Rich scent, well masculine with marine notes. Ideal if you’re looking for something clean and discreet, but if you want to turn heads, look elsewhere. Longevity and sillage are moderate.

Very similar to Profondo and Chrome Extreme, but for me, Deep Blue is the best of the three. What defines it is the mango and that woody touch that evokes earth. It conjures an image of a hardworking person with clear goals; it would look great with a lumberjack t-shirt. Highly versatile for any occasion or season. Lasts about six hours and projects decently. In summary: an aquatic aroma with green notes, present wood, and fruity mango. If I were to recommend it blindly: 9/10.

Beastly longevity. I had it a while ago and it smells lovely; it’s literally summer and spring, though for night outs it depends on personal taste. Yes, it smells of green mango; if you’re from a region where it grows, that scent will be present. For me: 9 out of 10.

It’s the scent of summer on a Mediterranean beach. Little sillage but quite good longevity. Too much product personally bothers me. I quite like it.

Fresh, smells impressively well, highlighting the marine notes and cypress. It’s like a boosted Polo Blue, without the issue of smelling soapy when dry. But the incredible thing is that, being a perfume, the longevity is scarce, maximum an hour on my skin, although I noticed less before.

Smells like Perry Ellis 360 Red, but costs triple.

Alright, alright, alright… Today’s a RL Blue. Making an analogy, RL is that movie reboot that fails to even come close to matching its original classics from back in the day. The Polo Blues in their various versions and the Green were incredible, brutal, and memorable. And these latest ones? At these prices and performances, one feels cheated. Remember: an EDT should have approx 15% oils, an EDP 20%, and a Parfum 40%. The ‘milongas’ of intensities, elixirs, and absolutes should be banned for confusing the public, and in my opinion they stem from a lack of real control over those concentrations, which already makes me nervous. Those of us in the know intuit which brands are cutting corners. Today I feel this RL Parfum isn’t actually a Parfum in terms of oils. However, when I applied it, the ‘I SEE YOU’ from Avatar escaped me (I see you, Polo RL, I see you). It smells marine, aromatic, and delicious, and look how much this bothers me because, at an EDT price (not Parfum) which is its real performance, I would have bought it headfirst. It would be a versatile all-rounder, masculine and sexy, herbal and slightly sharp. In itself it’s not very original but it works on almost everyone’s nose. The problem is the prices… I’ll leave it to each person’s pocket. Cheers! If you like my reviews, follow my channel on TikTok: Chuliá Parfum Reviews @chulia.my13parfums.

I tried it and initially liked the scent, which is why I bought it, but with use I realised it doesn’t last anything on my skin; after 20 minutes it was gone. I went to the shop to exchange it thinking the bottle was faulty, got another one, and it wasn’t a solution. Anyway, terrible performance, thirty minutes at best; you have to reapply constantly. In summary, the bottle lasted less than a month. Total letdown.

Bought it on offer and I liked it a lot. I prefer this to the ubiquitous Polo Blue EDT or EDP; I find it more up-to-date, fresh, marine, and very pleasant. I’ve received compliments. Longevity and projection are good, not a beast but it’s the minimum I expected. That fruity marine scent is very good, perhaps a bit generic, but better than many others (Blue Seduction and similar). Recommended.

A ‘perfume’ EXTREMELY RICH, it’s enchanting, proposes nothing new, not at all, super wearable, everyone will like it, a ‘perfume’ made to be liked YES or YES, especially if you like blue perfumes. Now, you might ask: why does this chap put the word PERFUME in quotes? Simple, this according to concentration is PARFUM which is up to 40%, however in this bottle what in my opinion there is is an Eau de Toilette. This aroma lasts max 4 hours applying on key points, and if you reapply then almost 8 hours. It’s an insult that they sell this as ‘PARFUM’ concentration, there should be industry-level control to regulate this. I bought it for the scent and waited for a promotion, I would never pay more than 100 USD for 100ml, I paid 85 USD for 200ml, and I know I will always reapply. I’m using it in Chilean summer, temperatures between 25 to 33 degrees, dry heat. When autumn arrives properly I’ll try it and review it, I don’t think it will change much regarding longevity and sillage. Should I recommend buying? YES and ONLY YES if there’s a promotion, like the one I got for 200ml, if you’re clear you’ll reapply at the 4-hour mark and finally if you like blue perfumes. Greetings community.

I thought they were exaggerating about the longevity, so I tested 3 sprays on my hand and hours passed. What a letdown: by 1:30 pm it was half gone, at 3 pm only 30% remained, and by 4 pm it was a whisper clinging to the skin. Basically, after 2-3 hours, not even a seasoned pig would smell you. Conclusion: this is a perfume from another multiverse, because in this one, it’s not even a joke.

Batch 2023, it’s a parfum and the truth is it doesn’t last at all.

It opens with marine and cypress notes like a deep ocean. Minutes later, an acidic mango appears, turning sweet and tropical. Ambroxan and fir close out the base. It doesn’t evolve much and stays dense, modern, fresh, and slightly woody. It’s not special but everyone likes it. It lasts about 7 hours, but the projection is poor: only 2-3 hours, and the trail doesn’t go beyond half a metre.

It’s the definition of summer: sea, breeze, and beach. It opens citrusy, acidic, and semi-sweet with a herbal heart that reminded me of Jean Lowe Inmortal. Then the marine notes settle with ambroxan and musk, giving it a fresh, metallic, and salty shine. The dry down is citrusy, herbal, and marine, like a sea breeze. It lasts about 6 hours; the best part is the projection: strong at first, then it stays close to you in a bubble that you can perceive in the air all the time. Many perfumes fade to skin scent after two hours, but this one doesn’t. It’s very versatile for warm climates, spring, and summer. It goes perfectly at work thanks to that herbal heart and musky base that provide cleanliness and maturity, but also for casual outings or formal occasions during the warm seasons. Great perfume!

