  The third chapter of Kilian’s “L’Ouvre Noire”, “Beyond Love: Prohibited”, seeks that realistic and intense love after the daydream. But for my nose, which is not affectionate towards tropical notes, that coconut note is almost intoxicating and the tuberose very demanding. I tried it on the creator’s recommendation, but the result is a difficult companion: a warm, dense and almost milky fragrance that, in my case, makes love impossible. Ideal for coconut lovers who want an invasive trail that arrives early and stays afterwards.

  “Beyond Love: Prohibited” is the third chapter of Kilian’s “L’Ouvre Noire” collection. When fantasy fades and more realistic, less sweet but more intense emotions remain. I imagine he aimed to capture that romantic state, but its second name is what I feel on my skin: the potent coconut is almost intoxicating, impossible for a nose that struggles with tropical notes. I tried it because of the creator, but this invasive coconut mixed with a demanding tuberose makes it a very difficult companion. For me, love here is impossible. It is a very warm and dense fragrance, almost milky, ideal only for coconut lovers or those seeking a trail that arrives early and lingers long.

  On my skin, the neroli dominates, but that amber and coconut blend smells more like a luxury lounge ambience than a personal fragrance. It feels as though the setting is the protagonist, not the romance. There is no warmth or love, only a sophisticated yet distant air.

  On my skin, neroli dominates and a very unpleasant amber-coconut blend, which smells more like a sophisticated room freshener than a personal perfume. Beyond love, this scent evokes a place, with nothing of romance, warmth or allure.
