I absolutely love this fragrance; nobody mentions it on social media, yet it’s a gorgeous masculine scent. To me, it perfectly balances fresh, green, citrus, musky, and classic notes without feeling dated. It sits in the same family as Chanel Blue but leans more green and classic. In my opinion, it’s the best in the Chrome line. Unlike other Chrome scents or Aqua di Gio, it lacks marine notes, opting instead for a vibrant green and citrus profile. I really enjoy it for that updated yet classic masculine vibe.

  2. To me, it evokes a day of hiking through pine forests and plantations. Although the ingredients are likely synthetic, I perceive a very realistic sensation of being in a wood. It doesn’t give me a headache, but I do find it pleasant and comforting for everyday wear. For that purpose, I’m fascinated by it; it’s a scent that accompanies you without causing discomfort in any setting, and it will never leave you looking out of place. Ideal as a signature fragrance.

Azzaro Chrome Eau de Parfum. Azzaro has two well-defined lines: Chrome, which is fresh and versatile, and TMW, featuring sweet and heavy fragrances. The good news is they rarely discontinue their scents. This Eau de Parfum is the heavier version of the original Chrome. It opens with bitter mandarin and cayenne pepper before yielding to the heart notes of pine and lavender (it reminds me a lot of my favourite Tommy perfume from 1999, Freedom, which is sadly discontinued). It’s a fragrance to wear all day, every week, provided the temperature stays above 20 degrees. Perhaps it’s the ‘least’ fresh in the Chrome line, but it’s a very pleasant scent to wear and dress in, whether informally or for casual outings. When I don’t want to be disappointed, I always return to Azzaro. In my view, it’s one of those perfume houses that never does anything wrong. As for price, they do it better, and this fragrance is no exception. Rating: 9/10.

A very nice perfume, slightly sweet and citrusy. It performs well in summer but can be worn comfortably in other seasons too. It smells a bit nineties without quite reaching vintage status; recommended for ages 25+. If you can find it at a reasonable price, it’s a very wise purchase. Sillage and longevity are average, like most fragrances these days.

  5. It is not groundbreaking but was a pleasant surprise; I tested it alongside the Parfum and this one won. Sweet citrus opening, followed by subtle lavender and lots of pine. As the description says, it is simple, but it is not that classic pine nor that lavender; compared to the Hugo (2021) in my collection, both have pine but smell like different eras. I personally don’t love pine, but here it is done very well. It is versatile: for work, outings (not for parties) or dates. It is not the typical youthful fragrance, it is more mature and masculine. Longevity is around 6 hours with moderate projection. I have received some compliments but that is not its strong suit. I recommend it because it is often available at a good price in Argentina.

  6. Not something groundbreaking, but a pleasant surprise. I tested it alongside the Parfum, and this one won. The opening is slightly sweet and citrusy, followed by a very subtle lavender and a lot of pine. As the description says, it’s simple, but… it’s not that classic lavender or pine. To compare it with another in my collection, it doesn’t smell like the pine in Hugo (2021); while pine dominates both, they smell like different ‘eras’. Particularly, I don’t usually love pine, but here it works wonderfully. It’s quite versatile, suitable for work, outings (not a party scent), and even a date, though there are better options for each situation. This one works well enough. I would only avoid extreme heat and cold. It’s not the typical youthful perfume of today but rather mature and masculine. Longevity is around 6 hours depending on the weather, with moderate projection for a good while. I’ve received a few compliments, but that’s not its strong suit. I recommend it, considering it’s often very good value for money in the Argentine market.

A very charming and distinctively citrus opening, easy to wear and use. It’s not the most elegant in the Chrome collection; for my taste, Azzaro Chrome Pure holds that title, but this stands out for its incredible freshness, perfect for the office, casual outings, and semi-formal events. Performance is quite good for a citrus/woody blend; personally, I get about 7 to 8 hours, which is very good for an outing or a workday. The opening is very citrusy with a well-defined mandarin. To be honest, I barely detect the lavender, but there is indeed an exquisite pine scent, complete with needles. I definitely recommend it and will keep more in stock. In fact, the entire Azzaro Chrome collection is worth having in stock (at least for me).

  8. One of the most realistic green mandarin scents I’ve ever smelled. A pleasant, fresh, old-school fragrance with a vibrant citrus top that transitions into cool, very green, woody notes, ending in a deep forest fougère that is moist and resinous. It is ephemeral, subtle, calm, and extremely masculine. Ideal for summer afternoons, relaxed moments, and suitable for all ages.

  9. One of the most realistic green mandarin scents I have ever smelled. Fresh, pleasant and classic, with a vibrant citrus note that transitions into cool herbs and woods, finishing on a fougère base of damp forest and resin. It is ephemeral, subtle and calming, masculine to the extreme. Ideal for summer afternoons, relaxed moments and for any age.

  10. In my case, I can say it’s mandarin and wood; I barely perceive the lavender since the mandarin dominates, which makes it slightly sweet. I think it’s very good for extreme heat; its aroma can stand out depending on the number of sprays. It reminded me a lot of Light Blue Eau Intense but without that salty marine touch. Comparing it to Chrome EDT, I preferred the EDT; it’s good, but I prefer a fresher, cleaner scent. Still, an excellent option for summer if you like the mandarin note.

  11. A very good perfume. The opening is spicy (it lasted about 10 or 15 minutes and I didn’t like it much), but once it settles, it smells very similar to Coach Blue in the heart. In the dry down, it is almost identical to Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense. It has excellent longevity and fixation on skin and clothes.

  12. A very good perfume. The opening is spicy (lasting perhaps ten or fifteen minutes, which isn’t very pleasant), but as it settles, I perceive it very close to Coach Blue in the heart stage. However, in the dry-down, it is very similar to Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense. In my experience, it boasts excellent longevity and fixation on both skin and clothes.

It reminds me of a blend of Acqua di Gio EDP, Polo Blue EDT and a bit of Polo Black. Despite being an EDP, the longevity is more like an EDT: an hour and a half of projection, moderate sillage and about 5 hours of wear time. If you already own the ADG EDP or Polo Blue, this is dispensable. Furthermore, it is very expensive; in Uruguay, 100 ml costs $145. Rating: 7/10.

It’s like a blend of Acqua di Gio EDP and Polo Blue EDT, with a touch of Polo Black. Longevity is that of an EDT despite being an EDP: about an hour and a half of projection with moderate sillage and 5 hours of longevity. Avoid if you already own the ADG EDP or Polo Blue EDT. Too expensive; here in Uruguay, they sell it for $145 for 100ml. 7/10.

Azzaro Chrome EDP is citrusy, floral and woody. It opens fresh with mandarin, then the floral lavender and a touch of sweet amber come forward. In the dry down, it leaves pine without losing that fruitiness. It’s a handsome scent for the office, friends or any day in spring, summer or autumn. It lasted me 7 or 8 hours: strong for the first hour and a half, then it fades but leaves a trail. Compared to the EDT, this is sweeter and more floral, less metallic. It modernises the classic, leaning towards current ‘blue’ fragrances but with its own personality. Azzaro continues to offer good value for money outside department stores. The navy blue gradient bottle looks incredible in person.
