After reading the notes, I thought it was curious, but I never imagined I’d like it so much. At first, it’s strong and peculiar due to the green leaves and bergamot; I don’t find the cinnamon as invasive. Then it mellows, and the carrot, violet, and jasmine appear (thank goodness, I’m not a fan). It’s a carrot cake that blends with the base notes, very gourmand. Finally, the cake, vanilla, musk, and hay dominate: basically a picnic in the countryside with cookies. It’s tender, sweet but not cloying, with a dusty vintage touch from the patchouli and almonds. For me, it’s a delight, especially usable in the evening. All the perfumes are unisex, but this one leans feminine due to its sweetness. I can’t wait to get the bottle. On paper, it lasts a long time: I applied it at 2 pm, and the next day at the same time, it was still noticeable.
Rabbit is an interesting fragrance where the hay, spiced carrot cake, and lots of cinnamon with patchouli dominate once it settles. In its opening, I find it wild and somewhat rural. Whenever I write a review, I’ve tested the perfume for days and worn it when writing it. Now it reminds me of my German grandmother in her Black Forest home, making her Linzer Torte and other Christmas sweets. That’s why I find it as tender as a rabbit’s fur. Although it’s not for me, I keep it to reminisce about family moments. They say it’s more feminine, but I think it would be attractive on a man. Note ratings out of 3 on my skin: Cake: 2, Vanilla: 2, Carrot: 2, Hay: 3, Cinnamon: 3, Patchouli: 3.
The sample has just arrived, and along with T-rex and Bee, they are my favourites. The opening smells of cinnamon, dusty flowers, and a super-sweet vanilla cookie in a field of hay (which smells like chamomile, if you’ve had rabbits you’ll know 😂). Once it settles, the cinnamon fades and the violet and sweet carrot rise, a true gourmand where the hay is more noticeable and the scent changes drastically. I love it. The projection is poorer than with Moth and T-rex, but it’s worth it. The longevity is excellent: 8-10 hours in summer with just one spray on skin, and even longer on clothes.
A challenging opening, green scent with an animalic touch. The dry-down is delicious: carrot cake with vanilla cream and a citrus note that cuts the cloying sweetness, plus a pinch of patchouli that makes it sexy and sophisticated. It’s not just a gourmand fragrance; I never imagined I’d like it so much.
The first time I smelled it, it reminded me of a little rabbit cage, and to be honest, I felt sorry thinking about them in captivity, haha. But it really does convey the habitat. I agree that the opening is super green; I detect the apple and bergamot among sharper notes. After a while, it softens, and I’m left with the hay and patchouli, along with a piece of carrot cake with almonds and powdered sugar, which lingers until the end of the fragrance. On me, it’s super long-lasting on skin and projects constantly, albeit softly. Without a doubt, a strange but mega-magical gourmand. I’m still looking for the right occasion to wear it.