It offers nothing novel, but it delivers good results because it’s a rather ‘safe’ scent that sticks to masculine conventions. For those who know the EDP, the Deep is similar but with more fruity sweetness (without being sweet per se) and a higher ambroxan load. It’s clean and aromatic, but in my opinion, I don’t see it as fresh or citrusy, so it’s not ideal for hot summers unless it’s at night. In short, no one will look at you strangely, but you won’t stand out with anything special compared to the rest. If you like Sauvage EDT-style perfumes, this will be an alternative that plays in those leagues.

POLO DEEP BLUE PARFUM: A somewhat baffling fragrance because it seems not to smell yet it does. Upon leaving the bottle, one expects to fill the nostrils, but that’s not the case, although my colleagues at work found it perceptible, while it caused me olfactory fatigue. After coming out, it feels fruity due to the mango and citrusy, achieving a nice accord. Then the woods appear, along with the musk that provides cleanliness and the marine note which, upon drying, brings out its best. I thought it was good dry down: pleasant, clean, and masculine. In terms of performance, it left me wanting: more is perceived by those around you for 2 hours. It’s strictly for daytime, office, school, or afternoons with friends. It’s not as overhyped, but for my taste, it’s not one of the best. It’s a pleasant scent to wear. Scent: 8.0. Projection: moderate. Longevity: 6 hours. Recommended.

For me, it has more charm than Acqua di Gio Profondo due to its greater green touch and a slightly less flat evolution. I’d like to try Profondo Lights to compare. It’s very similar to Polo Blue EDP but sweeter with a higher amber load (ambroxan in this case), making it less wearable in extreme heat or in the office, but more suitable for summer nights as it’s more playful.

The Polo collection is loved or hated, there’s no middle ground… In the case of this Polo (Deep), I recognise it has much better longevity and projection than the original EDT, it’s very similar to the EDP but sweeter (I assume due to the mango). Not being a fan of Ralph Lauren, I must admit that this Polo attracts me, not just due to compliments, but because I feel it has its own personality, unlike the other fragrances in the line which are very generic. If you’re in a country with a warm climate or it’s summer, try it, you’ll like it.

Delicious! Highly recommended!

It smells very similar to Acqua di Gio Profondo; this one is more citrusy and sharp, whereas Profondo is sweeter but has a very similar dry-down. It’s not bad since Profondo is brilliant, but this adds nothing extra. If you already own Profondo, you can do without this, especially as it doesn’t last as long. A decent fragrance with average performance and a familiar scent.
Fancy
Poor longevity for the price; it fades within 2–3 hours and then disappears completely. There are better options with a similar scent, so save your money and try something else.
Juancho Tatiesa
For me, it lasts 24 hours. I’ve been wearing it for over two years and it is truly a Parfum. I don’t understand those who say it lasts only a couple of hours; that’s a lie. With just three sprays, it lasts more than 24 hours on me.
antonhofficial
For a Parfum, it’s quite poor… 🙁 I think even an EDT or a cologne smells better and lasts longer. The opening is weak.
Mac23
I’ve been using it for a month and it has captivated us since it arrived. I love the scent, although it’s not new or special, just very rich. Its weakness is the projection; for a Parfum, in my case, it lasts about 3 hours and at best clings to the skin. If it lasted longer, it would be one of the most clingy and definitely the best of the Polo range.

Magnificent and elegant aromatic opening, perfect for an executive or manager. If Polo Blue EDP already gave you seriousness, this takes it a step further. Moderate opening with mango, grapefruit, and bergamot, but it’s not purely citrus; those notes are wrapped by cypress and geranium. The issue is performance: just like Polo Blue EDP (5–7 hours on skin), it’s disappointing for a Parfum. Projection is similar. Ideal for enclosed, elegant, and serious settings. It lacks the performance for open spaces.

My story: I was looking for a specific Dior EDT, and the seller suggested I try this. I sprayed a little on my arm without thinking much. An hour later, I caught a small scent that faded away, but I loved it. When I went to buy it, I decided to give it a chance. I purchased it, but it doesn’t last long, and I felt disappointed. It’s not very versatile and the longevity is poor. Quite citrusy with very little mango. Would I recommend it? Not really.

It’s a poor combination of Polo Black and Polo Blue. It’s average, generic, and lacks the charm of the classic Polo Blue. It smells of aquatic green mango and slightly salty. It’s not even that sharp, acidic Mexican green mango; it’s a simplistic fruit that reaches neither sweetness nor acidity nor fruitiness. Projection is moderate and longevity is inferior to its siblings. If you already own the classic, it seems redundant because it adds nothing and even worsens the accord. If you’re looking for a commercial fruity men’s fragrance, go for the traditional Paris Hilton, CK One Summer, and others.

I tested it for a week on holiday and agree with several colleagues: it has the best performance within the Blue Polo line. The original is heavily reformulated and lasts very little; even Acqua di Gio could do better—a cruel accusation for a fragrance’s longevity. Here, we don’t expect a bomb, but it holds up perfectly for six or seven hours (whereas the original is gone after an hour). It achieves this through concentration and the use of Ambroxan, an excellent fixative that works well without being the star. The stars are the mango in the opening, the geranium in the heart—the line’s identity mark—along with its iconic aquatic notes. The cypress makes it more mature and interesting. As well noted, it’s not intrusive, not annoying, smells fresh and clean, and let’s not deceive ourselves, it has no projection to draw attention. It stays within a personal sphere, adding freshness and naturalness (it’s casual, asking for casual wear). Mostly for summer, perhaps spring. The best of the Polo Blue line and, within the designer market, a very interesting option.
