  1. Re-tested today and confirmed: I absolutely love the scent, but performance is what holds me back the most. It’s fresh, clean, and energising; it lifts my spirits instantly, perfect for the day: a shower, clean clothes, and starting the morning. Many people say it smells like ADG Profondo, and I understand the comparison due to that blue, aquatic vibe, but on my skin Chrome Extreme has a very distinct bright tangerine note at the start, and the base pushes a soft sweetness, nothing cloying or gourmand, which gives it body and keeps it well masculine. The important thing: on my skin it lasts 4-5 hours and projects for 1-2. In extreme heat, I feel it gets eaten away and drops faster to a closer scent. To be honest, it’s already my second bottle: the aroma is exquisite, but if you are looking for presence, perhaps it’s not so enjoyable to keep buying. In the end, for me it’s more of a personal enjoyment perfume and for those who come within that 1-2 hour window where it projects well.

This one, along with the Chrome EDP, are some of the worst fragrances I know. The scent is extremely light on both, and the performance is abysmal. Just scented water; any body mist from Bath and Body Works lasts and projects more than these.

  3. It’s a hard fragrance to find; I got mine via eBay. A perfume that lavishes freshness, sensuality, and masculinity. A perfect signature for any occasion on hot days. The best scent I have ever smelled.

To me, it resembles Polo Deep Blue more than ADG Profondo; only that Deep Blue has a very sharp mango note, whereas this smells of tangerine, soft and not at all piercing. In contrast, the entire BODY of the fragrance is like that of Ralph Lauren. To simplify, Azzaro Chrome Extreme sits between Polo Deep Blue and Clinique Happy.

  5. It just smells like tangerine juice 😞 haha, I genuinely thought I would like it more. Why does anyone say it smells like Polo Blue when I was gifted a body mist for after a shower and it smells exactly the same? It smells like fresh tangerine water 😂. I’m not disappointed, it’s a good option for summer, feels super fresh, but it’s not something that will make people say ‘you smell great’ or act as a magnet for stares. It’s just to feel fresh and that’s it. Very informal, for the day. I don’t see it for night or for standing out. That said, it does make a lovely bubble around you.

A good summer option or for hot areas. True that it isn’t extremely original, but it competes with dignity in its niche and results in being very pleasant in high temperatures without clashing. In temperate climates it might last and project less, but not enough to be a bad purchase. It’s marine, ideal for the day or night in relaxed moments and non-extremely formal work environments. It has a little sweetness that normally doesn’t attract me in this type of fragrance, but in Chrome Extreme it turns out to be indispensable to give the whole set a cheerful, dynamic imprint without losing form. I don’t see it for party environments, but even there it could be worn well if you aren’t competing with the most potent perfumes. I don’t see an age limit and that I like. If you are looking for neon lights or the philosopher’s stone of marine aromas, you won’t find it here; and if you complain because the sun comes out, it rains, or the weather is perfect, you will surely have complaints, but it will be very difficult to convince anyone that Azzaro Chrome Extreme doesn’t deserve a serious rating as an alternative for summer or hot climates.

  7. Little is said about this perfume, fantastic in all its facets and with a recognisable evolution in all its phases. Good evolution and extraordinary quality for the price you pay.

Once again Azzaro presents spectacular fragrances at a very good price: a cold, metallic tangerine accompanied by a sweetness alongside bottled sea. Precise for days of intense heat, it has more duration than average, remaining until the next day on clothes. Recommended.

  9. Strong opening, fresh, citrus, green, and marine. Ideal for outdoor outings. The duration is good; in my case it reaches between six and seven hours. Personally it’s not one of the scents I like most, but I recognise that it offers quality and is a good fragrance.

Bought it today and what a pleasant surprise: it avoids typical citrus notes like lemon or bergamot; here, tangerine takes the lead. The opening is super cool and refreshing, but over time it becomes creamy with a sweet touch that wraps everything around. Is it generic? Yes, but it’s worth every penny; it smells very similar to the Polo Blue line and is excellent.

Azzaro always offers good quality at a fair price, and this Chrome Extreme is no exception. It starts with a sharp, citrusy, marine opening that later turns sweet thanks to the amber. On my skin, it lasts about 6 or 7 hours and projects well for the first hour and a half. Very similar to Acqua di Gio Profondo, but I feel this one lasts a bit longer. Both are delicious, although the Armani one costs double.

