straight off the shelf and used it drop by drop for special nights. I suppose it suited me, as it was praised so highly. I didn’t think of switching until it was discontinued and Duende took its place (which I also adore, though it didn’t last long). It seems moderate on top, but I don’t know why; it was potent, one of those where you walk into a room and someone shouts ‘you smell wonderful’ from two metres away. Fortunately, my friends were also wearing their own perfumes from other eras, haha. As for longevity… it lasted a night out at the disco (when people still smoked) and the next day it was still there, not just on clothes but on the skin too. Personally, I don’t dwell on its notes because I’m a complete layman in perfumes. To me, it’s simply a beautiful aura that envelops you, something like One Thousand and One Nights, but green and golden rather than blue. Herbaceous and yellow it certainly smells. The Apollonian and blue presentation doesn’t quite fit, but it’s a beauty, nothing like most of what’s out there today. They cared for every tiny detail, both inside and out. It’s a shame that the ones I can get now are already fading; time doesn’t forgive.
I’d never heard anything like it (not even La Perla) and, judging by the notes, it wouldn’t have caught my eye, but I bought it straight away and used it sparingly for special nights. I suppose it suited me, as I was praised for it greatly. I couldn’t imagine using anything else until it was discontinued and replaced by Duende (which I also adore, though it didn’t last long). They list it as moderate up there, but I don’t know why; it was potent, the kind where you walk into a room and someone shouts ‘you smell amazing’ from more than two metres away. Fortunately, my friends were also wearing their own scents, and it was a different era, haha. As for longevity… it lasted a night out at the disco (when people actually smoked) and the next day it was still there, not just on clothes but on the skin too. Personally, I wouldn’t dwell on its notes because I’m a complete layman when it comes to perfumes. To me, it’s simply a beautiful aura that envelops you. Something like One Thousand and One Nights, but a green and golden aura, if you’ll allow me, rather than blue. Herbaceous and yellow, yes, that’s what it smells like. The Apollonian and blue presentation, like so often, doesn’t quite fit, but it’s a beauty, nothing like what we have today. They took care of every little detail, both inside and out. It’s a pity that the ones I can find now are already fading; time doesn’t forgive.
I cannot understand how this masterpiece has vanished, while they still keep the men’s version. If I think of a Greek island in the Aegean, this scent is the one that best captures it; we are not talking of citrus freshness, but of classical Greece, the cradle of democracy, harmonious architecture, and great art. I have acquired two exquisite miniatures that I will keep like diamonds to smell from time to time and transport myself to a mythical culture.
For those who don’t get why they sell the men’s version and not the woman’s, it’s simple: supply and demand. We buy the men’s one because we like it, even if the scent lasts only two seconds. It makes a good gift, smells nice, the bottle looks great, and the longevity is decent despite the price. It’s a pity that women’s perfumes are the most discontinued compared to men’s, for the reasons I’ve already stated.
