I bought it blind based on the notes, but I expected something different. The opening is cinnamon cookie and I like that, but it lasts only half an hour (very little) before turning into a playdough smell by the end.
At first, it smells like nothing, but then it’s a nut and almond cake with a hint of cinnamon and caramel. It’s not cloying, lacks projection and longevity, but I’ve never smelled anything quite like this. As a gourmand fan, I was longing for a scent where almond doesn’t dominate everything with its marzipan note. It smells exactly what I expected from Jousset’s Pecan Pie. A wonderful find for under $20.
