  • In the dry-down, dry-down and nothing more, it has a similarity with Immortelle by Manos Gerakinis. The opening is more citrusy, green, and sweet.

  • The opening reminds me of Simone Andreoli Party in the Bay, but in the dry-down it evolves quickly into an OGX coconut milk shampoo. It has a very sweet and vanilla base, undoubtedly a beast of longevity and projects quite a bit. A pity that you can find that scent in any argan and coconut shampoo.

  • If you smell it directly from the cap, it smells of pure vanilla. On the first spray, it hits hard: first the citrus (grapefruit, lime) for a second, then a sweet scent with something oily (argan), and at the base, a powdery touch like makeup (rose). I can easily identify some perfumes, like strawberry lollipops or piña colada, but with Sweet Xplosión it is difficult because the phases are blended. In the dry-down, the closest thing is an oily coffee caramel with roses on top. Tested in the heat, it needs to be tried during the day to see how it performs.

Sweet Xplosión is a tricky one to define, but after testing it from the discovery set, it is undoubtedly the one that has caught me the most. It starts with a bomb of honey and coconut that lives up to the name, an explosion of sweetness. The rose, broom, and that aromatic, dark coffee note are immediately noticeable. The problem is that the bomb loses its punch quickly; on my skin, it fades faster than expected and after 30 minutes it is already skin-scent. It is a rich aroma, like coffee with vanilla and roses, more gourmand and dark than Montale’s Intense Café. I love it and might take it in a bottle simply for the scent, but the enjoyment is short. This happens with almost the whole brand: expectations for performance are sky-high based on internet claims that it lasts all day or stains clothes, but in my case, nothing. Perhaps due to my skin or the weather, but there is no trace on clothes the next day. In summary: top quality and aroma, but the performance falls just short for an extract with such potent notes.
