Cousin of the Koubli Khan musk. I don’t feel much oud, but rather the feeling of dirty, faecal musk wrapped in beeswax from Lutens.
When I got a full bottle at a ridiculous price, I thought: delighted to go against the grain!. They say it smells of cat urine and is for hard hearts, only for intimacy. Nothing could be further from the truth. With caution, I tried it and I loved it. The second time I finished the sample and I can’t stop until I bring more. It’s a sweet oud with an animalic touch from the civet (especially at the start) and powdered flowers. Like everything good, it requires patience. It’s a beast in longevity, less in projection, but you don’t go unnoticed; people will ask what you’re wearing. Even though it’s hot, it works great and highlights the floral side more. Very unique and original, worth trying cheap samples to discover that going against the grain doesn’t mean being wrong.
Sometimes it seems like you’re wearing a different perfume than the others review. I re-read the label: yes, it’s Dusita’s Oudh Infini. The controversy over its scatological smell decided me to buy it, despite the price. Today it’s very cold and I’m preparing not to go out. Where would I go with an arsehole smell? It releases a scent that permeates the wrist, but forgive me… where are the powers? It smells of soft, innocent powdered roses. Where is the animalic oud and rotten wood? I’ll have to try it another day. I’m not satisfied with this price, continues…
A friend brought me a decant from Los Angeles. I only use it when I’m alone because ordinary people find it unpleasant; it smells animalic and of civet secretion. On my skin, it lasts little, barely the first hour. It reminds me a lot of Al Haramain’s Oudh Cambodi (I also used that in solitude).
This is a challenging animal fragrance. The first hours smell of dirty oud with civet, while the green, spring-like May rose takes time to emerge. If you’re willing to endure hours of smelling like a donkey until the flower appears, then it’s for you.
Challenging animalic fragrance. For the first few hours, it only smells of extremely dirty oud with civet. Behind it waits a sharp, green, spring-like May rose, but it takes a while to emerge. You have to endure it for a long time until the rose appears. If you’re willing to smell like a donkey for several hours until the rose comes out, it’s your perfume.
Very dirty opening due to the oud, almost linear at first. The first minutes smell of faecal and animalic oud, boosted by the civet. Then, a sharp, bright rose appears quickly to give the star contrast that I love so much. After that battle between the dirty and the floral, it settles into sweet, musky notes with a vanilla base. What a pity it’s no longer sold in many places; it’s in danger of extinction.
It opens with a filthy, animalic oud that gives you vertigo, boosted by civet, but soon a sharp, bright rose saves it. After this rollercoaster between the wild and the sweet, with a vanilla base, it’s a pity it’s no longer available; it’s endangered.
Brutal fragrance. I was wrong to think it was dirty or difficult; on the contrary, it’s crisp and refined amongst my ouds. The opening is potent, with animalic notes and roses, like winning the Champions League for lovers of the rose-oud duo. Then, the oud and civet unfold subtly without saturating. It’s mysterious, seductive, and perfect for making a mark at special events or with a leather jacket. Nocturnal, serious, and for people with character, ideal over 35. Moderate longevity, about 8 hours with 5 sprays. Scent: 10/10, Sillage: 7.5/10, Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 6.5/10
