A very masculine fragrance. Upon application, I first noticed the woody notes because it is a bit strong; then, as it dried and settled on the skin, the lavender and cucumber became apparent. The trail is heavy and the longevity is average (around 4 hours). The bottle is very youthful, elegant, and masculine… I am fascinated by it! I give it 7.5/10.
I suppose scent is subjective, but there are two things: they say it is a ‘cooler’ version of Polo Red and a ‘more intense’ one of Polo Blue, and in both cases they fail. I have been a Polo Blue user for years, one of my summer scents, and I was eager to try it because I love the apple note. I like this Polo a lot, but I think it is very generic. It opens almost exactly like Polo Blue, certainly due to the cucumber, but it seems more masculine. Good fragrance, I recommend it to anyone.
For me, so far it is the best Ralph Lauren I have tried. I haven’t tested the Supreme Oud yet, but it is true that the women I like have always complimented me. I recommend it for hitting on beautiful ladies, especially those with pale skin and blue or grey eyes. I give it 10/10.
