Excellent fragrance. Phenomenal scent, fresh, sweet, with a woody undertone. A true olfactory delight. It has longevity exceeding 8 hours with 2-3 hours of projection, a dark blue madness 😍. It’s very similar to Dylan Blue, but with a tea note that makes it divinely appealing. 10/10.
Top fragrance, phenomenal scent: fresh, sweet with a woody base. An olfactory delight lasting over 8 hours, with a projection of 2-3 hours, a dark blue madness 😍. Very similar to Dilan Blue but with a tea note that makes it divinely tempting. 10/10.
On my first impression, it was a bombardment of very common citrus scent with a also common tea base, lasting only a couple of hours. I’ll let it rest for a month to see if anything changes.
As they say, the opening is a shower of citrus that suggests it has its own path or an original combination. In my case, a few minutes later it becomes a generic smell, like a softer copy of Bleu de Chanel, with very light touches of LV’s Imagination. As it dries and sits close to the skin, I clarify that these are very subtle olfactory notes; don’t expect it to be similar or an alternative. Later, Ventana Marine (about two hours) fades even further, and for me, it becomes more bearable since I don’t like that Bleu DNA, highlighting the tea, wood, and floral notes instead. Totally for hot weather; if you have no other Bleu option, this could serve to try it out. Scent: 2.5/5 (I don’t like Bleu de Chanel, but it became bearable over time). Longevity: 3/5 (drops significantly after two hours, but that’s normal for fresh fragrances).
I love it; one of the best fragrances I’ve smelled recently. Don’t look for something new here; it’s another fresh blue scent. The notes remind me of other famous ones: it smells like Imagination at first, then Bleu and Dylan Blue as it dries down, though it feels fresher than those. I don’t think it’s a dupe, but I really liked the blend result; certainly one of my current favourites and it seems better than many that cost much more.
A blend of Bleu de Chanel and LV’s Imagination. Delicious scent, slightly synthetic but very fresh. For the £45 it costs here, I prefer Zara’s Navy Black, which is nearly identical for £20 in 90ml. The quality is similar, although Zara’s longevity is shorter, it costs half the price 👍🏻🔥.
Quite a synthetic, almost artificial citrus opening that even gives me nausea. It improves slightly as it dries down, but not much. Its only strong point is longevity. If it weren’t so artificial, it would be an excellent choice.
A hybrid of LV’s Imagination and Bleu Chanel, lasting 6-7 hours on skin. For the price, it’s a total hit 🔥🔥
Very synthetic, with a strange dry-down, better to save your money… For a similar price, try Art of Arabia 1 if you’re looking for something in the same style but superior in every way.
Well, very synthetic with a somewhat odd dry-down, so better to save your money. For a similar price, if you want something of the style, Art of Arabia 1 is better in every way.
I have just received a December 2024 batch. Do not expect anything bold or challenging, but it is not bad either. It is a likable and easy-to-wear scent, typical of blue fragrances. I picked it up for about 23 euros and am quite happy with the purchase. It suffers from a very alcoholic opening straight from the atomiser, but I am sure it is just a matter of maceration. For now, I have it at a solid 7.5/10.
A lot of complaints for little return, but it is a good perfume, rating 7.5. For the price, it goes up to 9; for the scent, down to 7. For me, who adores soft, non-intrusive citrus with a smoky touch, this smell makes me feel great all day. It lasts about 7 hours on skin, projects at 2, and lingers on clothes for 15.
People complain a lot and offer nothing; it’s a good perfume, 7.5/10 overall. For the price it rises to 9/10, for the scent it drops to 7/10. But for me, who adores soft, non-intrusive, smoky citrus scents, this delicious aroma makes me feel good ALL DAY. It lasts at least 7 hours on skin, projects for 2 hours, and on clothes it reaches 15 hours.
Keep this in mind: a handsome, muscular guy showers, runs his hand through his hair in slow motion, turns off the tap, looks in the mirror, and applies Gillette’s bar deodorant, that one with the clear gel and blue dots. That is what Marine smells like. It is pure masculinity. Don’t be confused by the name; it doesn’t smell marine or salty. It is blue, aquatic and refreshing with citrus notes that leave you clean and fresh. The citrus isn’t too prominent or sharp. It has something reminiscent of LV’s Imagination, but it’s not a copy or dupe, just similar nuances. For the price, it’s a good buy for spring and summer days, not in extreme heat. I use it around 15°C. I have this and Armaf Ventana (a dupe of Sauvage), and both are worth it. Bear in mind you need to apply generously and probably reapply. Don’t expect a brand-new scent, but it’s good enough to keep the mums off your back.
I don’t know where they got the term ‘MACERATION’ from on some YouTube channel, and now everyone insists you have to let it macerate after using it 😂😂😂. Maceration happens before perfumes are manufactured in factories when extracting essential oils. What they actually mean is that once opened and used, the perfume needs to oxidise—that is, air gets into the bottle—and it is this OXIDATION that makes it more potent and enhances the scent. This Ventana Marine smells somewhere between Bleu de Chanel and LV’s Imagination. A rich aroma, nothing groundbreaking, but delicious for summer. For the price, I’d give it a 9 out of 10 because it smells refined, without any catalogue or cheap notes.
Yesterday I passed a perfumerie… I smelled that essence two metres from the entrance and immediately I was transported back to that great love… to that scent on his neck that awakened my instincts.

An affordable alternative to Bleu de Chanel EDT. The opening smells more citrusy and effervescent than the Chanel; as it dries down, they’re 90% similar. Moderate performance: you need a minimum of 10 sprays for about 4 hours of longevity, which isn’t much, but it’s good for the price. I think we’ve got used to perfumes lasting 10 hours minimum, when that’s not how the nature of perfumes works. Overall, a basic perfume for any man: fresh, neat, masculine and safe. Recommended.
If I were to summarise it briefly, I’d say it’s a blend of Bleu de Chanel (allowing for differences in ingredient quality) with Dolce&Gabbana’s Light Blue. Masculine aroma, with a serious and somewhat mature charm.
If I had to sum it up, it’s a blend of Bleu de Chanel (allowing for differences in ingredient quality) with Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana. A masculine aroma with a serious, slightly mature charm.
An affordable alternative to Bleu de Chanel EDT. Straight out of the bottle it smells more citrusy and effervescent than the Chanel, but once it dries down they’re 90% similar. Performance is moderate: 10 sprays last around four hours, which isn’t much, but for the price it’s fine. I think we’ve been spoilt into expecting perfumes to last a minimum of 10 hours, when nature doesn’t work like that. Overall, a basic perfume for any man: fresh, neat, masculine and reliable. Recommended.
Excellent fragrance; fresh, citrusy and woody; perfect for summer or tropical climates.
For the price, it’s 100% worth it.
