Summer Hammer by Lorenzo Pazzaglia is a fragrance from the olfactive family for men and women. Launched in 2023, the nose behind this creation is Lorenzo Pazzaglia. The top notes reveal mango, pineapple, coconut, bergamot and white rum; the heart unfolds coconut milk, white flowers and marine notes; while the base settles with musk, sandalwood, amber and vetiver.

  • It performs very well and smells about 80% like God of Fire by SHL. The coconut and rum notes come through in the dry-down. It’s a tropical scent, so it’s best suited for extreme heat, but to my nose it reads as unisex, leaning slightly feminine.

  • Marmoleria Universal

I just tested this scent on one hand. It’s a fruity bomb. On the other hand, I applied a more masculine performance fragrance (I won’t name it, though it was also a bit of a mess). I’m saying that, despite this sweet-scented perfume feeling very striking in cold weather in my country, it’s expensive for me at least, but I would love to have it in my collection.

  • Calschpenalista

A piña colada with mango bottled as perfume. Exquisite, addictive, and bombastic; I absolutely love it. Lorenzo Pazzaglia is my favourite perfume house; he has other excellent fruity fragrances like Pax or Extrema Pasión, but Summer Hammer is my favourite of that type.

A piña colada with mango made into perfume. Exquisite, addictive, and bombastic—I love it. Lorenzo Pazzaglia is my favourite perfume house; they have other excellent fruity fragrances like Pax or Extrema Pasión, but Summer Hammer is my favourite of that type.

  • It didn’t quite grab me; it needed more piña colada and less mango. I sprayed it like a madman—six sprays of a decant—and at work, people told me three times I’d overdone it. I felt fine, but the trail is intense. Edit: In the end, I liked it. The only drawback is the price. It smells 50% mango and 50% floral.

This is an absolute bomb. I ordered a 5ml decant and doubt I’ll buy the bottle because four sprays last forever, projecting like a beast with twelve hours of longevity. If you love ultra-sweet perfumes, this Summer Hammer is a fruity bomb with fleshy mango, juicy pineapple, and coconut that makes you want to eat it. It’s unisex, leaning feminine. Don’t be fooled by its opening; once it dries, it reveals an almost metrosexual side that smells like a feminine fragrance, but the rum makes it easier for a man to wear. Compliments won’t be hard to come by; it turns heads more often than not. Once you pull the trigger, it’s versatile, suitable for any season and occasion except formal events. Performance 10/10, Projection 10/10, Sillage 9/10, Scent 8/10. Overall 9.5/10. If you don’t like almost-feminine and/or tropical sweet scents, stay well away from this, it’s a proper stinker.

Soft tropical musk, subtle alcoholic rum with sandalwood and a creamy base. In short, the coconut stands out more than any other fruity note. Mango and pineapple are pronounced at first but fade a little, although their sweet, syrupy fruity sweetness persists behind the coconut. A slight powdery effect takes over the blend, accompanied by a thick sandalwood and intense musk. It’s the first tropical fragrance I’ve found and it’s different. It doesn’t stray from the bronzing lotion vibe in this category, but leans towards a piña colada; the rum isn’t strong but enough for another layer of complexity. Projection and longevity are through the roof as always! Totally unisex, anyone can wear it! Good fragrance.

  • This is potent; it’s a fruity bomb where mango predominates with a touch of rum at the start, like Fan Your Flames by Nishane. It’s very sweet; I wouldn’t classify it as a daytime summer scent because it can become overwhelming if you overdo the sprays, but it can be used in any season if you’re careful. In the dry down, mango remains the protagonist, but I sensed a smoky touch on me. I agree with a previous review: I wouldn’t buy the bottle, not because the price isn’t excessive, but I wouldn’t finish it myself 😌.

Finally found the brown beast of Lorenzo Pazzaglia! It’s Summer Hammer. Unlike other scents from the brand, my experience is the opposite. Speaking of my skin: the opening is a bomb of tropical fruits, very sweet, mango and pineapple first, reminding me a lot of the Bogoss version of Vibrant Leather by Zara. That initial power drops quickly; in my case, the projection was moderate. I work in a closed environment and people asked, but today no one noticed the pineapple smell, hehe. Occasionally I felt bursts, with behaviour similar to Baccarat Rouge on my body. It smells of fruit throughout the dry down, easy and friendly, not annoying to anyone. What did surprise me was the longevity: I applied it 14 hours ago and, although it no longer projects, I can feel it stuck to my wrist if I bring it close to my nose. In terms of longevity, it’s the beast of the house, eating up the others. I agree it’s summery but not especially fresh, so it goes all year round. I see it more for informal situations than for a suit. It’s perfect for summer nights out, that’s where it shines.

