A delicious perfume featuring white flowers, neroli and jasmine over a sweet base. As an extrait de parfum, I find it a little light. It resembles Tom Ford’s Jasmin Rouge or Frédéric Malle’s Carnal Flower, but much softer; it would be their daytime and summer version. It has a more soapy touch: where Malle uses coconut and Ford uses woods, Dusita relies heavily on musk, which, when dry, smells of soapy jasmine. The flowers are clean, with none of the dirty or animalic jasmine usually found. Longevity is good, but the trail is discreet. As a floral, I see it as unisex, although men who dislike florals might not find it suitable. The scent quality is high, though I wouldn’t purchase it myself as I’m a fan of Carnal Flower and prefer that aroma. It could be recommended if Malle’s jasmine proves too sweet and intense for you. I’d wear it during the day with elegant attire, suitable for any season. It’s versatile but classic and lacks much originality. Scent: 7.5, Longevity: 8, Trail: 6, Originality: 5, Value: 5, Overall: 7.5
A rich perfume centred on white flowers, neroli and jasmine over a sweet base. As an extrait de parfum, I find it quite light. It feels like the daytime and summer sibling of Tom Ford’s Jasmin Rouge or Frédéric Malle’s Carnal Flower, but softer with a soapy edge. Where Malle uses coconut and Ford uses woods, Dusita loads up on musk, which, upon drying, gives a sensation of soapy jasmine. Its white flowers are clean, devoid of the dirty, animalic jasmine often found in others. Longevity is good, though the trail is discreet. Being a floral, I see it as totally unisex, though men who can’t handle florals might not get it. The quality is high, although I wouldn’t buy it myself as I’m an absolute fan of Carnal Flower and would stick with that scent. It could be recommended if Malle’s jasmine feels too sweet and intense for you. I’d wear it daily for elegant events or any time of year. Versatile but classic and not particularly original. Scent: 7.5, Longevity: 8, Trail: 6, Originality: 5, Value: 5, Overall: 7.5
I absolutely love jasmine; it brings back memories of my great love in Málaga. I adore the scent, but not on my own skin, as it tends to turn sour on me. While it’s not the opening jasmine I was looking for, it has won me over: it’s delicious and narcotic. The honey note is quite noticeable without being cloying. If you like florals, especially white ones, this addictive and well-crafted scent will surely delight you. Ideal for spring and summer; I wouldn’t consider it masculine despite being marketed as unisex. Longevity is 6 hours, projection around 1.5m. If I had a sister or my mother, I’d gift this so they could wear it often, but it simply doesn’t represent me.
