  I admit I’m not objective about this, as it’s far from my usual tastes. I give it a like, not a love, because although it smells good and lasts well, my subjectivity holds me back. The opening is rare, like when you’re cooking vegetables for a stew; a strong green, as if you’d been slapped with a handful of kale, cabbage, and chard. Then it evolves, becoming aromatic and easy to wear, but without much more, like other herbs and vetiver that cost a fifth of the price. The quality smells good and lasts well for what it is, but the projection is moderate, almost skin-deep. Upon drying, an acidic and sharp note stands out, giving it originality but also a synthetic vibe, like some cleaner or air freshener I can’t quite place. Unisex, ideal for daily wear in summer and spring. Not my style, but if you like greens, it could be recommended. Scent: 6, Longevity: 7.5, Projection: 6, Originality: 8, Versatility: 9, Value for money: 4 (good quality but doesn’t justify the price), Overall: 7.

  Super direct fragrance: pure hay. If you don’t like that note, steer clear of Erawan. Although it promises freshness, the hay is so dominant that the other notes are barely noticeable; the balance fails. It’s a less dense version of Le Labo’s The Noir, but with that skin-deep floral vibe.