First time trying it, I won’t go into detail so as not to be influenced by other reviews. Upon application, it’s a bomb due to its power. A seductive gourmand aroma where mango predominates, accompanied by pineapple and bergamot citrus; coconut softens in the third layer. It’s unisex but I see it as more masculine; the rum helps. Designed for summer but it goes all year round. I recommend it more for outdoors due to its enormous projection; you don’t want the whole office to smell like you. Surprisingly, the longevity isn’t spectacular: it starts to fade after 4 hours and by 6 only the base notes remain, sandalwood, musk, and amber, which accompany you quietly for 12 hours. I’ll do more tests to confirm.

Cheap and synthetic copy of Kuma by Tizziana Terenzi. All of Lorenzo’s perfumery seems to be plagiarism of other scents. Whatever…

  • JohnAcosta25

It seems incredibly similar to God of Fire, one of my long-time favourite fragrances, though I found it extremely feminine. SH feels more masculine due to the rum note and is more explosive at the opening. I applied three heavy sprays (wrists, neck, and chest) from a decant; it projected for two to three hours before settling into a personal bubble with over eight hours of longevity, lasting on clothes even the next day. I haven’t decided yet between the two mentioned above; for now, I’m continuing to explore this DNA with budget-friendly inspirations like Sceptre Malachite by Maison Alhambra and Fire God by Dua. I still wonder if it’s worth investing in a scent like this at such a price, as fragrances of this type will surely become more common. I see it for summer evenings and informal gatherings. If we’re talking about quality, it delivers.

It seems incredibly similar to God of Fire, one of my favourite perfumes, but this one felt extremely feminine. SH is more masculine due to the rum and is more explosive at first. Juicy mango, white flowers, and musk. I applied three sprays (wrist, neck, and chest) from a decant and it projected for 2 to 3 hours, then formed a personal bubble that lasted over 8 hours and lingered on clothes until the next day. I still can’t decide between the two; I’m continuing to test affordable dupes like Sceptre Malachite from Maison Alhambra or Fire God by Dua. I wonder if it’s worth investing at this price, as fragrances like this will become increasingly common. I sense it for summer nights and informal gatherings. If we’re talking about quality, it has it.

Here are my first impressions: TOTALLY unisex! It’s extremely tropical yet elegant, with a well-marked alcoholic touch. They say it’s a piña colada with the alcohol kicked up a notch. It comes out strong; a single spray leaves a high trail. I admire the brand’s compositions. I’m getting married soon and choosing a perfume for the beach; I wanted something angelic and seaside, but this smells adult and imposing, more for the evening. A great hit by Pazzaglia. By the way, it doesn’t remind me of God of Fire; both are fruity but they’re not copies.

  • What a beauty! I love it so much 🥭. It smells sweet, tropical, and is simply exquisite 😍.

  • Forget the technical jargon; it’s an exquisite fragrance. I’m hooked on its sweet and floral notes. At first, I didn’t feel much projection, perhaps due to olfactory fatigue, so I let it macerate for two months. Now, with three sprays, it projects for over 12 hours. I washed it and it still smells on my t-shirt. If you’re thinking of buying it blind, DO IT!

  • LarryCapija

Oh, please, how delicious. It’s as if you’ve bathed in a sweet fruit salad, or rather, the flavour of a piña colada has been translated into a fragrance. Perfectly unisex; on a woman, it feels timeless, while on a man it leans younger, yet it can still carry its own stamp regardless of age. PS: I suspect it’s fruity, but I sense a hint of Erba Pura.

  • I bought a decant, sprayed it twice, and fell in love instantly. Few perfumes have pleased me so much at first. The projection and longevity are exquisite. It’s not totally unique, but it has something captivating. For me, it’s like feeling on the beach having a cocktail; I’m not into that scene, but the fragrance achieved its goal and I decided to buy the bottle despite the hype. I’ll update when I have it.

  • LarryCapija

What a treat! Smells like you took a bath in a sweet fruit salad, or rather, a piña colada in aroma. A perfect unisex scent: timeless on a woman, slightly more youthful on a man but with class for any age. Being so fruity, it reminds me a bit of Erba Pura.

  • nachola32

Sweet tropical and fruity scent, without being cloying. The opening is very feminine, but as it dries it becomes more unisex, although for me it still retains that feminine touch. The fragrance is rich. Good projection and longevity, without being a bomb like others from the brand. If you’re a man, I recommend trying it before buying.