Azzaro offers great quality at a good price, and this Chrome Extreme is no exception. It opens citrusy and marine, slightly sharp, then becomes sweeter towards the end due to the amber. On my skin, it lasts about 6 or 7 hours and projects well for the first hour and a half. It seems very similar to Acqua di Gio Profondo, but this one lasts a bit longer. Both are delicious, although the Armani one costs twice as much.

  13. Fresh, citrusy opening with a sweet touch. As it dries down, it leaves musky notes. It feels a bit synthetic and generic; at some point, it reminds me of Versace Pour Homme. Personally, I prefer the classic Chrome EDT, which is fresher and has more personality. A lot of hype and few nuts…

  14. I love this perfume: it is literally tangerine and sea, but very cold tangerine. Ideal for the heat, day or night, even above 30 degrees. It easily lasts 7 hours and projects well. The opening is huge and fills a room easily; the trail is gigantic for the first 20 minutes. The bottle is beautiful and the blue atomiser is a charming and very nice detail. It easily reminds me of ADG Profondo and Polo Blue Parfum.

  15. What a pleasant surprise. Excellent option for hot days without spending a fortune, perfect for everyday wear. I didn’t expect so much, but I will be using it a lot this spring and summer.

  16. Citrusy and slightly sweet, perfect for work or daily routine. In summer, it works wonderfully, with zero alcohol smell and excellent quality for the price. The longevity exceeds 8 hours. 10/10.

  18. Azzaro Chrome Extreme is a citrus, marine, and aromatic fragrance. I chose it for a few days at the beach and the weather was optimal. The opening is citrusy, fresh, and pleasant; you can taste the tangerine accompanied by cold tones, perhaps juniper. Over time, the marine notes accentuate and there are no further changes until the end. It is fresh and perfect for the heat. It is for casual use, to enjoy daily, for any age. The longevity is not the best, but it reaches 6 hours and if it sticks to clothes, it lasts longer. It doesn’t bring much novelty, but I think it is one of the most pleasant citrus and aquatic fragrances of the last two years, alongside Missoni Wave, ADG Profondo, and Explorer Ultra Blue. Added note: Azzaro fragrances usually have a good price.

  19. Azzaro Chrome Extreme is citrusy, marine, and aromatic. I wore it to the beach to test it, and the heat suited it perfectly. It opens with fresh mandarin and a cool hint of juniper that is noticeable. Then the marine notes rise and stay until the end. It’s fresh, ideal for hot days and casual use, suitable for any age. Longevity isn’t the best, around 6 hours, but if it sticks to clothes, it lasts longer. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s one of the most pleasant citrus and aquatic scents of the last two years, alongside Missoni Wave, AdG Profondo, and Explorer Ultra Blue. Plus, Azzaro usually offers good prices.

A colleague wore this bottle two weeks ago, and it was an absolute bomb for my nose; that’s when I knew it would be my signature. I sprayed it on my hand at 8 am and could still smell it at 5 pm. I bought it online that same day without hesitation. It’s an EDP with excellent performance, suitable all year round and great for the office. It’s a very refined aquatic mandarin. If you’re tired of scents like Bleu de Chanel, Dylan Blue, or Dior Sauvage that everyone wears, this is an option that doesn’t smell like those and earns you many compliments.

A good alternative to Acqua di Gio Profondo. Good performance and you can shower with it when it’s very hot. It has a realistic and rich tangerine opening, with a green aromatic base, deep sea, and refreshing.

  23. In my view, it’s a fragrance worth considering. Several reviews associate it with Polo Deep Blue, but I sense it takes a slightly more fruity and citrusy path, making it less synthetic. Undoubtedly, besides the marine note, mandarin is present, and I even seem to detect a hint of sweet mango. It’s a fresh fragrance; I’d highly recommend it for the office. Regarding longevity, about 6–8 hours on my skin; I’d say it suits those from 20 years old and up.

  24. In my opinion, it’s worth the purchase. Many compare it to Polo Deep Blue, but to me it smells more fruity and citrusy, less synthetic. Beyond the marine notes, I detect mandarin and a touch of sweet mango. It’s super fresh, ideal for the office. On my skin, it lasts 6–8 hours and seems perfect from age 20 onwards.
