Wanted Eau de Parfum by Azzaro

I’ve been wearing this for a year and a half: sweet opening without being cloying, drying down to earthy and woody notes, very masculine for the man who knows what he wants. I hear complaints about quality here, but they’re far from the truth (not wishing to offend your noses). It’s the fragrance in my collection that has garnered the most compliments, and I have several great ones. Lasting performance is impeccable: 6-8 hours on skin with good intensity, and on clothes it lasted days. If you like the scent, buy it without hesitation, just note it’s not for the young.

What more can I say? Of the entire Azzaro range, this is the most underrated. If you’re looking for something sweet without the cloyingness of other fragrances in the line, this is the best option. It smells more mature and masculine to me than previous Wanted scents, and it’s far more versatile. In short, a solid 8.5/10.

I love it; it’s a simple scent, literally smelling of perfumery due to the simplicity of the notes, giving a sense of quality even if it’s not one of those that makes you say ‘wow’. The trail and projection are moderate, very versatile; I wouldn’t wear it in extreme heat. It’s almost my signature scent, rich to my taste, but pricey for what it offers. I believe there are better options, but I can’t think of any similar ones that are cheaper.

I bought it cheaply just to own the whole Wanted collection, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a sweet citrus, nothing cloying; I didn’t think anyone could achieve that sensation on my skin. Less is definitely more here. A very good olfactory experience with great projection, and I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for it. Azzaro outdid themselves with this collection. All the Wanted scents are excellent.

I bought it a month ago for rainy days. It smells different to the declared notes: very sweet juniper berries with vanilla and a touch of green spice. Sweet fruity, not cloying, and masculine. It has given me many compliments. It resembles other fragrances a bit, but the black thread of perfumery doesn’t exist; they all look alike. It’s conventional but smells good, with good longevity, projection, and price. I love the silver bottle, the matte and shiny contrasts; it looks masculine, rebellious, coquettish, and sophisticated.

I wanted it for a daily office scent, sweet but not cloying. This fragrance hits the mark. If it weren’t called WANTED, I’d never associate it with an EDT. It has EDT nuances but is distinct. It’s a sweet floral opening that, lacking tonka bean or amber, doesn’t become cloying for daily wear and stays fresh. Quite linear, except for a slightly chaotic opening. I expected less based on reviews, but it’s among the best for the office and casual outings in spring, summer, and autumn. Very versatile with average longevity of 5-7 hours. A beautiful underrated floral-spicy scent that very few know about. I regret buying only 50ml.

I have a 10ml decant and it resembles Valentino Uomo Born In Roma Intense, but that’s about it; Valentino stands out much more in composition and performance. PD: I can understand the ‘meatloaf’ comment, haha.

Azzaro Wanted Eau de Parfum (EDP) is a fruity, woody, and spiced fragrance. Its opening is fruity, very similar to the EDT. A few minutes later, the scent on my skin became slightly unpleasant, as if it smelled like meatloaf (I like meatloaf, but not as a perfume :D); fortunately, that lasted a maximum of 10 minutes before the fruity aroma returned, accompanied by some aromatic spices and herbs, a bit of sage or lavender, and it didn’t change further. Wanted EDP is a versatile fragrance for all four seasons, suitable for casual use, going out with friends, school, etc. Its longevity is excellent; it lasted almost 12 hours on my skin, although with good projection only for the first hour, after which it sits closer to the skin but with some small bursts. Except for the minutes after the opening which I didn’t like, the aroma is pleasant, though it doesn’t differ much from the EDT, although it does have good longevity. I think I prefer Wanted by Night and the EDT itself more.

I’m going to edit my previous review. It’s more akin to YSL L’Homme Le Parfum, in my opinion, with over 95% similarity. It has been a good purchase, in my view.

Juniper berries? Vetiver? XD? Haha, none of that exists in this mess. It’s a copy of the copy of the copy of the flanker. Vulgar, like everything Azzaro has done for quite a few years. It’s vanilla, vanilla, and super sugary lavender. It’s a copy of… Ralph’s Club, Lucky, and all that fauna that smell exactly the same even if their followers won’t admit it. I don’t expect anything from this brand and yet I’m disappointed.