  • Victortor

Not for me… It opens citrusy to cut the sweetness of mango, pineapple, and coconut. At first it sounds very feminine and a bit overwhelming. As it dries, that suffocating feeling fades thanks to a rum accord and another floral one, but it still doesn’t work for me in that unisex facet. It’s not that I dislike it, but I don’t see the point. Also, I feel it’s youthful and not versatile: neither for the office nor for formal wear. I’d say it’s the LP I like least.

  • fouriouscat2

Summer Hammer is pure tropical saturation: a pineapple and mango bomb with a coconut that’s there but doesn’t lead. Everything is so concentrated it smells like car air freshener; it’s not that it smells bad, but I didn’t like it. It sounds a bit feminine to me, and most importantly, it’s not fresh. On the contrary, it’s dense and heavy, so on a hot day it feels suffocating. Up close it overwhelms me, although I recognise the sillage can get good compliments, especially from women. I don’t see it as exceptional or delicious. Its greatest virtue is the potency, but beyond that, it offers little more.

  • There’s a huge contradiction between reviews. Some talk of explosions and compliments, others of synthetic, flat, and sillage-free scents. Perhaps they are paid reviews or the formula has changed. Of my five samples, only Speechless projects and smells of peach. For me, Pazzaglia is the biggest con of recent years.

  • I’ve tried several Lorenzo Pazzaglia decants for summer. This was my highest expectation, but I notice no evolution or personality. The opening is synthetic fruit, very sweet and sticky in the heat, with mango and confused fruits, seeming more like a deodorant than a quality perfume, like an industrial tropical smoothie. After a decent opening, the spark dies quickly, leaving bubble-jasmine and then musk. Within the unisex range, it smells more feminine. It’s not bad, but the performance is low for a crazy price.

  • vainilena

I tried a decant. It opens like a real cocktail: fruit, coconut, and salt dominate the opening, which is the best part. Then those notes fade and only musk and white flowers remain, losing all the fun summer vibe. I’m annoyed because I saw it as a summer signature, but such a dull ending isn’t worth the price.

  • PerfúmateAqui_

Smells fruity and energetic at first, then settles down with rum before finishing very nicely. It’s sweet without being sour, but be careful not to use too many drops. Reminds me of Erba Pura.

  • J. O. S. F

Despite all the hype, it hasn’t impressed me. Breakfast and lunch with Torino 24 and Allnightlong give it a real thrashing with Caesar salad and chips. It lasts well on the skin without being a bomb. Smells like tanning lotion with a fruity touch.

  • It’s a tropical fruit smoothie, nothing complex but tasty. At the end, it leaves a marine touch that makes it more masculine. Perfect for men in summer.

  • A fruit cocktail that explodes without asking permission. Once dry, it’s kinder and more enjoyable in the heat. Watch out with sprays indoors; it can give you a headache. It has a vibe far from Erba Pura, although the Xerjoff one is saturated by clones.

  • Olfactorily, it’s no different from a nice, simple body mist. Except perhaps for the longevity, I don’t feel it’s a niche perfume.

  • An exceptional proposition for extreme heat. Smells like a mango shake with pineapple and coconut. The rum adds a distinctive touch. The longevity is short for the price, but it’s unique and refreshing in a market saturated with sweet scents.

  • Leonardo Quiroz

Delicious unisex scent, mostly mango. Very long-lasting and wearable. Ideal for hot days and young people aged 20 to 35.

  • ava__perfumes

Intense tropical opening with mango, pineapple, coconut, and rum. After ten minutes, bergamot refreshes it. By an hour, white florals and marine notes emerge, making it more elegant. Then sandalwood warms it up, and after four hours only woods and musk remain. Even after 14 hours, there’s still a trace on the skin.

  • Is this niche? Horror. Smells like fruit from Mercadona. The initial alcohol hit numbs you. It’s cheap, loud cologne, nothing like that exquisite luxury mango. I washed it off after half an hour because it was unbearable.

  • Ing. DelaCroix

Smells good, like an alcoholic fruit cocktail à la chupa-chups. But the quality-to-price ratio is terrible. There are better options at half the price. Don’t buy it without trying it first.

  • Smells like sunscreen mixed with mango and pineapple juice. It’s fruity, synthetic, and very generic. Smells like a cheap supermarket body mist. Only for the beach, nothing elegant. The social media hype is fake.

  • perfumesbarichara

Sounds like Ralph Lauren Blue but with mango and less sweet. Smells lovely, yet it’s vastly overpriced for what it is.
