  • Fifty-year-old style cologne. The kind that smells like anything you can buy in large supermarkets for €5 or €8. The longevity is terrible; after half an hour, you can only smell it if you’re right up against the skin.

  • It’s one of those fifty-something colognes that smells just like anything you can buy in a big store for five or eight euros. The longevity is a disaster; after half an hour, you can only smell it if you’re pressed right against the skin.

  • Nice scent, similar to the original ADG Profondo, I’d say around 85%, perhaps slightly more citrusy in the opening. As for performance, neither the ADG nor this one last very long, though it depends heavily on individual skin pH. It varies between 2 and 6 hours depending on skin type, which isn’t ideal. For me, it lasts about 6 hours, but for some friends, only 2. Given the price, spraying yourself liberally doesn’t hurt, so to be honest, it’s a good buy for $14.

I liked it at first, but it had a synthetic and alcoholic edge when sprayed. Fortunately, it disappears once it dries. I used it for a while, then bought another fragrance and let this one rest in the cold. After two months of resting, I tried it again and loved it; I even noticed improved longevity and similarity to the ADG Profondo. If you’re looking for something fresh for hot summers, I recommend it. I bought it blind and have no regrets; excellent value for money.

  • Not bad for the price. I bought a 30ml bottle to try it, and from the first use, I was surprised by the longevity. The scent is very familiar; after the initial alcohol note, it’s almost identical to Natura’s Kaiak Océano. Both resemble the ADG Profondo, so if you already own the Océano, don’t spend money on this one, but if you don’t, go for the cheaper of the two.

  • When I first took it out of the box and sprayed it, it smelled strong and similar to ADG, but after a few days I only smell pure alcohol, something mentholated, with a poor trail and scarce longevity. I’m letting it macerate hoping it improves, but for now it’s a creature-level perfume, the kind you’d find in a Ben 10 gift set.

I’m letting it macerate, hoping it improves, but for now, it’s a creature-level perfume, akin to the kind given away in Ben 10.

  • Excellent blue fragrance. The difference from the ADG Profondo is slight, but this one is easier to like as it feels slightly fresher, fruitier, and less woody or mineral than the ‘original’. It has a weak trail, but if you can get it at a good price, you can overapply. It’s a very easy blue for daily wear, school, the office, or as a signature scent when you don’t want to be intrusive in small spaces. It has enough elegance for a casual daytime party. If you can get it at a good price, don’t hesitate to buy it before the price rises due to hype. PS: You can also find it as Jorge Di Profumo Deep Blue; it’s the same fragrance, just renamed due to rights issues.

  • Josué González Céspedes

A fantastic perfume; it’s already a quarter of the way through the season for outings and has 96% similarity with Acqua di Gio Profondo.

  • Salvador Ramirez

A good dupe of Acqua di Gio Profondo if you’re on a tight budget; the original is stronger but costs four times as much. It has 80% similarity and I’d use it for hot days or beach outings. I detect an egg-like smell from the mineral notes. It’s an option for daily or casual wear, though there are better fragrances on the market for the price.

  • FleurDuMale35

As others have commented below, when first bought it was quite similar to Profondo, with a rougher aroma and very sharp lemon. After two months the scent changed completely; now it smells sour and mentholated, lacks structure and doesn’t taste rich to me. Perhaps it will settle, but for now I don’t recommend it.

As mentioned in the comments below, when first bought, it was quite similar to the Profondo, with a rougher scent and a much stronger lemon note. After two months, the scent changed completely and now smells sour and mentholated; it doesn’t taste good to me, but rather like a strange, unstructured smell. Perhaps it will settle down in time, but I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience so far.

  • wildkatzen

Another well-made inspiration with 90% similarity. By straying slightly from the classic formula, its scent and trail drop by about five hours, making it ideal for summer. Although it’s very mass-produced, all the girls love it and it’s very cheap; there’s nothing to be done, you just have to use it because the original is ridiculously expensive.

  • The Wind Waker

I’ve tried Jorge Deep Blue twice now and it seems they’ve finally got it right. The previous version didn’t quite close for me, but the 2025 batch is a worthy clone of Acqua Di Gio Profondo. It’s missing a couple of nuances, but to the average nose it’s identical. Jorgito wins!

  • The Wind Waker

I’ve tried the Jorge Deep Blue twice now, and it seems they’ve finally got it right. The previous version was similar to the Profondo but didn’t quite hit the mark. I tried the Batch 2025 recently, and now it is indeed a worthy clone of the Acqua Di Gio Profondo. It’s missing a couple of nuances, but to the average nose, it’s identical. Jorgito Wins!

  • Esteban Gomez

A very good scent, similar but not identical; I feel it lacks something from Acqua di Gio but remains excellent, leaning towards the vibe of Profondo. I’d give it an 85-90% similarity. In short: a good fragrance for warm weather.

  • Esteban Gomez

It’s a very good scent, similar but not identical. I feel it’s missing something from the Acqua Di Gio, but that doesn’t detract from it being a very good fragrance leaning towards the Profondo vibe. I recommend it for warm climates. If I had to give it a similarity percentage to the Profondo, I’d say around 85-90%. In short, it’s a good fragrance.

  • javier cabeza de perfume

Very good; the scent is exquisite, fresh and clean, ideal for warm climates. At first it didn’t last long, but once it oxidises it improves considerably. Projection also improves with time; it’s perfect if you use a decant before heading out. At 20,000 Chilean pesos it’s economical and accessible. It’s not a beast in terms of projection, but for the price it’s worth applying several times to compensate.

  • Smells rich and is a good take on Profondo, but its trail is non-existent and longevity is poor; with a decant it’s worth it for the price, otherwise it disappears by midday. In Chile it costs $15-16.
